I like the interior of the hostel it is very creative and I felt like I was in an action-cartoon movie. When you check out they have free option to leave the luggage if you have time until departure. Location is very good! 😊😊 The metro is very near or you can go by walk.

For someone who hears easily in the nigth during the sleep, you can hear when someone is turning in the bed, goes to the toilet, etc. For me personaly that was not the problem because when I sleep I don't hear anything but maybe for someone this could be a problem. :)

If you are a child at heart you will feel like a kid in a candy store. The whole place felt magical with every wall covered in memorabilia of comics and characters. We were surprised at the cleanliness and quality of accomodation for a hostel. We were a family of 4 so had our own ensuite bathroom which was lovely and clean and had toiletries left from other tenants. We had lots of fun playing foosball and connect 4 in the bedroom, and there was also a free retro arcade machine in the shared space where we got high scores in Pac-Man and Marvel games. We were greeted by a friendly host who gave us tips on great places to eat in the area. The place felt secure and the local area felt safe.

The images in our room were not appropriate for children and my kids were slightly scared of the huge gun in the picture and the nudity. My children are 10 and 13, so I’d ask for another room if you have younger children. I think if the rooms were swapped with another theme it would have been perfect. The bed was what you would expect of a hostel, quite soft and well used.

Great location, 2 mins from metro and easy to reach Vatican, piazza del Popolo on foot. Several supermarkets in 10 mins around. Bathroom is spacious, great kitchen. Pretty clean given 6 people in the room who are constantly changing. Easy check-in and out, possible to leave luggage before depature.

The room is not self-locked, creating sense of open house. The bed is not really comfy, creating squeaky sound if anyone is turning. To use shower you need to get used to it, hot water could be unstable in the beginning.

The hostel is super clean and quite, besides of having the most interesting decoration of all hostels I've been. You have a key for your room, inside there is lockers with their own key as well and in the living room there is TV and a couch to chill. The staff was SUPER helpful, they let me leave my wet clothes there after the check-out without any problem 💕 The location is perfect, you have metro nearby and a bus station to principal bus/train terminal too. You can walk to the historic center in 30 minutes and Vatican too. I'd definitely recommend it and will come back next time I am in Rome!

As soon as you walk into this place, you will find very unique decor and ambience. Other first impressions were that the place was clean and this was maintained throughout the entire stay. The kitchen had many appliances which you could use just in case you would want to eat in. Our bedroom and bathroom were quite spacious and similarly to the common area, they were very clean. The owner Stefano was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He was like this from the check in till the end of our stay, where we ran through some issues unrelated to this guesthouse and he still made an effort to help us. The location is also very convenient since it is around 3 minutes away from a metro station. Overall, I highly recommend considering your stay in this guesthouse, which only reaps positive reviews from my experience.

- Great location , we walked to all of the typical rome attractions, but there is a bus/metro around the corner for those who aren't into long walks - Great place for children with the comics theme, and the PS4 / arcade machine. - Great free espresso machine - Common kitchen really came in handy

- We didn't realize that the private bathroom for the family room was external ( down the hall ) . No fault of the owners, but we just didn't read the description closely enough. It was a bit inconvenient to walk through the common areas when the kids had to go to the washroom in the night. This is just the case with the Batman room. Other family rooms have an attached private bathroom - The shower wasn't great ( poor pressure and hard to get to a comfortable temperature that wasn't either scolding hot to freezing cold )

We enjoyed our stay at the Comics Guesthouse very much. We were welcomed warmly. The decoration is amazing! We could play free retro videogames, the ones of my youth😀 but that my son enjoyes as well. Cozy place, we felt at home, comfy and helped with what we needed. I definitely recommend it for a short stay.

Nothing really. True, there is a bit of a walk to some of the main attractions but one has to realize this when booking so no fuss (and the metro is two minutes away). On top, the Vatican and Castel Santangelo are very close nearby.

The location is great, at walking distance from Vatican and near metro station Line A on the quiet street. Hostel manager reacted to our requests and questions at any time, always ready to help. Clean and beautiful room, design is gorgeous! Kids were excited! Clean towels and linens, lots of space for clothes. Lockers are a great option if you want to check out later. There is iron, ironing board and a fan. Air conditioner is working. The bathroom is clean, it has good ventilation and hot water. Shampoo, shower gel, soap are available. In the kitchen you have everything for cooking even including coffee machine, microwave, washing machine and even container with ice.

The place is so cool. We wanted the Batman room (it is the one with separate private bathroom). We didn't mind that the bathroom was not in the room as we had a key, and also we only stayed 2 nights. You can play at the arcade game in the hallway, kids loved it. I think it also has a playstation. The place is clean, the owner super amabile, speaks English. We forgot the tablet in the room and he arranged for us a courier to be sent in our country! We didn't use the kitchen so much but I saw it had everything you need to cook and also some coffee machines. It is close to a metro station and a supermarket. We liked the place, we will come back.

The decor is over-the-top (in a good way), and has so much character and joy in it. The staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. This was the best price on a hostel that I had in Rome, and it was by far the best. The bed was exceptionally comfortable for a hostel (best sleep I’ve had in this city yet!), and the facilities were really clean in all common and private spaces. I also appreciated little aspects (lockers with a key included, a full length mirror on the bedroom wall, a pre-made bed with sheets and a full duvet (Batman cover, of course!), the espresso available all the time in the kitchen, etc). Overall, the best facilities and value in Roman hostels so far.

There really isn’t much that I didn’t enjoy. the location looks daunting to get to if you’ve never been to the city, but it’s actually quite easy using the metro line from Termini station, and the hostel is really close to the subway stop. And the neighborhood is really great.
