I recently stayed at this charming little hotel and had a wonderful experience. The property is impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. Its location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. What truly sets this hotel apart is the warm and inviting family vibe — the staff make you feel right at home, going above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Great location, very close to the train station. The front desk staff made several calls to try and get dinner reservations for us as it was a busy weekend in town.

I didn't realize that breakfast was not included in the price. When we checked in, the clerk gave us all the details about the breakfast: time, location etc, but failed to tell us that it would be an extra charge. The walls are thin, we could easily hear the people next door.

The hotel's location next to the station was a godsend for my late arrival by train from Milano. It's also just a short stroll to the first mosaic church I visited the next morning, and it takes less than 10 minutes to the centre of the old town around which all the fabulous mosaic sites are located. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast generous: not only the usual croissants, but cake, fruit, yogurt, muesli, non-dairy milk alternative, cheese and charcuterie, and coffee made with a proper expresso machine! My room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. Directly opposite the hotel is a lovely restaurant that the hotel recommended. They made me dinner despite my 22:30 arrival. I highly recommend Hotel Minerva, and visiting Ravenna.

Very centrally located, right next to the station in a lovely leafy quarter of the city about ten minutes stroll from the main square. Excellent value for money - comfortable, impeccably clean. Our room even had a little balcony. A proper old fashioned - in the very best sense of that word - very Italian 'albergo'.

Maybe a more inviting breakfast area - we decided not to have breakfast simply because the area, though perfectly practical, looked a little cramped and uncomfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located a few steps from the Ravenna train station. It is a well-run family operation and there is a lot of care that goes into it. My room was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the hotel.

I found the breakfast buffet a bit basic, although everything was good and fresh. I think the hotel could also benefit from a renovation, even though everything seems to work fine and was clean.

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to the train station and it is a very close, easy walk dragging suitcases. It has a lift. Night time noise was not an issue. The hotel might not look like much from the outside but inside it is clean and bright, with up to date decor. It has a 'good feel' to it. Also an easy walk to all the main attractions in Ravenna. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room given to us was an upgrade from the one I booked so it was larger than expected. Bed was comfortable. Good supply of hot water in shower. Large bathroom. Breakfast choices were limited but that is fine by us. We enjoyed what was on offer and the coffee was good. A very good value for the price choice. There is an excellent restaurant nearby. Cross the road in front of the hotel and walk a few meters in the direction of the station to the "Osteria Il Paiolo"

The shower cubical itself could do with an upgrade but it was OK.

Lovely little traditional hotel. The room was nice and comfortable and very clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. The location is fantastic. Right next to the train station (but still really quiet) and maybe 5 minutes walk from the lovely Brancaleone castle and park. Maybe 10 minutes walk to Dante's tomb, right in the centre. Great place, loved it.

Directly by train station . Very helpful and friendly staff (Andreas called Booking.com for us to sort out a problem with next booking -Thanks! ) Very clean and old fashioned luxury ironed hand towels . Rolled down blinds and closed window kept out noise. Breakfast satisfactory selection . Elevator useful .

Mattress rather worn and uncomfortable . Area at station made us uneasy at night but felt safe in hotel

Superb location. Right outside the train station so it was really easy to get to once we got into town. The bus stop to the cruise terminal is also almost right in front of the hotel so if you're taking a cruise from the town, it's quite easy to get to. The lady at the counter was also very friendly and helpful. She helped us book a cab to the cruise terminal when the last bus was too full for us to get on. She kept calling different numbers till she got us a cab.

Nothing really. It's great value for what you're paying.

The hotel location is perfect. Close to the railway station and the many restaurants and tourist sites are walkable.

The room was spacious but the bed was hard and the pillows flat. The breakfast was basic but adequate. No toaster or hot foods provided. Tea and Coffee not provided in the room but that seems to be the case in Italy.
