The hotel has character, beds are very comfortable which is so important after long walking and lots of visiting in Rome, each day. We had a spacious room, with a large bathroom, every day cleaning with fresh towels. Loved the coffee machine in the room and the inner courtyard terrace. Breakfast was really nice, good choice of hot or cold food, fruits, and cakes every day. Great location to get to everywhere by train, walking or by taxi.

Nothing I can think of. This is a hotel that may need some carpet work in the hallways, but given the size of it and its history, and current purpose, it won’t make a huge difference. Its location is great, and having a room facing the inner courtyard made such a difference for 7 good nights of sleep!

We had a free upgrade of the room, it was quite nice. We stayed in their suite. It's a decent hotel and the location is great as you can walk pretty much everywhere.

The staff try to sell everything- restaurant, bar, room's upgrade which sometimes it's a bit too much but understandable.

First of all, Purpose of travel was more on Visiting the Holy See. Location was perfect for us, since the subway station is just across the street, Tram Station is just right outside the Hotel and Termini Station is just one station away. Basilica of Mary Major, San Giovani Laterano and Basilica San Croce were 13-15 Minutes walk. Basilica Vaticano is 8 Stops away from Manzoni Station. Coloseum is just 3 Stops away with Bus from across the Hotel. Breakfast everyday is also good, although its the same foods everyday. Grocery store is also just 3 Minutes walk from the Hotel. Overall, we are Satisfied with the price and for 6 days Stay its a good catch.

This is not feedback on the hotel itself more an FYI for those looking to stay here - the hotel is a good 15-20 minute walk to the collesseum, and 30 -40 from other attractions, this was fine for us as we like to walk but might not be everyone's cup of tea.

During our stay at the hotel, we booked a double room on the second floor, room number 221, for myself and my husband from 08th July to 12th July 2024. We were impressed by the hotel's exceptional communication, as they followed up with messages throughout the booking process, and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. The staff spoke English, which made communication smooth and easy. Additionally, we were given a city map and recommendations for sights and food, which were very helpful. The A/C room was clean and tidy, and we particularly appreciated the security safe, which allowed us to store our valuables securely. This was important to us, as we were concerned about pickpockets and scammers in Rome. The bath tub was a nice touch, providing a relaxing way to unwind after enduring the 36-38°C temperatures outside. The room had both hot and cold water, and there was one available. Toiletries, a hair dryer, and adequate towels were provided, and the daily room service was exceptional. Special thanks to the lovely lady who cleaned our room. The mini bar in the small fridge had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as small snacks (additional charge for usage). We also appreciated the tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and kettle in the room, with unlimited replenishments. The room size was perfect for two people, and the hotel's lift made it easy to carry our luggage to the second floor. Contrary to some reviews we had read, we found the breakfast buffet to have a wide variety of options. The food was attractively presented, delicious, and seemed clean and safe. Breakfast was available from 7am to 10am, and we found it convenient to return for breakfast after starting our travels early in the morning. The hotel's restaurant area with a bar was a romantic and relaxing spot. Although we are non-alcoholic, the bar staff made lovely mojitos and mocktails for us.

There were a few minor points that could be improved. It would be nice to have toothpaste, bathrobes (available on paid request), and an iron in the room, although we didn't ask for one. We requested a double bed but received two single beds joined together. This wasn't a problem for us, and I'm sure the hotel would have accommodated if we had asked. As mentioned in some reviews, there was some noise from outside trams and next door water sounds. However, it didn’t affect our sleep. Also it will be easier if they mention all the names infront of each and every breakfast items ( They had mentioned some, but sometimes we seeked the staff support as we are new to Italian breakfast items and their support was appreciated a lot😊)

The location is great: 18 minutes by foot to the Colosseum, next to the linea A metro station and tram and bus stops. The room was large and comfortable and with a proper desk, so I could work in the mornings before sightseeing. The breakfast table included different types of cakes and pastry from their own kitchen, which were really very tasty (and there were some different things also every morning). And there was a very cosy restaurant nearby where we ended up eating every evening.

The hotel's own restaurant is tiny, we wanted to eat there once, but couldn't have a table without reservation. Also, I was astonished that I was asked to write my credit card number in a paper form as a guarantee (because there was a mini-bar in a room?) - I wonder, what are their protocols for processing and storing personal data ...

The breakfast and staff that managed it were excellent. The seating area was upscale and food selection good. The day we had a very early tour we were able to get a bagged breakfast to go. The reception staff was very helpful in checking us in ,calling taxi's and providing directions The location to the main termini was a nice 15 min. walk or the subway is just outside the door of the hotel. Nice restaurants are just down the block. We didn't use the hotel restaurant or spa services, no particular reason. .There was also a nice outdoor seating area in the inner perimeter of the hotel, for visiting or reading. Walkable to the coliseum, 25 min

No fault of the hotel, we wished the A/C could have been cooler. They were have some issues with it. MID August with high temp as and humidity, us Minnesotans appreciate it being more cooler. We also had encountered hotel with a set low point for the AC

Hotel Milton has great location. Five minutes walk is the Coloseum. Near Coloseum you can directly go to Piazza Venezia, Forum.. Everything is walkable, in the circle of 30 minutes walk. Across hotel is metro station Manzoni. This is very easy way of transport to the city but I recomend going everywhere by foot. I recomend to everyone to rent a bike (Bici Baci is called) and you rent a bike for 15e whole day! Also, for the first day we choose Bus Hop Off. Red bus. 26e per person. You can drive throw the city in 24h. I also recommend going to Villa Borgese lake, and also Bioparc Rome which is 10 minutes walk from that lake. Two size tiramisu is great. Food in the city for me personally is expensive (from 15e to 30e for pasta) Airport bus to the city we paid 9e.

Breakfast could be better. I ate all five days exactly the same: eggs, bacon and tomato. Maybe to add some nice pica slices, or mini sandwiches…But overall I am super happy about hotel and for sure I’l be back here! 🫶🏻

The location is excellent, right next to the metro and bus stop. You’re fairly close to the Colosseum, but you don’t experience any of the hustle and bustle from there. The room was clean upon arrival and was well-maintained daily. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, with a decent variety of choices that are continuously replenished. Only the sweet pastries were a bit on the dry side. All in all, it’s a great base if you’re staying in Rome for a few days and plan to be out and about a lot.

In the room, I missed having a full-length mirror; there was only a bathroom mirror. There was also a light under the bathroom door that we couldn’t turn off. I assume it was for safety reasons, as the bathroom had a step, but at night the light was a bit too bright.

The photos of the the property do not do it justice for how lovely it is inside. We stayed here for 5 nights and had an excellent stay! The hotel was kind enough to give us a complimentary upgrade and the additional space in the room made such a difference to our stay. Every staff member we encountered was extremely kind and helpful, and the housekeeping staff were quick, efficient, and very thorough. We went to the bar most nights for a drink and the manager, Alessandro, was so much fun to talk to and makes an excellent hugo spritz! The hotel was fantastic value for money - especially with breakfast included. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Rome!
