City tax must be paid in cash. Excessive noise: the property is right on a street with multiple trattorias that are open until late at night. The locks are extremely loud. If anyone's talking on the hallway you can listen to their every word. The bathrooms have no vents or extractor. We went in late October and it was hot, I can't imagine what it's like in the middle of the summer. The elevator doesn't drop you off in your floor (so you can't use it).

The location is excellent for being close to everything in the historic center as well as the tram to the airport and the main train station, and although it's a bustling part of the city the room was quiet. I liked that I could check in independently and then in the morning a very nice human was there, and the breakfast brought to the room is perfect to start a busy day. I feel it is a good value for the price--other places in Florence for the same price do not offer the same level of comfort, cleanliness and personal service. I will definitely stay there again my next time in Florence.

Everything! You get exactly what you see in the pictures and description. Location is perfect, couple of seconds walk and you’re at the Florence Cathedral, central to everything. About a 10-15minute walk to the train station. Room was clean, breakfast included was great. We had a tours booked on a couple of days that required us to meet early morning, we were able to ask for breakfast earlier with no issues. A very cute run B&B, owners are fabulous, very friendly, excellent communication. Would 100% recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!

The location could not be better: on a small, quiet street with a restaurant by the door, but just some 200 feet from the Duomo! (btw, Mozart stayed at the house on the corner in one of this three visits to Florence -yes: Wolfgang Amadeus). We walked from the train station -uncomplicated and a perfectly manageable distance for three stiff-jointed 60+ year olds. The attention matches the location for excellence: charming, English-speaking Michela received us very warmly, gave us a map, lots of information on how to get to the main attractions, and a recommendation for a very good restaurant. The attention was exceptionally good throughout our stay. After check-out, we were offered keys to the property so we could use the restroom and asked if we wanted to leave our suitcases in the breakfast room. We preferred to leave them under lock and key, so they directed us to a luggage holding facility nearby which is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. As for cleanliness, everything was spotless.

It wasn't a problem at all for us, but be aware that the hotel is one short flight up a staircase. There is an elevator, but it does not stop at the first floor.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Relais del Duomo and I'm very happy with my experience. Michela and Francesco made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were incredibly helpful, always available to answer any questions I had and provide useful recommendations about local attractions and dining options. The location of Relais del Duomo is just perfect. It is literally around the corner from the cathedral and within walking distance from many attractions in Florence. We also walked from and to the main train station. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone seeking a stress-free accommodation experience. Michela and Francesco's hospitality is first class.

The hotel is so close to the Duomo in the city centre, not far from station and close to museums. The room was good value for money and the breakfast Was lovely and coffee delicious! Michela and Francesco are wonderful hosts and make you feel at home .

Free Wi-Fi, the breakfast tray is stocked to the brim with fruit, friendly and helpful staff, basic room but clean with bath products, free sachet coffee and tea bags with kettle, a wardrobe with key, and there is a small in-room safe. Most importantly, its smack-central location and just steps to the Duomo but quiet at night (it's one row behind the row of shops fronting the piazza). Good restaurants below, especially Bottega di Fattoria and a chocolate cafe. Kind staff helped to carry my heavy suitcase down 3 short flights of stairs to the ground floor. Passcodes for door access were sent to my booking.com message inbox and instructions were detailed and easy to follow. There is also a pantry with coffee machine, tea and extension sockets, so it's great if you need to pass the time after checkout. The bed also looks basic but was comfortable enough and I fell asleep easily. Very accommodating residence.

The little lift did not go to Level 2, where the B&B is located so you'd have to lift your luggage up 3 short flights (thankfully, only 3). Checkout is early at 10am.

A lovely small B&B just off the piazza where the Duomo is situated. Lovely staff who look after you well & who are on hand every morning for breakfast & enquiries. Checking in after 12 when there are no staff is explained well in the emails received beforehand, & is easy to do. We had the smallest double room which was cosy but worked well for us for 3 nights.

Very Very Comfortable. We arrived in Florence on the train and it was only a 10 minute walk. Our stay with Relais Del Duomo was in the heart of Florence and so close to everything Florence has to offer. Now, I have never met such wonderful host such as Michela and Francesco. When we go back to Florence, I will have no problem staying there again.
