Excellent location. Extremely warm hospitality and very nice staff. Everything is clean. Fully equipped kitchen is nice. The breakfast is great.

The sofa, kids slept on, is not very comfortable. There was a note in the kitchen saying something like "please leave the kitchen in the same condition you found it. If not, we will charge you 50 euros" It was a bit strange to get this note in a 500euro per night apartment, at least for me.

The penthouse suite was spacious, well appointed, beautiful and remarkably convenient. The kitchenette ( which had all the necessary appliances ) was perfect for preparing a simple dinner or nighttime snack for my husband and I. The 360 views of Florence from the apartment were spectacular . We could even see the Duomo from the living room! Of note, this was our fourth trip to Florence over the past 10 years. This hotel room ( or rather suite ) was the best so far. Finally, the location is excellent. We typically stay directly in the old city however this location just a block south of the river was not an obstacle. For example, a guest will be in the main tourist shopping area in 5 min, and Ponte Vechio in 7 min. The hotel was well located for tourism purposes as well. My mother has the standard double room which was quite spacious as well, especially for Europe.

The property itself was great. The stairs in the penthouse could be challenge for older people if the person has disabilities.

The hotel was beautiful! The royal suite was gorgeous, huge and equipped with everything we needed. The bath in the royal suite is amazing! The design of the suite, the roof and the finishing touches are beautiful.

The royal suite is next to the entrance and hotel lobby so we could hear people coming in and out, staff chatting etc during the day.

The Palazzo Ridolfi is an amazing gem, in an amazing location! the rooms are comfortable, and if you are willing to spring for it, the Altarna Suite was exceptional!! Imagine a three direction view of the city, with the Duomo and Medici Palace out one, and Basilica Santo Sprito out another, with the church bells ringing and the sunrise incredible! Even better was the top tier staff! All were friendly, and went out of their way to ensure an incredible experience! Evita played the part of local guide/concierge. She made reservations for us, and was always happy to help and chat.

Literally the only thing I can think of is the small-ish elevator. It still worked. That's it. It was very nearly perfect!

Everything was better than we could have imagined. The room was super cosy & comfortable, from the fabrics, lightening, the cosy bathrobes, good quality towels, the beautiful room fragrance you can see a woman with taste and experience in 5 star hotels has taken care of everything. We felt really comfortable and the owner took her time to explain for us everything important. She recommended a restaurant close to the hotel called 4 Leoni which was fantastic. The location is better than we could have imagined, you are in 10 min walking distance everywhere important. They gave us water complimentary and stored our luggage. We didn't feel like in a hotel, we felt like in a private suite with service but 5 star level. They use the beautiful shampoos and bath gel from Ortigia which they also use in the Raffles on the Palm Jumeirah a $1500/night hotel. So we felt very luxurious

The location is fantastic and the main attractions are all within walking distance. The building itself is beautiful, from modern but tasteful fixtures and fittings in the room, to the historic charm of the building which includes an original mural painted on the ceiling in the breakfast area. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My Wife was unfortunately unwell during our stay and they were all so kind and accommodating, which we are so appreciative of. The room itself was beautiful. We had the standard; next time we hope to get one of the larger rooms, (which look even more stunning!) and stay for longer. If you would like to immerse yourself in the beautiful city of Florence in somewhere that's clean, safe, charming, historic and convenient, with brilliant staff - then the Palazzo Ridolfi is for you.

The hotel was formerly a wealthy family home located near the Pitti Palace and a stone’s throw away from all the major attractions. Its location is peaceful and quiet which is nice as the streets in the high foot traffic zones can be uncomfortably busy. The architecture of the building is beautiful and d the staff are just wonderful. Very kind, helpful and informative. The restaurant recommendations were fabulous. The nearby shopping and piazza is a feast for the senses. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and maybe upgrade to a larger suite next time as well.

The scorching August heat outside is of the hotel

Location - very convenient. Located within a short walking distance to the train station, but more importantantly, very close to the historic centre and all its attractions (including a short 22-minute walk to Piazzale Michaelangelo). We loved the area of Oltrarno with its antique shops and wonderful restaurants. Facilities - rooms are quite, comfortable and clean. Decor is beautiful and very calming. We loved our room.  Service - staff is kind, welcoming and helpful. Attended to all our requests and gave us useful recommendations. Breakfast - tasty and plentiful. The cappuccino was particularly great. We found it reasonably priced Overall, we had a perfect stay (we wouldn't have changed anything) and will definitely come again next time we visit Florence. Highly recommended.

Perfect location, 10 min slow walk to the centre. Far from touristy paths, but quick and easy to get to them. They serve a very good breakfast with everything you need. Food was so fresh and delicious. A nice hotel building with its own history. We stayed in one of the suites, and the room was absolutely amazing. Work of staff was outstanding when trying to accommodate us.

I had an impression that parking was for free at the hotel’s site; but they took our car to the garage and we had to pay to the garage separately. However this service was nice, quick and easy. The hotel staff took our car keys upon the arrival and took care of everything.

The staff were so helpful and polite. They gave us a lot of useful information of the city and a map of the all the best places to visit. The location was excellent in the centro storico, right next to the bridge and walking distance to all the shops and sites of the city, The design of our room was very elegant and the bathroom perfectly combined modern with classic design, We would definitely return to this hotel to stay on our next visit to Florence.

The room was a little smaller than anticipated and the bed and pillows were a little hard. We would have preferred that water bottles were available free of charge for guests and not for an extra charge.
