On entering from the street the rather ancient and dilapidated stairwell towering above us looked a little forbidding at first but this is a historical city after all and these inner courtyards, which inevitably show the signs of the many years they've travelled through, make up part of its special character: when we got to the top floor though, we found that the room itself was modern, bright and high-ceilinged and there was a view out over the sea and the port with the big cruise ships and smaller ferries. There was free coffee and a coffee machine inside and all other conveniences. The instructions were clear and our hosts were very pleasant. Above all, the location is absolutely optimal for both the station (with the handy Alibus airport transfer for departure for example - you can pay the driver 5 Euros in cash or by card - it took quite some Net surfing to find this out so good to know) and most importantly the buzz, life, taste and colour of the Old Town/Historic Centre which includes the labyrinthine, cobbled-streeted, motorbike-infested Spanish Quarter and its cheerful, noisy chaos. The seafront with the ferry links is a street away (We went to Procida). One last tip: there is a very useful, low-priced, friendly laundry service just round the corner if you don't want to carry too many clothes with you. Overall, we had a great 4 nights and highly recommend this accommodation!

Absolutely loves the building! It had so much character, and it was huge, not just a room but more or an apartment. Loved being able to do some washing as our previous accommodations didn't have any washing line or facilities available. The building is old, but we love that style

We didn't read the part about not having an elevator until we arrived, so the stairs were a little tough, but that is 100% our own fault and I guess a little work out isn't a bad thing when we were constantly eating such amazing Italian food.

It was a really great experience - the hotel is located in a historic and architecturally beautiful building, close to the sea and the historic centre. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room conditions exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back!

Indeed, it is difficult to climb 5 floors after walking all day - but we didn't mind! It was all part of the experience.

Check-in, checkout, and communication with the host were very easy. Bruno was very responsive. The room is beautiful with a view on the harbor. There is a little common patio that one can use to hang out. Everything was very clean.

Bed is small (I think 190cm), the location is ok (you can get easily to places of interest in Napoli) but there isn’t really much going on in that particular neighborhood.

Everything was perfect can’t complain. From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted and offers refreshments. The architecture of the place was wonderful and the location only added to the comfort of the staff. More then we expected and what’s out on the picture. Highly recommended.

The building is a bit scary and the stairs are a killer but it adds to the vernacular and Asthetics

The room has an absolutely gorgeous view and the little garden is a lovely touch. Coffee machine is great fully stocked with pods, very big room and comfortable bed. Great location within Naples to reach everything you want or need and supermarket two minutes away

Only that it’s on the very top floor, the stairs are quite a lot!

This is a very clean, affordable, and safe place to stay in Naples. The B and B is directly opposite the port making excursions to Capri or Sorrento very easy. It's also a short 10 minute walk to the main streets of tourist Naples. The rooms are very clean and the host Antonio is very helpful and polite and has excellent knowledge of Naples and will tell you the best places to visit. The beds are good and there's a coffee machine and all the mod con's you need for a long weekend.

It didn't affect us, but if you do stay here be aware that there are 90+ steps to the top floor where you stay. The building is old and there's no lift or likely to be.

Location! Owner extremely helpful!!!!

No lift so luggage had to be carried for 4 floors. This was not an issue of the property itself just the building infrastructure was not there

There is a huge terrace with a sea view and the host was really helpful when asked for some recommendations in Naples.

The building has no elevator and there are a lot of stairs to climb but this is something that can not be managed by the host.

The host picked us up from the train station, explained places to go and visit. Amazing terrace with a view to the port. Room was very clean with a minibar. Location close to station, a supermarket around the corner. Even though Napoli can be loud, it was quiet and we felt safe.

We didn't mind it, but the building didn't have an elevator. Might bother if you have heavy luggage, which we didn't have. Shower could have had a soap shelf so you don't need to pick them from the floor. Overall barely nothing to complain.
