Property was clean. The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - 7mins walk from Pisa leading tower and coffee bars and shops.

We were disappointed that it was no hearing, radiators were not working ( in our friend’s room as well). In description was coffee, tea, iron for clothes at room was only kettle, no coffee, tea or mugs, no iron at all. In room was very dark, as blinders were placed from outside of windows.

I had to choose this hotel all of a sudden, because the apartment I first choose (and paid) was unfit to live in. In days of university functioning plus tourists plus a national congress, find in half an hour another place to stay near the site of the congress was not easy. Indeed Amalfitana is classified as a 2 stars hotel, but they accepted us, gave us a room at discounted fare and upgraded us without any further payment. Treat us friendly, helped us free coffee and we could dine and have lunch in first days in their cozy restaurant, with an inner access from the hotel protecting us from heavy rain. up today, the day we left, they did their best to make us feel at the better comfort they could.

I plan my stays with Booking since decades. This was the first time I had to choose all at once another place. But I must admit that I would not have chosen this hotel with more time and calmer situation : and it would have been a pity, because in that case I would not met Pietro and his staff : really professional and friendly people.

Location is great a short walk to the leaning tower and the Duomo. Pisa is a small city and you can walk around easily to the shops, the main sights and the river its a fifteen minute walk from the station to the hotel. There is an onsite restaurant which is good would also recommend Osteria la Mesquita and Osteria I Santi very close to the hotel This is a two star hotel we had to book due to flights being cancelled staff were very friendly and kind to us and helped us throughout our stay. Showers were hot

Room was a bit dated but it was spacious as we were given a triple room, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Very clean & quite accommodation very local to the sites. A good little hotel that is however starting to show creaks at the edges. I would stay here again.

Could do with a fridge, and a breakfast (if we fancied it) all that was available was a prepaid booked coffee and pastry for a reasonable €3.

The hotel was great, easy check-in with friendly staff. The room was just what we needed for our short stay. It was clean and quiet we had a good nights sleep. The location was great with a short walk to the Leaning Tower- which was a must see at night as well as in the morning. We were able to leave our luggage at check out to go tour the Leaning Tower before traveling on. The neighborhood was nice with shops and restaurants.

As mentioned our stay was short and we didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant as mentioned in previous reviews, just means we may have to return another trip.

Well situated for train station, local buses, sights and local restaurants, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious (when compared with Rome!) Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Amalfitana.

There was a kettle in the room but no cups or coffee making paraphernalia. Unfortunately, the occupants in the room above were noisy and we were woken early with someone seeming pacing the floor with clumpy shoes on!

The hotel was very relaxing, had good air conditioning and wifi and was close to the pisa tower! The next morning we were flying from pisa airport, public transport to the airport took 30 mins and costed us about 15 euro, maybe it is cheaper to grab a taxi? The hotel offered 3 euro breakfasts which included a croissant orange juice and coffee. Perfect for before our flight.

At first the toilet did not flush properly, however the maintanace crew fixed it in 10 mins :))

Location and the staff brilliant, they upgraded our room for free, gave us a larger room. There was a lovely small restaurant attached and it was reasonably priced. We took the offer for an extra 3 euro's per person for a small breakfast, well worth it. Would definitely recommend. Also allowed us to leave our cases there for the day, before checking in and did not rush us out.

The hot water was fine on arrival, but a cold shower in the morning. The room was lovely, but the bathroom very tired and could have done with a few repairs.

The hotel was located at walking distance from the top sites in Pisa. The hotel was simple and elegant with a very nice garden restaurant. Although we didn't reserve, the personnel made great efforts to seat us after all and serve us very nicely. The food was great for dinner. Breakfast at EUR 3,00 was simple and effective wit a good coffee and a croissant.

The beds were OK, very soft, which was good for my wife and kids but less comprtable for me as a relative heavyweight. But it still was OK! The shower was very small but it worked.

the heotel is very close to the main attractions, which made it possible to leave very early to take some pictures without the monuments being crowded with people, then we returned to the hotel for coffee. The coffee was good, as it was like Italian coffee, croassaint, toast, a bottle of juice and a cup of coffee with a cost of 3 euros per person. The hotel staff were super helpful. it was good hotel.

Tne headboard of the bed was loose and every time my wife or son moved it made a noise. I requested a crib for my 2 year old son, but they didn't put it in the room.
