We got an upgrade of the room. This was the largest hotel room in Italy we stayed at. The bathroom was also huge. We also liked the design of the room. The location was amazing, just a few steps from the Jewelry bridge and Palazzo Pitti. There was a large variety of options for breakfast. The staff were also very nice. They checked us in earlier.
Parking was not very convenient. We were driving a car from Tuscany. The street was so narrow that there was no space to park to unload our stuff. We used their valet services and paid €39 for a 1-day parking.

The hotel was as stated unique! Located in a quite side street on the other side of the bridge from the city city if you understand me and it was great not too far from all the action but close enough to feel it. Gio, Tomasso and Enrico we just great, fabulous guardians and hosts of the establishment. Offering not just a great breakfast but a wealth oh knowledge and advice. They were great with directions and we spent a lovely day in Siena ( please go visit and it's a nice train ride away). The room was spacious and had everything we needed. I was especially happy to see their waste recycling system and eco friendly bathroom products. Once you gain access to the property the 1st time it's easy going forward and if you can't manage the stairs there is a lift. One of the best properties I have ever stayed at.
Nothing to do with the hotel but beware of the taxis late at night if you arrive like us...they drive without a care...it was scary to say the least totally different to the day drivers!

Lovely place to stay in Florence! This quaint hotel offers the warm and friendly service of boutique accommodations without sacrificing amenities or comfort. Conveniently located near major attractions, it's the perfect place for exploring the city! The private suite is exceptionally designed, the bathroom is spacious and luxurious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
It's not a negative but rather something to be aware of- the key fob to get in needed to be pressed by the main door (leading to the street) rather than the interior door (leading to the elevator). Spent a few minutes feeling stuck until we figured that out, but it was nothing compared to the rest of the experience!

Location is superb for a short touristy stay in Firenze. You cant really think of any better. The whole Historical Florence is in the real walking distance. Breakfast is very good. Staff is most helpful in making all arrangements and assist. Just ask. They hehelped us with virtually all our requests, including dinner bookings, directions, taxi, tickets etc. Internet working perfectly well ( 9 or 10). Car parking is payable and it is off the property. But it is perfectly handled by both: property and garage. Car picked up/delivered within 10-15 min from/at the door with no extra charge.
We dont think there is any space for complains. All is ran professionally and such service and location is having its extra value on the bill. It is not cheap, but it is worth the money.

We had a lovely stay in Florence thanks to Plazzo Martellini. The grande room had also a lovely bathroom, shower and bath which I really enjoyed after a long day visiting sites in the winter. Breakfast had everything we wanted. We had our daughter with us and she slept on the sofa bed which was really comfortable. I enjoyed waking up and looking up at the high painted ceilings. Good restaurant recommendations from the staff, we ate well in Florence. And although parking is tricky and expensive via the valet service as you can’t park at the property, this was all clearly articulated to us by our host.
Small thing to note that there isn’t always someone at reception.

It’s a beautiful historic building just across the river and a stone’s throw from Santo Spirito, Palazzo Pitti and other attractions of Oltr’Arno. Due to availability issues they gave me a ‘super upgrade’ to the suite! Very kind and pleasant staff, good breakfast (although I recommend adding some fruit).
Although the upgrade put me in a room much larger than what I had booked, it was street-facing with 4 large windows. Anyone who knows Florence knows that double-glazed windows and shutters don’t protect you from all street noise. As a noise-sensitive person I would have slept much better in a courtyard-facing room.

The location was great--nice to be a bit away from city center in quiet and charming Oltrarno, which has many great food options and sites. The staff provided detailed info on how to access/enter the property. All staff were so pleasant and friendly. There is an elevator as well as stairs to the 3rd floor of the building, where the reception and rooms are located. The building is old, yet updated. The room we booked (Suite) was beyond spacious with an extra long and comfy bed, abundant seating--sofa, small tables and chairs. There was a refrigerator and coffee maker, plus tea options. The bathroom was also quite large with storage space for personal toiletries. The large windows allowed great views. Although on a busy street, at night it was quiet. Wonderful selection at breakfast and the servers were attentive to offer seconds on beverages.
Bathroom--although updated, the quality of the update wasn't the best. The walk-in shower needed a better design to have the water drain rather than spill out on the bathroom floor--perhaps a steeper incline and a wider glass panel. The toilet seat was rather cheap and the lid not attached well. Room--The floor of the room needed a more thorough cleaning. (Use the slippers provided.) Breakfast--breakfast space is extremely small and narrow. The tables were spaced uncomfortably close, allowing no privacy. Everyone seemed to eat at the same time (8-8:30). The last morning we visited the Borghese Gallery early and returned to have breakfast at 10am, the room was empty. Coffee maker was a bit challenging to operate.

The communication was excellent, I was afraid about the parking and the ztl.. You should talk to them via booking messages, they arrange everything. Manuela was so helpful, she reserved a table for us at a restaurant and was very responsive to all my questions. The room was great, clean and very preety.

The property was so well kept, had all the modern facilities but retained its historic charm. We had a superior room and it was huge. The view was out to an alley which was quite noisy but the room was comfortable without the windows open at night. The bed was lovely and we logged onto our Netflix accounts to watch some tv before bed. The shower was great and breakfast was superb and kept us going till late lunch - would recommend and will be coming back!!
The alley way to the side of us was quite noisy

Lovely facility, great location. Excellent breakfast, including fresh items, bread assortment, sandwiches, coffee and staff service. Wonderful fresh fruit always available 24/7.
After departure, I received some rather curt messages from staff re: tourist tax due. You caused an unnecessary complication and stress. I will not be able to go to the bank to do a transfer until next week, at additional expense to me and caused by staff. Why did staff not take care of this when I checked with them the day before my departure, when they knew full well I had to leave early, before any staff would arrive on-site? (Staff arranged the early taxi for me the day before.)
