We liked the renovated rooms in this vintage building. Room was spotless with a renovated bathroom and strong shower. Unfortunately the small elevator was not working during our 1 night stay. The owners of the building , I think 5 th generation, are very kind and respectful and in particular a most elegant senior woman with whom we chatted with in several occasions. This was our second time here. We love this place and it’s location, just around the corner from Trevi, a short walk to the Pantheon and lots of surrounding restaurants. It is at the end of a narrow street so relatively quiet.

I loved staying at Arpinelli Relais. Located in an old building in the heart of Rome (Trevi fountain is just around the corner!), my room (one of the several the host family offers for their guests) was very spacious, with elegant design, big comfortable bed and bathroom with all the necessary facilities. Outside the room was a very nice public area, where there was a small kitchenette with a coffee machine, tea making facilities and fridge. Wifi was excellent, there is a cute little old-style lift, and hosts and staff are there to help you if you need anything. Although the property does not offer breakfast, it is located on a cute little street, where there are plenty of cafes, pizzerias and other places to eat. Excellent place to stay in magical Rome, I will definitely be back!

Location was perfect. My husband and I walked everywhere and did not need to use the metro/ public transport other than going from and to the airport. Despite the busy location (near Trevi fountain) our room was quiet and peaceful when we wanted to nap/ sleep after a long morning/ evening of exploring. The rooms were very clean and communication was easy and the beds were comfy. Slippers and extra blankets provided in the room. We got a standard double room and still we felt the room was spacious. Very homely.

Nothing we didn't like really. The only minor thing was that the hairdryer was a little slow - so bring your own. I read one "negative" review about the room being noisy but we hadn't experienced that and also to note that if you're going to be staying in a busy area then I guess you'd expect your room to be noisy but as I mentioned above it was peaceful.

The location cannot be beat. You will not regret choosing to stay mere minutes away from the beautiful Trevi fountain. It was really a privilege to be able to see it every day and every night when we would walk to other areas of Rome. The owners were also absolutely lovely and the woman who helped us check in (our sincere apologies as we forgot her name) was incredibly helpful with all her suggestions on where to eat and places to go off the beaten tourist track. I would choose to stay here every time I come to Rome, it was that amazing! The building was beautiful and bed was also very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Rome.

For light sleepers, the noise from garbage bins being emptied in the early hours of the morning may be an issue (there are a lot of bottles clanging). The shower in our room might also have been a bit of a squeeze if you are a larger in width, but the water pressure was amazing. I am 6'3 and of an average build and fit in fine though.

This 200 yr old property is a gem and so are the people working there and especially Carlotta who was so very very kind and helpful. Richard also gave us good information and even gave us a phone adapter as ours was with our lost luggage. The Arpinelli Relais is family run and we had the privilege to meet its owner, a most elegant and sweet woman. We found everything here perfect, modern bathroom, good shower pressure, spotless and the most comfortable bed. we will definitely make this place our go to place in Rome. Also literally a 2-3 min walk to Trevi fountain, up the street and turn left👍 Also a nice communal sitting room outside personal rooms when waiting for friends.

Everything was perfect. Stayed wity my girlfriend for 3 days and we love it . We had room with balcony in the 2nd floor which was the best ever. Perfect bed, amazing bathroom. Room was very cozy ,warm and lovely From the balcony view u see the road with a lot of people walking around, 2minutes from Fontana ti trevi, which was amazing to visit after 24:00 bcz our room was very close and u can have the best photos ever. My special thanks to the guy who showed us the room the first day i dont remember his name , he was very helpful and polite.

I wanted a “vintage/antique” experience at a hotel in Rome and that’s precisely what this is! An old palace that has been converted into a hotel with cool generational history. The antique furnishings in the common areas are gorgeous! The location is perfect- very close to the Trevi fountain and Pantheon and definitely walkable to many other spots like the Spanish Steps and Colloseum area. Modern bathroom was a nice touch! The elevator was also a lifesaver on the days our feet hurt from walking all over the city!

It did get very warm and stuffy in our room at night- we were told we couldn’t turn the air down past 25 degrees Celsius- but if felt much warmer than that. we had to open our window at times in the middle of the night to get some airflow. But no screen on the window, so didn’t feel comfortable leaving it wide open all night.

Staff was very responsive and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Virtually no noise from the outside. Great location; we literally walked everywhere from here, from Vatican to the Colosseum and everywhere in between.

Not much. Could hear things from the shared space such as the coffee machine (a bit loud) and people talking at the table, but nothing that really bothered us since we were up and getting ready anyway.

Bed was very confortable. It is a busy location, but besides that (and we knew) the experience was very good! Staff was great!

The hotel was situated in the perfect location for doing all the tourist attractions. The family that own the property are very friendly and helpful. They looked after our luggage when we were leaving later and taxi organised for us. Check in was very easy and straightforward. Our room was beautiful and the hotel in general was well looked after and I'd recommend it to anyone. Best shower and bathroom I've seen in any hotel. Cleaner's were exceptional. Always clean towels and everything spotless.

Not many things to say but maybe the bed slides a little if you sit on it or move on it.
