They upgraded my room to a room in their sister hotel, Nuovo Nord. This was a great upgrade - my original booking was for a small single room with ensuite - this room was a good-sized double with a large, modern ensuite with nice features including a smart TV, mini fridge and coffee/tea-making facilities. The free biscuits and sweets were a lovely touch! Good close proximity to the station Piazza Principe and city centre for sightseeing. Excellent breakfast included.

The only complaint I have is that my room was right next to a very busy street, and this was fairly noisy throughout the night - my sleep was a bit interrupted at times.

Two biggest advantages of this place for us was the location (couple minutes from the Piazza Principe train station) and the elevator, so we didn't have to carry our luggage by staircase. Also, it was nice to have three separate beds for three people.

The shower was a little bit too small for not so small people. Other than that everything was fine. Also be careful with the plug in the sink - at some point it got plugged and we didn't manage to unplug it.

The room was clean and a good value given the size, location, and price. The hotel is very conveniently located if you are travelling by train, and it's a walking distance to many restaurants and some of the main museums. Receptionists were honest and friendly and they offered to store our bags. I saw a comment from another reviewer complaining about the identification procedures, but in our view, it's something that is needed and it made us feel safe.

We stayed in this hotel for one night in August on our way to Florence. The AC and Wi-Fi were both very weak and not efficient. The bathroom door was wobbly and sink was clogged. Still, we felt the room was a good value for the money.

it is literally minutes away from the train station!

air conditioning wasn’t working in our room for the first night of our stay. the room was so warm that we had to keep the window open, and electric fan on all night. the receptionist tried to reboot the unit but that didn’t fix the issue, so our first night was kinda ruined. for the second night, they’ve moved us to a different room which had working air conditioning and a few more facilities, plus an extra living room! we do appreciate the upgrade hence the good review. I hope they will fix the air conditioning in the first apartment, cos without it you would struggle to sleep.

Great location! Few minutes walk from Genova Piazza Principe station, restaurants and groceries a few steps away. I love the building and the many "old' common places. Their upstairs lounge was a nice place to seat down to read or use your computer. A lovely mixture of modern and old. Staff very helpful. Walkable to the cruise port. (We were too lazy but took a cab, taxi driver charged 20 euro. Not sure if that was normal, I would just walk next time). We definitely plan to stay in this hotel when we come back to the beautiful city of Genoa! I recommend this place.

Not that we didn't mind, since we travel light and our motto is only travel with what you can carry ... But not sure if there is a lift...there are stairs to the rooms....so for those with mobility issues may have a hard time carrying your luggage to the room. Note we never asked if there was a lift since it was fine for us to carry our stuff.

We enjoyed our stay very much even though it was just for one night, Hotel is in great location just near Piazza Principe station, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. Although we did not need it, we were offered to have our bags stored before checkin and after checkout for free. Grazie!

Location is 1 block from train station

Exiting the shower was difficult due to a step down and a slippery shower floor . Heavy people may difficulty getting through the shower door

We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they let us get into the room quickly. The staff were nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the train station, so it was convenient for us.

The shower is quite cramped.

Nice spacious, comfortable room. Good breakfast and excellent location.

Slightly noisy because my room was facing the main street but there's nothing to be done about that and it certainly wasn't excessive.

Walking distance to the port, train station, markets and cruise terminal. Welcoming staff. Window that opened. Cafes nearby. Good size room for the price.
