We booked the Imperial Suite, with a balcony and 431 sq ft in the description. This is the Palatina Suite, which is the only suite with a balcony; and it was fantastic! The suite has two beautiful, good-sized rooms. We fully enjoyed the balcony (overlooking the Piazza Pitti Palace) with coffee in the morning, and a glass of wine in the late afternoon. I'm sure all the rooms are nice, but if the Palatina Suite is available when you book, I highly recommend choosing it for the balcony experience. This suite also has an excellent air-conditioning system. The front desk staff are friendly and very helpful.

The only minor complaint is the bath/shower system. It is a large old fashion tub, that has a shower curtain all the way around. When you shower, the curtain has a tendency to billow towards you.

The room and bed were very clean and comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and looked out onto the Pitti Palace. The bathroom was large and modern. The location was perfect being close to many of the sites we wished to visit, including the Pitti Palace, Uffizi, the Academia, and Palazio Vecchio.

The windows of the room rattle when cars and trucks go by which did occur late at night and early in the morning.

The apartments are positioned directly across the street from Pitti Palace. The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious with a large bedroom and bed, full dining area with small fridge, and a large bathroom with shower and double sinks. There aren't any views to be had from this location, unless you like viewing the Palace, however there are plenty of places to eat nearby and the train station is a 20 minute walk away. I selected this place because the rooms looked like they would give a perfect feel of Florence Italy, and they did not disappoint!

The hotel is located on the square just in front of the Pitti Palace which makes it very convenient for the palace, for Boboli Gardens and for numerous eateries. Although the square is quite busy in the daytime it was very quiet at night. The location is about 5 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio and the edge of the city centre. The Uffizi museum is just over the bridge. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We stayed in the Royal Suite which had a large bedroom, comfortable lounge and excellent bathroom. The building is very old and had lots of character which had been retained despite the rooms having excellent quality modern facilities. The rooms were kept sparkling clean. The bedroom had a ceiling which had been painted in a manner that you'd find in an Italian museum. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and really good to come back to after a day of museums, relaxing by the river, shopping or generally just taking in the sights of this amazing city. The hotel offers amazing breakfasts (optional extra) providing a huge choice. The friendly and helpful staff were keen to ensure we were provided with what we needed to eat and drink. The excellent staff were also keen to provide advice or help as needed. Our overall impression is of a high class hotel with a Wow factor with friendly personal service

The wi-fi wasn't particularly fast (but it did work at all times).

We had the Imperial suite which had a small balcony overlooking the Palazzo Pitti where I loved having my coffee while watching the action in front of the palace. Loved our rooms, we had a bedroom with a king size bed and a little dinning room with a small balcony. The bathroom was spacious and had a free standing Victorian bath with shower , a bidet and big sink (also Victorian in style.) The room furnishings are so beautiful and you can see the attention to detail … you feel like you stepped back in time and lived in Palazzo Pitti for a while … the furniture , the frescos on the walls, cabinets with beautiful glasses and plates and even the cups of coffee are the best bone China. We had breakfast as well a few days and everything served is the best quality. However please check if the breakfast is included in the price as the booking can be confusing. Air conditioning is perfect as there are two , one in each room and has so many settings that can satisfy the fussiest requirements ( I am the fussy type as I get a migraine if the air is blowing on my head direction) . Reception ladies are very friendly and always available, rooms cleaned daily and everyone is very friendly. Loved the location , close to calling distance shopping, historic attractions, staff was warm and friendly upon arrival , during stay , explained with map culture attractions , restaurants , suite was gorgeous with murals on the ceilings , nicely appointed bathroom, definitely recommend

Day of departure I was feeling quite ill with digestive issues. We were packing quickly and owner was impatient with us leaving immediately. Although, she was very accommodating to keep our luggage and personal items secure while we were in the city for a few more hours. I would suggest offering face cloths to your guests. Mattress on bed needs to be replaced

The hotel is within the old family house of the Pitti family, predating the Pitti Place which overlooks it from across the square. It is in easy walking distance of all of the sites in Firenza. We stayed for 4 nights. We arrived on foot walking from the Unita tram stop (T2 tram from the airport). This gave us a great introduction to the streets of Firenza. We has a suite which was behind the breakfast room with windows overlooking a side road. The bedroom was huge as were the sitting room and bathroom. The decoration was sympathetic to the original house with many features retained, such as the painted ceilings. The bathroom was modern with very large shower. There was a coffee machine and more importantly, for tea drinkers, a kettle in the room. The staff / managers were very helpful and friendly and recommended a very good local restaurant 2 minutes walk away by the Santo Spirito Plaza. (We ate there 2 nights). We had breakfast included and there was an excelled continental choice with cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses. Enough to keep us going though most of the day. The chocolates on the reception desk were excellent! There is a small lift (2 people or 1 person plus luggage).

Like a lot of Firenza, street noise can be disturbing. If you want to have a really quiet nights sleep then you will probably need to be outside the central area.

Location, venue, breakfast, amaizing attitude.The breakfast deserves a special mention—delicious, diverse, and thoughtfully prepared to suit every palate. It was the perfect start to each day! What truly stood out, however, was the amazing attitude of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, exuding kindness, professionalism, and genuine care throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience!

The apartment was really spacious and comfortable in a great location opposite the Pitti Palace and very close to Ponte Vecchio and Boboli Gardens. Some reviews stated they could not work the large hot tub - the plug needs to be up near the top to seal, not pressed down like normal- in the hot weather we ended up using it as a cool tub! Really good feature. The kids loved the fact their room had 2 double beds and ours was excellent. Intriguing decoration throughout and easy access 24/7, would thoroughly recommend. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

It is south of the river and most sights are north, so bear in mind is some walking - can be a challenge at 37 degrees centigrade! Given the heat free water could have been supplied each day rather than just say 1 - not a big deal as cheap and easy to buy bottled water.

The room was extraordinary. I have so few words to describe the beautiful frescoes, the fantastic spa bath with fancy lights and the view of Pitti Palace from our room. Did I mention the beds? So comfortable and warm. We ordered the Italian breakfast the first morning - it was beyond any breakfast I could have expected. Pancakes, yoghurt, bread with fresh marmalade, capuccinos, brownies and italian cakes, raspberries and blueberries, selection of fruit, blood orange juice from Sicily, croissants ... honestly... order this.
