Extremely friendly staff, who could not have done more to make us feel comfortable. We were able to drop off our bags before check in, check out at 4 am on the day of departure, and were provided with a takeaway breakfast. The room was comfortable and cleaned each day. The hotel felt very secure, and was a quiet oasis in a busy city. The location was outstanding, and we were able to walk all major sites within 30 minutes. Would highly recommend.

Taxi was booked through the hotel for 4am departure but did not arrive (possibly the fault of the taxi firm). However, due to good location, even in the early hours, we were able to flag down a taxi within minutes.

We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. I gave our stay a 5 star rating. History suite offers the perfect location, within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. Excellent service by David, who has an amazing team helping him with the running of his business. Breakfast menu and choices really good, room cleaned daily, excellent attention to detail - Aia looked after us all at breakfast and she always made us feel at home - I can't recommend enough 😊

Nothing that we didn't like - all was of really good quality and high standards.

The staff, Aya, & owner, David, were great to work with. Breakfasts were very simple, but plenty to start out your day. The location is perfect for Center Rome making it walkable for the “touristy” places to visit . Enjoyed the ability to have a quaint patio area for a small gathering of the 3 friends I happened to be traveling with each evening. The rooms were spacious with the typical toiletries, hair dryer & small safe & mini refrigerator. Just a lovely quaint place to stay for a quick trip to Rome Center.

patio has no view, but when there you understand why and don’t expect it to look like the website picture at all, but is functional anyway.

Staff were exceptional. Very friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for us. Location of History Suites was fantastic - walking distance to sites such as Pantheon and Colosseum. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and shops in surrounding streets. We used the airport pick up service when we arrived, which was great as front entrance of hotel was a bit tricky to find. Breakfast was very filling and good quality of food. We had breakfast in our room each morning as eating area was quite small. Service was excellent.

Room could have benefitted from a little more storage. Shower was temperamental and water pressure and temperature were both inconsistent.

what a great location for walking to the trevi fountain and the colosseum we where a family of 5 2 adults and 3 children 13yr 11yr 05yrs and they managed it with ease because there’s so much to look at and do on the way. The lady doing breakfast is excellent she and couldn’t have done more for us the boys where impressed with coco pops and we loved the croissants, this is an amazing place to stay the family room has ample space and we never felt on top of each other. we will definitely be returning soon. thanks for making my families experience of Rome amazing!

The water pressure on the sink wasn’t great but the shower was excellent so couldn’t really moan about it.

Our stay at History Suite exceeded ALL expectations! The location was terrific. Walking distance from all the popular attractions (like 15 min walk to the Coliseum). They sent us SUPER CLEAR instructions in advance so coming in after a long flight, we could get into our room within minutes. The room was clean comfortable and nicely warmed up. We returned to a tidy and clean room and fresh towels every day. The staff was so nice and helpful and went out of their way to find ways to make our stay comfortable. Thank you, David!!

The staff is kind and friendly. The location Is perfect and the room is spacious and nice , however The bed is really soft. The breakfast is really good.(even if the breakfast has to be scheduled, the director was very nice to accept the breakfast at 7:30 instead of 7:45 as we had a guide tour in the very early morning)

The terrace outside was replaced by working in progress from the building. Same for the window view of room 3.this is not a big deal , however it is fair to know in advance.....

The Manager and breakfast lady are very welcoming and polite, they did their best to make us feel comfortable. They satisfied all our requests. The hotel is clean, bed is comfortable, the room is quiet in spite of the fact, that it is on a main street. The hotel is in a good location, it is within walking distance of the main sights. Bus stops are near, should you want to venture further afield. There is also a taxi stand across the piazza, which comes in handy,. In the vicinity there is a food store, on same block, good coffee shops and a fresh pasta restaurant, which we recommend. We will definitely be returning to this hotel next time in Rome!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were also flexible on several little things like us checking out a bit late. We could leave our suitcases in a safe locker and get them with our own key at our convenience later in the day which was appreciated.

There was a bit of confusion on the breakfast timing, but in the end we still got breakfast. We also had to call the phone number to access the apartment, so ideally give an exact arrival time and specify if you don't have internet or a local phone to ensure that somebody is at the reception
