the location of the hotel is right next to the Piazza dei Miracoli. So it’s in the center of the touristic area and attractions, yet inside, it was very quiet. we were there for a mix of work (my husband) and leisure (I could be a tourist) , and it was actually central enough that my husband could take a short bus ride to the university, where he had to spend the day. The staff of the hotel were very kind and accommodating: we got in early and were given a room immediately nonetheless, and we left our luggage the next day until we had to catch a train.

I like old hotels and older decor. Many people would probably say this place is in need of renovation. It’s more on the serviceable side of things than a place one would want to hang out, though there is a small garden in back. For me, it’s more the bathroom that could use an upgrade, though everything was very clean. The rooms could have stronger lighting. Note that no breakfast is available but there’s a coffee machine in the room and a cafe right across the little square where the hotel is located. We took a bus from the train station to get there, and it was very easy.

The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect. Step outside, and you’ll find yourself at a lively market; turn right, and you’re right at the grounds of the Leaning Tower. It’s hard to imagine a better spot. Pisa is incredibly walkable, with plenty of options for enjoying fresh pizza and pasta, so you’ll never go hungry. The local convenience stores, called "Pam," are similar to Spar in the UK. The people in the area are also very friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The only issue I noticed in the room was with the shower. The water temperature fluctuated quickly between hot and cold, and the settings felt quite intense. However, it wasn’t a major problem overall.

The location of this hotel is perfect. So accessible from the airport and central station using public transport (1+ bus) and right next to the square where the Leaning Tower is located. The hotel is in easy walking distance of all the sights of Pisa. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and gave us some good ideas of where to visit and where to eat. There is a great cafe across the square from the hotel that is open all day with amazing food and drink. We had a triple family room on the first floor, which was large and comfortable with everything we needed (and more) for a short break. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a great size with a walk-in shower. We did not manage to enjoy the garden on this visit, as it was winter, but hope to return again in the spring!

I could not think of anything to make this stay better.

We've stayed at the hotel a couple of times now. It's a great hotel which is located right next to Pisa tower in the centre of Pisa. The Hotel just has rooms, (no restaurant, bar etc), which are completely adequate for a short stay. It's a short walk to nice restaurants and an excellent breakfast can be had in the café across the road. The staff are excellent and if you are delayed, like we were, will take steps to ensure you get into the property if you arrive very late. They are also happy to store your bags once you checkout.

If you aren't on the ground floor there is no lift to the upper floors but staff will assist you if you need it.

Cannot beat the location. We were in the 2nd building with the larger rooms which is in an apartment block about 2 mins walk from the main hotel, but still, you are so close to the tower and cathedral. Room was clean, large and had air con. Nice shower. Free WiFi. Cheap vending machine. Bottles of ice cold water were only 1 euro. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Room wasn't ready by 2.30pm even though the hotel had both emailed and Wattsapped to ask what time we would be arriving, which was a little disappointing. It was ready by 3 though, so we just hung around reception until it was done. Don't use the garden, at least not in Sept, we went out there for 10 mins and all got badly bitten by mossies. Room had a coffee machine, which would have been excellent had it any instructions.

Booking made same day so very short notice. Price was still very fair and the room excellent. Hotel reception (and hotel itself) closes at 10pm. We arrived after this time but arrangements were clear how to access the hotel and the room. Great location but difficult to find and no parking. We were told by someone that the nearby streets had blue marked parking areas which were metered but nobody bothered on a Saturday or Sunday. Don't listen! We didn't pay and got booked and had to pay a fine (which we did in a nearby Tabacco shop). The hotel also does not do food but there is an excellent coffee/cake shop just across the road. Reception, when manned, was very helpful. Excellent experience but with no-one about, if there had been a problem I don't know how they would have coped.

There is a vending offer which could have been better given that there is no kitchen. Parking instructions could have been (and possibly were but I missed them) better.

The staff member was very friendly and helpful. The room was cool, nice and big for our family. The facilities were clean. It was a short walk to the Leaning Tower etc.

The family room that we stayed in was in a building further away than described (so we couldn't see the tower) in a slightly strange location but it was just an additional 5 mins to walk to the main sights. There was no tea/coffee supplied - there was a machine but nothing to actually make a drink with. The walls were thin so we could hear other people in adjacent rooms in the rooms.

We were so lucky to find this hotel at the last minute. We booked late afternoon, arrived about 30 minutes later and the staff gave us a nice welcome, greeting us by name and giving us information about the area. It was so nice after being stressed about finding somewhere to stay! The room was lovely, it had its own private little staircase, it was very big with lovely windows and the bathroom was fantastic. And the location! It was only steps away from the Pisa tower! We had a really nice stay and wished we could have stayed longer then one night. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Comfortable and clean room looking out to garden. There's a table with chairs in the garden where you can have a drink or takeout food. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there's a bakery/coffee shop right across the square, and there are vending machines at the hotel.

Everything was good - staff were very nice! I read a negative review from someone who said the bed squeeked terribly. That happened to us, but if you have that problem, it's because the bed itsself and the decorative frame around it can rub together. Just move one or the other a bit and problem solved.

Short walk to Tower, restaurants. Lovely high ceiling in room. AC worked well and silently. 10% off voucher for breakfast at nearby restaurant. Loved the pictures in both room and bathroom. Room 10 is on first floor, on right as you look at picture. Bathroom is the room with balcony and flags. You can (just) see the Tower from the balcony. Picture is taken from city wall, which is a very good tour.

The market outside gets a bit noisy a bit early. The bathroom fittings were perhaps selected with a view to the boutique aspirations. Basin is v shallow and not designed to have a plug. Shower cabinet has lots of side jets in addition to the normal spray head. Unfortunately the extra plumbing for these takes up so much space that the cabinet is uncomfortably small. Would have loved a kettle to make the tea (yes, it's an English thing)
