Location was what drew us here, brief layover before ferry to Salerno. The hotel is great, clean, and comfy. Hosts very responsive to requests and messages, stayed to meet us for early check-in when we said we would arrive early from train, allowed us to check out later (ferry not til 23.30pm) Air conditioner works well. Location - close to loads of attractions, pubs, and restaurants.

Keycard switches on the electric, so you cannot leave things charging when you're out. Understand this is better for the hotel with costs, etc.

This was really only a stopover to catch the train/ferry the following morning. The host was efficient in getting requested milk for tea when we pointed there was not any. Room was clean and comfortable for our needs.

It was not clear till we arrived that breakfast was not on-site but in a cafe down the street. Due to our rush to get the train they did let us pick up a croissant on the way to the station .... but there was not much else apart from a cup of coffee on offer.

Lovely room with great en-suite bathroom and in a great location with all night life in a few minutes walk. Really clean and comfortable.

Only problem was it was noisy on the Saturday night with a bar and people on the street outside but did not spoil my stay - but it is a busy road and a lot of traffic, restaurants and bars near by: Which is good but can be noisy if you want to sleep.

The host and his family were amazing. We arrived in Messina on the day of a huge concert, and there were no cabs available. The host drove to us at the ferry station on his scooter, helped us find the tram, drove alongside the tram, and had his wife meet us at the tram stop to take us to the B&B. They were so kind, and we remain so grateful. The room was fantastic too!

Amazing family running the place, Carmello was so great, helped us with everything we needed and gave us the best advice. It is very close to the center ant the port, and a short bus ride away from the beaches. It was clean, the beds and pillows super comfortable. Great place to stay!

Breakfast options were minimal.

The B&B was easily accessible from the train station (about a 12min walk) it was also surround great bars and restaurants. It was very easy to access and was also not too noisy in the evenings. the staff were very friendly and helpful and communicating with them was very easy and quick.

Easy walk from train station , staff lovely and breakfast super. Room was spotless and big. Great for short stopover on our way to Taormina.

Messina perhaps no sea walk or prom and lack of good restuarants in area or guides . Located beside tram .

The breakfast is minimal in quantity and a walk to a separate cafe. Not what I was expecting and/or used to doing.

Accommodation was so central from Train station to the Port..easy walk into town to see all the main attractions..Great
