We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aktea very much! It is very clean everywhere! The whole facility was tastefully built, decorated and pleasant, the outer grounds featured many trees, hedges and flower-bushes which were nicely cared for. Location is very convenient, and staff very friendly and accommodating!! My family has some dietary issues and staff cared to provide the necessary specifics and services. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beds were very good size and quality. AC was good. Privacy of our outer space was ok and very close to the pools. Very relaxed atmosphere around the pool as well! Pool bar was convenient and offered light refreshments over the day when the restaurant paused. Bathroom and Pool Towels were clean and tidy. Parasols were opened every morning for the comfort of their guests. Lovely mix of ages of people present when we were there.

Unfortunately our AC had limited function and it got quite warm in the room. There was no a-la card breakfast option but it was possible to ask for some scrambled egg serving.

A wonderful resort hotel with excellent staff and facilities. The pool is big and well designed and the bar staff were excellent and really knew how to make a cocktail. My room was large and comfortable with a great balcony and refreshingly cool air conditioning. You're located about 3 minutes from the main street so you're just far enough away for a stay.

Everything was great but maybe breakfast could have some extra options that are more palatable to international guests.. but it was still very nice.

Breakfast is not 4 stars and very poor; there are no eggs or bacon and there was only 1 kind of cooked ham and 1 kind of salami. Fresh fruit is available.

The location was great. Friendly staff and very clean.

A bit disappointed about the sun umbrellas, when was windy they couldn’t open it and it was very very hot for a few days and not shadow at all. We were expose under sun in pick hours and with a 3 years old and an elderly woman it wasn’t the best. Also they should put a bit of music and organise a mini club for the kids just to entertaining them a bit more and make parents stays more enjoyable 😊

Location & pool - although you are around the most amazing water it is nice to have a pool to relax in the hot Italian summer. Great cocktails!!

For our last night on the island of Lipari it was a great experience. The hotel is great, with a huge swimming pool, a bar next to it, nice room with efficient A/C, powerful wifi and ideal location since it's at walking distance form the port and from the main city street with all restaurants, bars and shops. But the best is the staff: everybody is extremely nice, with a real attention to the customers. They want to help and do it so nicely, speaking English or French (our lenguage). They book one of the best restaurant for us (I didn't manage to do it myself) and brought our breakfast in a bag at the Ferry Terminal since we had no time to take it to go. This kind of service is really exceptional so I want to send a special thank you to the front desk team (and the shuttle driver too). This was an awesome experience in Aktea hotel.

Clean, friendly hotel within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the ferry. The hotel was closing for the winter the day we left so it was very quiet.

The hotel was beautiful and very easily located to the port and main street to eat or shop. The girls at front desk were extremely helpful and friendly.
