My husband and I stayed at Hotel Giubileo for 10 nights and thought it was wonderful. It was well within walking distance of pretty much all of the major sites that you would want to see, Vatican, Colosseum. Pantheon , Trevi fountain. There was a hop on hop off buss location close to the hotel as well. The hotel was a wonderful old hotel with beautiful features, it was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic, thank you to Umberto for the wonderful Cappuccino made fresh each morning for us and thank you Alina ( I hope I remember that right) for taking care of us and our room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice hotel in the city center.

We loved it all, no complaints!

The staff was exceptional, very friendly and helpful. They prepared our room before the usual check in time, because our flight arrived early. They gave us breakfast the first day, before our check in, which has a very nice variety of things to eat and drink. They also stored our stuff after the check out, so we could take them late at night. The room was comfortable and clean. It is located four minutes away from the train station (Roma Termini) and all the attractions are easily accessible by foot, except for the Vatican, which is about an hour away by foot. Everything is great about this hotel, our stay was perfect!

The hotels location is very central, we could visit almost everything we wanted by foot. The room was small but cozy with a seperate bathroom, it had everything we needed, there is AC (which we didnt use bc it wasnt too cold or hot at the time) and even a small fridge. They breakfast was good, they had some bread with sausage and cheese and other sweet toppings, fruits, coffee and some juices, everything you need for a good start to the day. The best thing about the hotel was by far the exceptional staff. They were all very friendly and polite, they helped us when we had questions about the city or our trip, they always made us have delicious cappuccino or even freshly made scrambled eggs for breakfast, they made our trip a little bit extra special!

The hotel is located in an old building, so the facilites might not be the most modern and sometimes it got a little noisy because it hasnt the best soundproofed walls

The service was excellent, people at the reception were very nice and helped us with the questions we asked them, there was always someone to turn to. It was necessary to leave a key at the reception, but in my opinion it is quite easy and there is no need to worry about the key because it is in a safe place.

In our opinion, another bin is missing besides the toilet, because a situation arose where we took a bag so that we had another bin besides the toilet to throw more things. At first we were given a room in which the air conditioner did not work, after one night they changed us to a new room and gave us the best feeling.

The staff was friendly and unfailingly helpful. Julia in particular was a standout--we were always happy and reassured to see her on duty. And her terrific, amazing, varied breakfasts were a real highlight, not only for our children (who *loved* them) but also for the parents. The location is also excellent--close to Termini station and Metro stops, yet not too close; on an unusually tree-lined street; easy walks to many of the Rome sights. And there was little street noise in the room, esp. after we turned up the fan on the air conditioner (which worked well). The rooms (we needed two for our family) were pretty and had character.

One of our rooms was quite a tight fit; some more space would have been nice. But it was workable.

The hotel had a lovely, romantic atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We appreciated the 24h check-in, as we arrived in the middle of the night. Breakfast was pleasant, they made a nice cappuccino, and my husband was happy with the eggs and bacon. The room was good, it was as advertised. All the facilities worked, although the AC was quite loud. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and you can't beat the location.

Our only complaint was with the mattress. It was quite stiff if you aren't used to firm spring mattresses. They did have extra pillows and blankets in the room, so we used those to make it more comfortable.

The location was excellent. So close to the Center, the bus station, metro, Colosseum, and restaurants. Really liked the breakfast, and loved the staff! The staff makes this place. From the older gentleman who assisted my daughter in locating her retainer that she inadvertently threw out, to Julia who gave us endless advice from where the supermarket was, sights to see, to booking our tours for us! So friendly, so accommodating, letting us bring breakfast to our teenage kids who were feeling unwell from all the traveling. Loved the blackout curtains.

This hotel is not for guests with mobility issues as there are many stairs and no elevator. You have to like charming and unusual over modern and new. The owner is a little rough around the edges but the staff makes up for it.

The location was excellent, very close to Santa Maria Maggiore and at about 15 minutes on foot from the Colosseum. The building is old and full of charm. It has a big lounge area at the first floor with lovely old furniture. The room was reasonably sized for the price and location and it was clean. The breakfast was basic, but sufficient. All in all we considered good value for money.

We had such a brilliant time in Rome and Giubileo was the best place to stay - we feel we really lucked out to have found this hotel! The location is just perfect - you can walk to loads of places from here, plus the metro is near. It's also near Termini so there's no drama when you first get into Rome. There were great places to eat nearby too - we liked La Vecchia Conca. Giulia could not have been kinder or more helpful - we were two families arriving from different places and she made sure our rooms were close, and went the extra mile to rearrange the beds for my kids. The breakfasts were great - the kids all loved them too. Everything was clean and comfortable - the air-con was needed as we were there in the heatwave! We were lucky enough to have a fab view onto the street. Can't really fault anything. Thank you Giulia!

It was all good!

- Very good location near Termini Station. - Beds are comfortable (personal feedback, as everyone likes the softness/hardness of the mattress differently). - Cleanliness. Towels were changed daily. - Kettle, cups and tea! - Good wifi. - Nice staff. - Good value for money. Especially if you travel all day and come "home" to spend the night. - Air conditioner - we warmed up the room, but without the air conditioner it would not have been cold. There were several blankets in the closet. - As far as I’ve been in similar hotels, a common problem was that when you showered, the water flowed through the bottom of the shower, and as a result, you had to put a towel on the floor. I want to praise the hotel - there was no such problem here! The floor was dry after the shower.

In fact, I wouldn’t even have much to comment on, especially when it’s not a 5-star hotel. But I will write things that would be good to know before booking it or would be easy to fix. - The hotel provides shower gel, shampoo and the like, I personally lacked hand soap in the bathroom. Especially when we live in covid times. But the shower gel did the soap function perfectly :) - You need to wait a few minutes for the warm water to start running. - I was missing a trash can in the room. Because the garbage can in the bathroom was small and quickly filled up. But the rooms were tidied up every day, so I didn’t see a big problem.
