EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! We stayed here for 5 nights and could not have loved it any more. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and each day the hosts restocked complimentary water and snacks. The hotel is located central to all of the restaurants, shopping and entertainment you need here in Florence. All of this in mind, Gregorio and Fillipo were our favourite part of the stay. We have never come across such helpful and accommodating hosts during our travels (accomodating luggage, organising taxis and offering recommendations just to name a few). They continued to go above and beyond even after we had checked out, we had left a mobile phone in the room & Gregorio dropped it off himself at our next hotel for us. Thank you Gregorio & Fillipo for making our stay in Florence so memorable, we will definitely be back next time we are in town.

There is nothing not to like!

PERFECT location for a stay in Florence, 10-15 min by walking to key atractions of the city. Clean, well-equipped room with a spacious 'king-bathroom'. VERY HELPFUL and friendly Staff - giving complex information about conditions of the stay, tips regarding local attractions and restaurants, info in advance of traffic rules and limits within center of Florence, support with a garage booking and so on. Really extraordinary treatment of a guest! THANK YOU. It was a pleasure to discover that place. To be recommended with no doubts.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation. We stayed in the apartment, which was spacious and had a nice, comfortable sofa. The beds were comfortable, and there was great air conditioning. Our host Phillipi was incredibly kind, gave us lots of recommendations, for sights to see and the best local food places, provided a daily cleaning service, and topped up the fridge with water and coffee selection too which was much appreciated for the morning and evening. This accommodation is in the most perfect location, situated away from the main crowds, among the locals, but within walking distance to everything you want to see. We had daily vouchers to the downstairs cafe for a coffee and pastry, which was the perfect way to start the day. We will return to this accommodation the next time we visit Florence. If looking for a true italian experience, close to the centre it is here!Absolutely fantastic. Verity & Betty

The host was AMAZING!!! He went above and beyond to accommodate us. He provided links to restaurants, events and must see sites. When we couldn’t get a taxi, he took us himself to drop us off at the pick up location for our wine tasting tour. He made taxi reservations for us when we needed it. He was always available to communicate via WhatsApp and was very very responsive to our needs. I’ve been traveling for a long time and this BnB/Air BnB host is the best I’ve encountered. The cappuccino and croissants every morning from the restaurant was a nice touch. I am coming back to Florence and I will absolutely stay here again. The location was fantastic. Away from the cliche tourist areas but easily accessible as well. I’d give this place more stars if I could. Just fantastic!!!

It was in the middle of one of the piazzas so there were restaurants (with delicious food) immediately downstairs that we’d open until late at night and there was also live entertainment in front of the church each night BUT the best part was that once you got to your room, you couldn’t hear ANY of the noise from downstairs. It was a perfect location! And our hosts were so informative and helpful and welcoming!

The elevator was broken and being worked on when we got there but that isn’t anyone’s fault. It wasn’t too tough to take the stairs.

I would highly recommend the Spirit of Florence Boutique Rooms to a group travelling for a short break to Florence. Communication was excellent before arrival, and even though we were arriving late at night, the instructions, directions and access were all flawless! The Rooms: We booked 3 rooms, 2x triple rooms and one double room for a group of 7. All 3 rooms were spotless, serviced each day with beds made, bins emptied, water bottles restocked and with the option to have towels replaced as needed and bed covers changed mid way through our 4 night stay. The beds were very comfortable (ages between 35 and 60 with everyone sleeping very well). Rooms to the front have long windows that open onto the bustling square, with an inner window to block out noise at night. The rooms at the back of the property opening to a quiet street behind. Air conditioning was available in all 3 rooms. The triple rooms were spacious with plenty of space to move around, space to hang clothes, bed side tables, plenty of outlets for chargers and electronics, a mini fridge with snacks and drinks to buy, a cabinet with red wine priced for purchase, a kettle, tea and biscuits and a coffee machine with cups, milk and sugar provided. The bathrooms were a good size, one having a full bath and the others with a powerful shower and plenty of hot waters. Also, in each room, vouchers for a cafe downstairs where we enjoyed complimentary coffee and croissants each morning. For us, this was the best option for breakfast as we sat in the sunny square watching Florence wake up and the market stalls set up for the day. The staff and service: During our stay the staff could not have done more to accommodate our asks, giving us all maps, directions and recommendations from museums and restaurants to local hairdressers. The Location: The propriety is on a beautiful square that is vibrant from sunrise to late at night.

These are not ‘dislikes’, just a few points to note if you are thinking of booking: 1. The square is busy from early morning to late at night, so suited best to those who like to join the evenings fun not complain about it! 2. The reception is on the 2nd floor and rooms on the 3rd. There is a small elevator that fits 2 people with small suitcases ( which we used everyday) or a few flights of stairs to ascend. Just a note if you or your companions have mobility issues.

Location, hygienic, spacious

This was our best accommodation ever. Firstly we were greeted by our nice host, who was kind enough to give us recommendations for sights to visit, places to eat etc. The room itself was spacious, clean, with very comfortable beds, enough space for 3 people, nice heated room and bathroom. Every day we received free water and biscuits. It was at a short walking distance from most important sights. We would definitely stay here again. We read many negative comments regarding the steep and narrow stairs, but in our opinion it was actually part of the charm of the place, and also there was a small elevator.

Being located above bars, at night there was some noise, but it didn't bother our sleep.

The location was great, room was super clean, updated and spacious and Gregorio is an amazing host.

As a heads up my only suggestion would be to check where your room sits if important to you. If facing the courtyard it will be noisier in the evening as there are some great restaurants in the courtyard and if in the inside you will not get a view or much natural light. We were in the inside and had a great stay but this may make an impact.
