Location excellent and rooms a very good size. Very helpful staff

Being charged extra for tea and coffee at breakfast ( €6 for a cup of tea - 1 tea bag!)

- fantastic location - the hotel is located near the shopping district, 5 minutes on foot from the cathedral and the Sforza castle. - the cosiness, great boutique style. - variety od food during the breakfast. - nice, helpful staff. - my room was clean, although some furniture is obviously a little bit dated - it adds something to the hotel's charm, though. - comfortable matress (not too soft).

- there's a glass transparent door to the en suite bathroom that shows and allows you to hear (absolutely zero soundproofing!) everything that happens in the bathroom. If you travel with your spouse - I get that the possibility of a joint shower may be enjoyable to some, but still - using the toilet should guarantee some privacy that is not given. If you're travelling with distant family or a collegue - suuuuper awkward to allow your roommate to maintain some privacy.

Great location, just off a pedestrian walkway and an easy walk to Milan Cadorna train station, the Duomo, and the lovely Brera district. We really appreciated the welcome cappuccinos offered when our room was not quite ready, as well as the welcome proseccos and snacks at happy hour in the cute lounge. The service was outstanding - all the staff were extremely kind and helpful, from Attilio at check-in to the gentleman who made a dinner reservation for us, to Mamadou who ensured we had espressos and water at our 6 am checkout. Also enjoyed the thick fluffy towels and bathrobes. Would definitely stay here again!

There is a fair bit of light from the room fire alarm/hallway/outside lights at night, so travellers may want to bring a sleeping mask.

This is a lovely boutique hotel very close to many of the sites that you will want to see in Milan. Five minute walk to the Duomo, 15 minute walk to the square where many tours meet. The front desk staff was excellent, Attilio was especially helpful and always cheerful. We appreciated his courtesy and professionalism. The room was very comfortable although you do need to contact the front desk to change the temperature in the room. That was really no problem as they were quick to respond. The breakfast is outstanding, coffee made to order, fresh bread and pastries, the scrambled eggs were really delicious. Could not have asked for a better start to the day.

The following is information for travelers from the States. We did not know that there were shutters to be closed at night so the first night we slept with street lights shining in the room. The shutters in our room were hidden from view. Also, to turn the lights on you have to hold the switch down. To open the door you press the key against the control and then when you hear a light click you press the door open - you don’t use the door handle at all.

Great hotel in a great location. Wonderful staff who were all very helpful and knowledgeable. My room was very spacious and clean with everything you could need. The included breakfast was perfect and afternoon happy hour drinks and snacks were a lovely inclusion. It was a short 7 minute walk to Duomo and all the main city attractions. The rooms were also very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

The central location is optimal. Quiet but close to attractions, food and shopping. Sabrina worked very hard. She was really lovely. The breakfast was nice too.

The elevator is tiny. Rooms are quite small. There is no coffee in the room, which I like to have before breakfast. I like cold tap water to drink. It would be nice to have that available in the mini-fridge complimentary. At check in we were offered cold water but told it was avail in the room mini bar for $4. Seemed like a tease.

Very well located in the heart of Milan, near the shopping district and historic center. In the brera district and vicinity of the duomo, restaurants and shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and balanced breakfast.

If you leave the window open, it may be noisy from time to time.

A great central location close to tourist sites, the popular Via Dante as well as some excellent non touristy restaurants. With a generous size room with a small balcony Palazzo Segreti was good value for money. The welcome was excellent with staff keen to assist and suggest places to dine and getting around. We arrived on an early flight and the reception looked after our bags and had them waiting in our room when we returned for a day's exploring. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good nights sleep. There was no street noise though the noise in the hallway from returning guests on the same floor on the second night did carry and woke us. Breakfast service was to a high standard and there was a well curated choice to suit all tastes and diets, the service from the staff was again excellent. It was our fourth visit to Milan and we've stayed at a variety of hotels, this is one we would look to return to and would highly recommend.

The rooms are eclectically decorated which while I get what they were going for didn't quite work and felt a bit haphazard. The shower opening into the bedroom rather than being in the bathroom was an inconvenience rather than a fun feature, they really need to change that. Sometimes you do just want just a shower. Needs a socket and USB charging port either side of the bed, a small but picky detail. The lift while a whimsical vintage feature is impractical.

A superb boutique hotel in an amazing location in Milan city centre, close and accessible to everything. Staff very friendly, helpful. The hotel amenity unique in style . The happy hour delicious treats provided were great .

We were disappointed that we did not received complimentary bottled water, particularly given cost of accommodation. Complimentary first coffee or tea with breakfast would be welcomed.

Friendly staff, large room, very comfortable bed, great shower, great location. Loved the old lift.

The room was quite dark and we struggled with the lighting.
