I like the proximity of everything. The views are out of this world. So nice to people watch. If you wake up early, it is such a breath of fresh air without the crowd. Staff were super nice. Breakfast was good. Excellent sound proofing. Air conditioning was good.

We stayed at the triple room facing the baptistry. Furnishings need to be updated. For the price that we paid, they should have at least fixed the toilet paper holder and the lights inside the bathroom. Also, the headboards need to be replaced. They were peeling off. Stairs to go up at night is super dark. Need a flashlight. I don't know why they can't install some lights.

We stayed here just one night on 8/9/23 after our flight home was cancelled, so this was our ‘bonus night’ in the beautiful City of Florence 🏆 Wow, what an incredible view! All 3 rooms of our suite (the Brunelleschi Suite on the 2nd floor), looked straight out onto the Baptistry and Cathedral on Piazza San Giovanni in Florence. In arrival we just threw open the windows and enjoyed the view We quite liked the murmur from the busy Piazza during the day, but be warned, the bar below did have pretty loud music playing til about midnight (did not bother us as we are night owls👍) The guy that welcomed us was super friendly, as was the chap that managed breakfast and our check out. Master bed was THE biggest bed I’ve ever seen! (Suit thruples 🤣) 2nd bedroom also a double. Beautiful bed linen. Gorgeous big bathroom with big shower Lounge has comfy sofa and huge TV that has Netflix (also has Amazon Prime but screen kept freezing, so stuck with Netflix) Felt very grand stepping outside through the HUGE heavy front doors! Reception and breakfast is on 3rd floor (there is a lft👍) I read reviews complaining of dark atairwells, but there ARE lights (timed to save electricity)

Our apartment had a rather nasty pervading smell of smoke like there had been a fire below recently? We literally had to keep the lounge windows open because it did make me cough. Breakfast is indeed as disappointingly mediocre as other reviews mention. One does expect more for the cost per night here. I’d improve it if I were them, look at what competitors are offering. Also the room breakfast is held in feels like a cell. No windows. Made us want to whisper, strange atmosphere.

AMAZING location, spectacular view of Duomo & really allowed you to soak in the sights and sounds of Florence!!! Very clean, had everything you needed including a bonus - daily breakfast. Staff so helpful and knowledgeable, great communication and happy to accommodate any requests. Easy 10 minute direct walk from train station.

Nothing for me it was 10/10 🇮🇹 I loved hearing the activity of Florence from my room but if you are a light sleeper this may not suit you.

the location is so central, easy to make necessary stops, etc. This location is great for families because it’s a close walk to train station, and all the major sites are minutes away. The view is AMAZING. The elevator works well and staff are very helpful.

The breakfast is more along the lines of a basic continental, which given the price I expected a little bit higher quality breakfast and coffee.

This place is amazing! Perfectly located just in front of the Duomo; our room was huge, the size of an apartment, with a small living room, a huge bedroom and also a terrace. I think they have joined 2 king beds in this bedroom, because I've neve seen a bed that size! On top of this, from the bed you have an amazing view of the Campanile; at night it glows, but don't stay there if you don't like to wake up at 7 am by the (loud) church bells sounds! The breakfast is simple but good.

Excellent location! Literally on the duomo plaza with a perfect view of the front of the cathedral and bell tower. Rooms as small like every hotel room in an ancient city, so just expect that. Our room was right above a sidewalk pub which was fun in the day, but noisy at night. The 2nd night we shut the outside shutters which helped the noise.

Could improved staff communication. We had scheduled an early breakfast in advance so that we could make an early tour at the Uffizzi, but that was not communicated to the morning staff, so we did not have time to eat.

The question was how did we like the breakfast? It was basic. Yogurt, cereal, sliced meat and cheese,bread for toast and pastries in cellophane. Fresh pastries and real eggs would be a great addition.

Dark hallways and stairwell. Keys were a bit tough to maneuver.

The location was excellent!! It's right where the Duomo is and all the tourist sites were so close together. The room my friend and I stayed in was really spacious. The host were also helpful.

The entrance to the building was dark and seemed a little sketchy at first, but maybe because some sections of the building were under renovation. The washroom was very small and a bit tight.

Location !!!! Also elevator. Very nice mattress and a huge double bed. Surprisingly good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Not soundproof, no view from our room, no balcony. Also felt a bit uncomfortable with the simple lock on the door of our room. Another guest apparently got confused with the keys and mistakenly tried to enter our room during the night and almost did.
