Location was good..much closer in than I thought when looked at the map, easy to get around. Very small and intimate hotel. Almost like staying at Air B & B since staff is only their for a few hours and I think it only has 8 rooms so you are on your own. It was quiet and our favorite hotel for our visit to Italy.

Just know their are stairs only getting into the hotel. (You will be hauling your bags up 1 plus flight of stairs.

Very comfortable bed, nice and friendly hostel managers, always careful to the guest comfort. Good breakfast. Everything was really clean. Mini-bar in the room was always replenished at the end of the day. I recommend this one.

Not exactly a harsh criticism and does not affect much my final score. This hotel is a bit far from the city centre, which is not a big deal given the many bus lines available. Be mindful of holidays, though. About breakfast, it could, perhaps, be served earlier at 07:30, so it would allow for leaving earlier and enjoying a less crowded city. That being said, the manager was nice and allowed me to have it a bit ealier anyway, having noticed I was leaving very early everyday : ).

The place was very modern and clean, with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. The staff was nice and helpful. We loved the breakfast buffet, and the free coffee and tea in the room was also a nice plus. All in all, good value for money. If you don’t mind a little walk to the city center, I will recommend this place.

As we were traveling in early February, the place was a little cold, even with the heating turned up to its maximum. It’s also worth to note that the place is about a 20-25 minute walk from the city center, but we didn’t really mind.

Great location, room was really nice , it was clean, the beds were comfortable. I was pleasantly greeted every morning at breakfast by Rudina, lead staff and Domenico, the owner. Rudina speaks multiple languages, which is great for guests from all over. They both genuinely cared about us during our stay and helped us to organize tours, must see spots and other useful tips. We felt so welcome and at home! Didn’t want to leave! oh and the coffee was amazing at every breakfast! I especially liked the fancy croissants each morning- maybe a little too much.

There was no lift if you had heavy bags to carry up the stairs, but honestly it didn’t bother us at all.

A small hotel located on the first floor of a historic building, which has tall rooms with a bohemian air, with tall wooden windows fitted with green shutters. The mattresses on the bed are comfortable and the bedding very clean. The bathroom is large and has a walk-in shower. Varied breakfast with good products. From the local train station Firenze Campo di Marte you can reach it in 10 minutes on foot, and you can reach Piazza del Duomo in about 20 minutes in a straight line on foot. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but at a short distance from the hotel there are several pizzerias and good restaurants.

The entrance door to the apartment does not insulate very well and that is why in the morning you can hear the noise from the hallway.

The breakfast was so lovely, an array of different things to suit everyone. 20/25 minute walk to the main square. We loved this because I don’t like staying in the hustle and bustle! The room itself was small (but I knew this) so it wasn’t a problem. Everything was super clean and new with a gorgeous little terrace for all of the hotel to use. We were the only ones up there most of the time! Good value for money. Would stay again if I were to come back to Florence.

A good hospitality is what a guess is looking for in a new city, and that was the highlight of our stay at Hotel Emma Small Luxury Hotel. the staff were super friendly and helpful that they made the place feels almost like home. The place was super clean, the sheets were changed and room was cleaned daily. the breakfast was also great with great Italian coffee! The hotel itself combined the vintage with modern styles, it was like staying in some medieval story.

Clean, basic hotel. Breakfast was fine; only boiled eggs for the eggs. Staff was very courteous. Not in the center but there is a bus right outside on the corner. On second floor of a building without an elevator, so you will need to carry your bags. Nice terrace with city view. We had a comfortable stay overall.

We had the room next to the terrace and there were some noisy guests talking on it late at night. There should be a rule not to socialize on terrace during sleeping hours.

Everything, the location was excellent,the room was absolutely gorgeous, clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were very attentative to our needs. A gorgeous roof terrace gave us the out door space to meet with family members and relax.

That there was no elevator as it was quite a climb with luggage The thought of the self check in but we were extremely pleased with how easy this was by just following the instructions given to us.

Staff was very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. Hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. Furniture and décor was beautiful. Bathroom was exceptionally spacious.

No elevator/lift. Had to carry our bags up a lot of stairs. This hotel is not accessible for elderly people or people with disabilities.
