Perfect location from the train station & Metro. The paintings on the bedroom ceilings are amazing, And probably has the smallest lift in the world which makes it quit snug with two people in it.

We had to cheque out around 5am nobody was about hung around for 5 minuets or more. We had a coach to catch back to the airport so your on minuets. Only problem was we needed to pay for some drinks we had the night before and it was late at that time. So paying for them in the morning was not going to be a problem. Could not hang about the next morning so we put the key on the desk and left. They did Email us for payment which is fine. I would not hold it against them for this, I'm one of those people who has to have everything in place and settled if i owe somebody i like to pay up.

This was my second stay at this charming hotel. The location is easy walking distance from Roma Termini. From here we have walked allover Rome. The hotel is a quirky, older building with great character and fantastic staff. Breakfast is excellent. Has a jug in the room for tea and coffee. Very much appreciated. Love the frescoes!

Not a problem, and would not stop me staying again, but our room this time was smaller and was a little difficult to accommodate two large bags. Our previous room had been bigger.

The hotel was very clean, and the bathroom was modern and well-equipped. The room was small in the area where the beds were. I couldn’t roll my suitcase to my side of the room, because the space between bed and fridge wasn’t wide enough. There was space in the entry hall with a desk, so the square footage was there, but not well arranged. The breakfast was better than expected with scrambled eggs, bacon, an additional type of egg (sunny side up oneday and boiled eggs another, yogurt, rolls, fruit, cereal, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, pancakes you can prepare fresh, and a coffe machine with coffee, latte, cappuccino, etc. The staff was always helpful to give information or calla taxi for us. We didn’t use their taxi plan to airport as they wanted us to take a larger vehicle for 90 Euros instead of the 60 Euro cab. We ordered a cab and there was sufficient space in the trunk for two large suitcases and two carry-on. The cab was 55 Euro to FCO airport. The area had several small restaurants and a couple of souvenir shops that were open on Sunday we didn’t have time to explore on a weekday. We stayed for two days after a cruise to see a bit of the city. We had no complaints about the hotel and found it to be adequate for the price. The elevator is extremely small—one person with luggage.

We enjoyed staying at the Amalfi Hotel. First and foremost the location of this property is amazing , right I front of Santa Maria Maggiore and the square , surrounded by many coffee shops and restaurants, great food options. Hotel is a very old and historic place, very small rooms and bathrooms , but so clean and offers all amenities. You can tell it’s been In The family for many years and they take care of their place really well, they put their heart and soul in making sure guests are taken care of. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were quite good as well for an additional cost , but great!

Tiny hotel in UNESCO heritage building in a fantastic location. We could see the beautiful basilica santa maria maggiore from the roof of the building. Conveniently located near many beautiful churches, restaurants and shops, as well as a short walk from the train station Roma Termini. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They kept our bags for us at no charge after we checked out. The breakfast was great value for money - a good spread of hot and cold foods and helpful staff at the buffet too. Room was tiny and the bathroom tinier, but we didn't mind that for our short stay. The Roman mosaic at the entrance and the murals throughout the building - including on the ceiling of our room was a lovely unique touch.

Really charming. Very helpful, friendly staff. Convenient location. Not far from Roma Termini but felt very safe. Comfortable, pleasant memorable room. Room 209 with lovely view of Santa Maria Maggiore from the window (side view). Appropriate traditional artistic flair throughout. Some really charming restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again without hesitation.

The ultra modern shower equipment (which works really well) intrudes well onto the shower cubicle and may not suit a larger frame person.

It is compact and nice hotel, close to good places for breakfast and supper, termini, metro, 15 min walk to colosseum, it has terrace and nice view from the 5th floor, you can check out very early by just leaving the key. We did not use the breakfast at the hotel so I cannot rate it. The staff is very friendly and polite. The beds are very comfortable.

Roma tax information is not updated anywhere. On the wall in the room the tax information was outdated. It was increased to 6 euro per night per person for 3 star hotel since January 2024. I think it would be fair to update it.

This is a very nice, small hotel in great location, just a few minutes from Termini station. The staff is great and takes good care of their guests. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, you will find any type of food you like. I particularly liked the fact that you can easily walk to many main tourist attractions from the hotel.

The hotel is quite small, so the rooms are not too spacious but if you're travelling solo or as a couple, you should be fine. Also, the level of comfort may depend on who is staying in the room next to yours because the walls are quite thin and noise travels easily.

Loved how unique hotel was. Painted ceilings were fantastic Great location within walking distance of some of the key sights to see and to railway station Breakfast was great. Small eating area which you needed to prebook which wasn't a problem. Good selection of food Roof top seating was a nice place to chill out after a long day. If you hit lucky like us will have it all to yourselves

Very small lift so be aware if you're a little claustrophobic

It’s location was sensational the view in the pic is nothing like the view to the alley you actually get if you lean out off the roof top sitting area you can see the basilica. The add board on the basilica is atrocious but nothing to do with the hotel.

There all day pancakes aren’t available all day when you want to start your day before the 7am time that breakfast service starts.
