The rooms were very clean and so were the sheets and towels..No breakfast but they provided a kettle which enabled us to have our breakfasts in the privacy of our rooms with what we had brought on the first day and also bought at the mercato for the following days. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which we enjoyed. We were given airy, sunny upper floor rooms as we had requested in advance. Vatican City and Museum were within walking distance, and so were the other prominent museums, though a bit farther. The staff did their best to provide info for all kinds of enquiries. No need for a taxi to reach the hotel from San Pietro Station.

Walking uphill from the station with suitcases was quite exhausting, especially after a long, nervebreaking trip from the airport because there was a strike on the day we arrived. Transportation facilities were limited. ıt took us too long to reach the hotel. Quite nerve-breaking. Taking a taxi from Roma Termini would be more advisable on arrival and departure if you have suitcases,

I absolutely loved the location because it is close to Vatican City and a bus and train line. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful when I asked questions about the places I was going to visit in Rome. As I’m writing this review, I am max at myself that my memory is not working and I can’t specifically remember the staff names. However, I want to reiterate how helpful they were to me and my niece. I will definitely recommend this hotel. I also loved walking up the 91 stairs to get to the top from the bottom of the street. I exercise regularly and used those stairs as part of my exercise regiment while there.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

Nice, tiny hotel on a side street in an unexpectedly quiet and I think safe corner of the city just aside the Vatican. Reasonably connected during daytime by train railway and buses at walking distance, however beware that you need to climb up and downhil to reach the hotel by foot. Not very modern but lovely room with small fridge and a tiny bathroom in my case, reachable through a lift. Nice, freely available terrace with views. This hotel has a 24/7 doorman service, handling room keys and security.

I believe they don't have a car park. The location is very central but public transportation is scarce, and climbing uphill by foot can be tiring unless you're young.

The location was accessible to train stations and we were able to walk (we are hikers) to main tourist spots including Basilica etc. Nice rooftop to have an overlooking view of the city amidst the busy location. Bedroom and bathroom was pretty fair and you can tell they clean them. There was a nice local coffee shop walking distance to it that serve really good coffee and pastries where we almost everyday dropped by for a quick breakfast before we head out for our day tour.

side streets not the cleanest

Location to Vatican, grocery store and Main Street was good. Staff helped getting taxis at departure. Nice view from balcony and were able to accommodate 5 in 1 room comfortably

Staff was not so friendly at check in and at night. They seemed bothered by questions. Cleaning lady was Very nice. Location not easy to get to as you have to go up to a very steep hill to get to it. Or thru a serious amount of steps to get there from the other side. Couldn’t get Uber to pick up in front of hotel. Taxis did go up hill.

Nice place within a mostly residential district, near to a railway station and busses. Friendly staff, quiet on the whole, smallish room but enough space for one. A bit weird that the bathroom door could not entirely open due to the facilities.... How does that get passed by building inspectors? No complaint, it has all you want from a hotel room, even a balcony.

What I did not like was the sound of an air-conditioner machine on the roof on the abandoned or at least not in use building opposite my room. Now I know some people are not bothered about it at all but I live and have lived in quiet places and find noises like that disturbing during the night.

Cleaningness was great. Staff was very good. Roomas are spacious

The hotel is located at the top of a small hill, you will need to walk 500 m uphill to get there or take a taxi. No restaurant in the propperty, only coffee machines.

Clean and nice place.

A bit far from the city to walk and taxis didn’t like taking us back as it wasn’t far enough for them. We had one taxi driver faking his engine dying because he didn’t want to take us there. This is no big deal if you like the walk. I was traveling with someone who couldn’t walk that much.

Room was comfy, bed was comfy, location was close to San Pietro station, lots of ways to get to center of Roma, relatively close to eating options

It was a bit further from restaurants than I was expecting

Small and friendly . Nice comfortable room. Lovely views from rooftop terrace. & Location to the Vatican . reception staff very friendly & helpful.

Room 3 & 4 are to close to reception with people arriving early ours of the night with no respect that they are standing beside your rooms whilst trying to sleep. although this is not the hotels fault and they did offer to change our room.
