This is a superb hotel, from the welcome and free room upgrade to checkout it was a pleasure to stay All the staff where so incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel facilities where excellent especially the outside area with its exceptional pool which is really big. We had booked a garden view room and requested a upgrade just before we arrived and that's exactly what we got, a sea view room with a view to die for... it made our stay even more special... The rooms where slightly basic for the quality of hotel but still comfortable Location is a bit far out from town, about a 15 minute walk, which wasn't an issue as was pleasant walk. We also used the regular free shuttle service which was great Breakfast could have been better but still okay

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was a good base not only to explore Rapallo, but also it was very easy to catch trains to Portofino and the villages of the Cinque Terre. The hotel has parking space directly outside (limited spaces) and also a covered parking area (not sure if there is an additional cost). The hotel has very good facilities, a large outdoor pool and also nice spa with a small pool and good sized sauna and steam rooms and plenty of relaxation spaces. The room of the hotel was nicely fitted and decorated, if a little small. The breakfast was really fantastic with great choice for any needs, the creamy fondant potatoes were amazing!!!! The staff at the breakfast were also very well trained, friendly and would do anything for you. The view from the breakfast area was also very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a little out of the way. But its a short walk to Rapallo center (approx. 15 mins walk) and enjoyable to walk along the coastline.

An absolutely amazing stay. The service from staff was impeccable, they were happy to assist us with every need and did so with such a welcoming smile. We were given a welcome drink upon arrival and a complimentary room upgrade which was lovely. The hotel was extremely luxurious - pool and spa facilities were great and really helped us to relax after a busy few weeks of travel. Our room was beautiful, very clean and spacious. The buffet breakfast was great - lots of choice and great quality food/drinks. We loved everything about our stay and we were sad to leave.

Prices for the pool bar and restaurant were a little too expensive.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view of the sea from the terrace and the pool area is exciting and the spa is realy great. Also the parking/the garage for cars is realy good and save. The food in the two restaurants did not quite meet our expectations. The fassade of the hotel needs maybe a light refreshment.

all in all, we are not sure if the price/performance ratio is really right. Compared to other hotels in the same category, we had the impression that the price here is at the upper end of the scale.

Breakfast was excellent; Room was very good (a bit noisy due to the vicinity and the period of the year), View is fantastic. Service and on top of that, the attitude of the young staff has been highly appreciated: polite, friendly "mood" without falling into dangerous confidence with the customer. Top roof restaurant deserves a Michelin star definitely.

Frankly speaking the hotel and the whole staff were doing a brilliant job with a lot of passion. Only small drawback: the rudeness of some guests...

We stayed 2 nights with my fiance in this beautiful hotel. We were welcomed very friendly, we had a great, very clean room with a beautiful sea view. The spa area was great. There was really everything: different saunas, a indoor pool and a great little jacuzzi, little snacks, a tropical shower. Both the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant "Le Cupole" were very tasty. There is simply nothing to complain about. I really recommend this hotel to everyone. A little paradise on the Portofino Coast! Thank you very much.

looked all recently renovated, we got an upgrade to sea front which was absolutely stunning! the swimming pool is nice and large. a bit far from the centre but there is a easy walkway next to the water to get there in 10mins with beautiful views. would definitely recommend le cupole restaurant and its voews on the rooftop as well. especially nicolo, the concierge, was such a great help and super friendly staff overall

our toilet in the bathroom was really crooked so that was a bit of an uncomfortable sit. also the prices at the poolbar are too high, especially when in the lobby bar you get also get nuts with your cocktails and service is much better

The view from our room over the bay was lovely Breakfast was excellent with a great selection and helpful staff The spa was great with plenty of facilities The shuttle bus into town was very convenient Finally the concierge service was great with very helpful staff

The distance from Portofino

I was a bit nervous about this booking because we really wanted to be in Portofino but there was no availability. I could see this hotel was only about 10km away but wasn’t sure how easy the roads would be or what beach access would be like, especially given some of the mixed reviews. This property totally exceeded our expectations. The pool was gorgeous, the views were stunning, walking into town was very easy and from there we were able to catch a quick ferry to Portofino; once we saw how small that town was, I was glad we ended up in Rapallo!

Our room AC was a bit wonky but not terrible.
