I stayed in this cosy and conveniently located (right next to Termini Station) B&B for three nights. The room was simple and clean, the neighborhood quiet enough. Special thanks to Alessandro the host for accommodating my vegan diet for breakfast, for good conversation, and being very helpful in general. I would stay here again. Grazie mille!

No real negatives. Like other reviewers have pointed out, Rome is an expensive place to stay, but this B&B was competitively enough priced.

This is one of the nicest and most economical B&Bs, that I’ve ever stayed in in Rome. First of all there was an elevator, which made life much easier for me. Alex was extremely helpful, doing even more than necessary to make things easy for me. The room is well appointed, large, clean and had everything that I needed. There was an extra blanket for the bed, which I really appreciated when I first arrived, after having slept poorly the night before on the train. I had a very cosy and comfortable nap for a couple of hours. The bathroom also was also large and clean. The breakfast was nothing special, but quite adequate. Alex made cappuccino for me, and then an espresso. There was yogurt, fruit, juice, bread to be toasted, a selection of jams, and also some pastries, which I didn’t eat because I don’t eat eggs. It was also ham, and I believe cheese, available. Alex is very friendly and attentive to all my needs and I would gladly return there the next time I come back to Rome. Also, the B&B is very close to the train station, and right across the street from one of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in her room.

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like about B&B Alexander.

The property was clean & modern & is really well run by Alex & his wife, nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast was continental style with plenty of choice & the coffee was delicious. We stayed as a family of six so took over all three rooms, which were very comfortable,I would definitely recommend a stay here, we will definitely return!

Very friendly host. Not the most modern place, but very clean and in good condition, with all the facilities you need. One of the better places in the station area.

Quite some noise on the street at night (so beware if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that is not oriented towards the street). Breakfast choices maybe are a bit limited (but certainly ok)

The two apartments we had were very comfortable and not too far from the main train station to walk to.  There are some cafes, restaurants and convenience shops located nearby. We walked to attractions from here, including Trevi Fountain and the Colessum (if you dont mind walking 20 to 30 minutes, taking in some other sights).  Alex is a great owner/host and is easily contactable and quick to respond to queries and provides very helpful information. Good value for the money.

Had booked 2 double rooms. Alex was very attentive providing coffee and toast for breakfast, meat cheese and pastries were also available along with jams and spreads, cereals, juice and water.

One of our rooms was front facing, on one night the outside noise was very loud from people standing outside the hotel across the road.

1. location: within 5min walking distance to Termini station 2.Service: Alex was very nice and kept the room clean everyday. Overall, no other rooms can possibly be better than this considering the price.

It was litttle noisy in the streets but its a common problem for almost all bulidings in Italy since most of them are old.

it locates 5 min to Roma termini station, convenient to go to colossel and Vatican by metro, 1.5euro for 100 minutes. and there are many shops and good restaurant around the hotel, you can buy everything you need. Also there is a great Chinese food, a great Spanish food and a great Italian restaurant in 1 minutes of walking. The room is big and grand. You can feel the sense of Rome under the tall ceiling. the stuff is super warm and nice. Only thing to notice is that you need to press on the button at the gate to call them, a little difficult to find.

Alex is the most friendly and helpful host you could ask for. He makes a great cup of cappuccino and was a great help in planning our one day in Rome. The bed was very comfortable. Good location in that it is near the train station, which also put it close to the bus lines.

The shower is a little small and the A/C a little weak, but we found these things to be very common in Italy.
