Beautiful rooms. A great roof top terrace to watch the Very much hustle and bustle of Traffic doing a free for all and hoping for the best 😊. The 5 rooms has a Central location. Lots of restaurants just outside, Lovely breakfast in the hotel, Simple but just right. Rooms are soundproof once the window is shut. Anyone wanting to do Pompeii or Amalfi coast tours Then the 5 rooms is ideally situated for the City pickup point which is at front of an hotel called the Starhotels Terminus. This is so easy and convenient to get to from the 5 rooms, Simply turn right out of the hotel building and a 2 minute walk on a pedestrian area And you reach the tours pick up point. No roads to cross so very safe. Just stand with the other people who will be waiting and the mini buses pull up and the guides will call names out for each bus.

There is a small lift.... The hotel is on the 4th floor So don't do as I did. I read on previous reviews to make sure you have a 10cent euro coin. We arrived midweek. Very hot with a lot of steps. The coin is needed to work the lift. We didn't have one. Totally our fault. Just take a coin next time. Once you are in the hotel then there's a little bowl full of 10cent coins free to take So you can use the lift from then on

For the price point, the property was excellent value. The location was within an easy walking distance of the station, there was a lift, the common areas were fantastic including a rooftop sitting area. Our bathroom was generously sized. Communication was easy and we were able to come early to leave our luggage. Fortunately for us, the room was ready even though we came way before check in time.

Not a dislike but I cannot comment on the breakfast as we left too early to have any. However the owner kindly let us take some biscuits and fruit with us.

Perfect location near the main railway station. The airport bus stops at the station and is only a 15 minute journey for 5 Euros. Easy to travel around the city using the metro, trams and by foot. Very clean accommodation and decorated to a high standard. Several restaurants close by. We had a late flight and were able to store our case until we were ready to leave.

We loved the place and the communication was great as to the location of the hotel. It is on the 4th floor of a block with a very small lift that between the hours of 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday, requires a 10 cent coin to operate it. If you don't have 10 cents, it's 100 steps to the 4th floor. The hotel has a pot of 10 cent coins on the reception desk to help yourself for the rest of your stay.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The hotel had a terrace dining area which we used when we had takeaway food back at the hotel, and it was a nice place for meals. The breakfast was simple but good. The location is also near the main train station and the circumvesuviana station which is perfect if you are using Napoli as a base for visiting Pompeii/Herculaneum and the Amalfi coast.

Nothing really. It would have been nice if there was a refrigerator in the room but it wasn't listed in the facilities when I booked so it is fine.

Room description is exactly as indicated. The room itself is on the small side but has just all that you need. Also, a very nice large bathroom. Place is on 4th floor with a tiny elevator for suitcases. Terrace/restaurant faces Garibaldi plaza and is perfect to sit down and have a drink. Rooms spotless and squeaky clean. Little. Total trust atmosphere, and Alfonso the host was great and helpful. Continental breakfast was just perfect: made to order coffee, fruit, yogurt, cereals, couple juices, jams and butters, and ham and cheese with a couple breads and croissants for you to prepare yourself. 3 minutes from Alibus (shuttle from Airport), just on top of the metro station, 3 minutes to bus stops that takes you closer downtown if you dont feel like walking and 200 meters away from Circumvesuviana train makes it transportation wise a hard to beat location.

Not that I didn't like, but to note: - There is a short flight of stairs before elevator if people comes with heavy luggage. - Especially during the day, you can feel vibration from metro/trains. some people may not like it.

Very clean and modern rooms. Room was a good size with nice large comfortable bed. Bathroom was a good size with a really nice shower. Serve yourself breakfast was nice. Also a fridge in communal area full of cold drinks so you could help yourself (pay for them before you leave) amazing artwork on the walls. Nice terrace area over looking Piazza👍👍

Location wasn’t very nice. Great location for the railway station though. Area around it was a bit run down and dirty. 5 rooms is on the 4th floor and secure. There is a lift (cost 10 cents but free after 7pm)

Breakfast was continental but had everything we could ask for .. i.e bread for toast, jams, croissants, cereals, coffee and juice. Hotel was small but staff were friendly and very helpful . The guest house is very clean and extremely tastefully decorated. Me and my family (husband and two teenage children) had two rooms and had so much space . We only had one night here to visit Pompeii, but we loved our stay. I have travelled to many parts of the world and can honestly say this is one of my favourite hotel stays ever. Ok granted, Naples itself isn’t one of my favourite destinations but this hotel is like a little calm oasis in a chaotic city. Would definitely recommend if visiting the Napoli . Very reasonably priced too. Thanks five rooms!

The entrance hall and stairs are not that pleasant, quite dirty and dark , however appreciate this is no fault of the guest house, but could put some guests off. Elevator is very small with luggage ( as five rooms Is on 4th floor) and only fits 3 people. Also cost 10c at certain times so make sure you have a coin handy!

Great location right next to the train station! The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Lovely staff and we really liked the stocked fridge you can help yourself to whenever and square up the next morning. The terrace was a plus to sit and enjoy the sun.

Not the nicest of areas in Naples but doesn’t feel unsafe. The breakfast selection is small but still suited us perfectly. These are just small things to be aware of - this place was really good value for money.

I chose this hotel for the Perfect Location, wonderful terrace and the bright and cheery modern decor and it was an excellent choice. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the Train, Metro and Bus so good for getting to and from the airport. Plenty of restaurants in the area and close to the old town. It was very clean and comfortable and run by a family who were so accommodating for all our requests and helpful with answering all our questions. It is a really relaxed and calm place which you feel as soon as you enter to the 4th floor sanctuary of the Five Rooms. The terrace is amazing and surprisingly relaxing as you watch the hustle and bustle of the busy Naples streets below. I would recommend it and I would go back if I stayed in Naples again. Good coffee and breakfast buffet with light fare were provided each morning and self service drinks from the refrigerator are available for purchase at all hours.

Five Rooms was a wonderful place to stay. It is a two minute walk from Napoli Centrale/Garibaldi station, so it was very convenient for us as we arrived from Rome by train and as we took the train to Pompeii the next day. We worried that the area around the station would be too seedy but actually found the neighborhood quite comfortable, with several good restaurants nearby. The best surprise was that the Centro Storico was within a ten minute walk, which we did in both daytime and night and felt perfectly safe. Additionally, the property is clean and comfortable. There is a lovely outdoor terrace for having a drink and enjoying the bustle of the city. The property has a lift, though it is accessed by about eight steps, so not for those who can't carry a bag up half a flight of stairs. Our hostess, one of the owners, even offered to post our postcards for us, as we struggled to find stamps. 10/10 great stay. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Naples, whether for a short or long time, especially if you have train travel. Such a pleasant stay.

When arriving, look for a very small sign that says The Five Rooms - it's easy to miss, and the door to the building makes it look pretty seedy. Fear not - the hotel is absolutely lovely. Find The Five Rooms on the call panel by the door and ring it - someone will come down to meet you.
