Good Service, clean room and very good location.

Very great friendly service always, one of the best recommended hotel in Milan city center. The rooms is quite big and clean and very nice bath room. The hotel location is very close to Duomo and city center. Very silent location but very good access to the all transportation like Metro & Tram & Bus. It‘s just less than 10 min walk to Duomo or Brera. There are nice Italian restaurants around the hotel. I can always feel there like my home in Milan. I love this hotel.

I particularly liked the staff's willingness to deal with all my little requests. The location, close to the cathedral, La Scala, the Castello Sforzesco, and in the middle of the banking district, could not be better.

The bathroom was clean and modern-looking, but the jacuzzi, while perfectly functional, could have done with some repair. I stayed in the hotel about 20 years ago when everything looked brand-new; now it needs a little-freshening-up.

The room was clean and a nice size. It was located near the center of Milan and within walking distance to many of the historical sights. The staff were extremely nice and helped us with all our questions. They ordered our taxi for us on the day of our departure. Breakfast was provided for a fee, but it was a nice option to have available and the breakfast had a variety of items on it.

A fabulous location to explore everything Milan has to offer. The property is less than 5 minutes walk to the Duomo and is centrally located for great eating, drinking and shopping options. In a quiet street, the property has 24 hour reception with friendly staff, a lift - and as a bonus - quirky decor in the rooms! The property is also close to Metros and about 40 mins walk to Milan Central Station for those wanting to wander (through the park). Breakfast was offered but there were so many places nearby we didn't try it. Large double bed in the room, and I asked for a room with a bath and got it. Also TV with many Italian and English channels, and aircon.

This hotel was great! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Every thing was immaculately clean and everything I needed was provided every day. The location is perfect as it is a very short walk to everything I wanted to see. What was very important yo me was to feel safe , as I was travelling alone and so with this Hotel and it’s location I felt completely comfortable . plus the staff took such care over every detail that also made a big difference. One more thing, I stayed in a single room but the bed was a large single - so I had plenty of room and was nice and comfy. I had breakfast too, which was a cold breakfast but there was so much to choose from and everything you could wish for was there.

Perfect location close to the main attractions! We booked here extremely last minute due to our flight home being cancelled and re-routed from Milan instead of Venice. We arrived within a couple hours of booking and the team was already expecting us - they were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing fancy about Hotel Star but it's everything you need. Bonus points for the cute puppy they have now! ;)

I stayed 10days during my stay in Milan. This is the best hotel in Milan who wants to feel comfortable like at home in Milan. All staffs are very friendly and very kind personality. Rooms are very clean and big enough for long stay. Also the hotel located very silent location in the Milan city center. You can go to Duomo in few minutes also very close to Brera. I enjoyed very much my stay at the hotel in Milan.

Hotel Star is in a great location! you are in walking distance of The Duomo. We searched hard for somewhere within walking distance of Brera, Shops and Sights - this was an ideal hotel. The owners are clearly passionate about their hotel, it has a family feel, 24 hour desk and it feels very safe for travellers. On the next block is coffee shops for morning coffee. Brera has some lovely restaurants. We also visited Lake Como - easy enough to do in a day and hired a private speedboat which was very special. For the rate you pay I don’t think you will find many hotels of this value and location in the centre of Milan - we’ll be back!

For me the bedroom decor was a little dated, not to my personal taste but I knew what I was booking and the location compensated for that.

The location is very convenient, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I really liked the size of my room (specious) and the wooden floor. Also, the breakfast was very tasty with various choices.

The air conditioning was a little old to get enough cooler air, but this is a minor issue.
