It's close to metro for termini. 10-15 walk to the colosseum.. room was clean. This guest house is perfect for visiting Rome on a budget. Just to be warned, it's not a B&B, so no breakfast, which didn't bother us.

Only down side was the water pressure in our shower. ok, if you like cold, but warm or hot was very slow.. this has nothing to do with B&B, but local pavements/sidewalks are poor, Local trees are coming through, making it difficult to walk with cases or any disabled devices.

I was with my family in a ground floor apartment for 6 days. The location is very good, 20 minutes from the Colosseum, San Giovanni in Laterano and the Baths of Caracalla. The metro station is a stone's throw away. The building is old but refurbished, with a courtyard and breakfast gazebo. The room available has a very high ceiling, a window with shutters, it remains very cool even when the day is hot. The room was cleaned and tidied up flawlessly every day.

There is no possibility to cook, you can use a shared refrigerator placed outside the room, as well as for cutlery. The affordable cost considering its location compensates for this disadvantage. It must be considered that there is a school nearby so during the school year perhaps you have to take into account the noises of the students. At first glance, the street in front of the building is not very beautiful, but it seemed to me very little traffic and therefore quiet. After all, the few negative points didn't bother me at all and therefore my stay was pleasant.

The room was comfortable, quite and cosy. The location was perfect with nearest metro station Manzoni and bus stops like Manzone and Conte verde. Breakfast was good but very boring, as every day same type of breakfast was served. So I recommend do change daily menu for the breakfast. As the property name also Bed & Breakfast, some variation in the breakfast memu is recommended. The garden area and breafast area was very good. The garden area provided homely feeling specialy for the kids. The staff was very nice and friendly and provided all the necessary help during our entire stay.

Same type of breakfast every day was disspointing.

The location is.perfect, you can walk to metro and can reach anywhere else you want. The rooms and the hotel common areas and garden are really clean. You can reach restaurants, bars, common areas etc by walking.

We have ordered double bed on booking but we had two single beds side by side on a double frame which is not comfortable.for couples. You can not come closer or sleep cuddling, (the bed is getting separated)

Property is well equiped with everything one shall need, however, cooking is forbidden at the premises. It has a nice yard in the back where you can rest. The location allows for easy travel all across Rome and is 15 minutes walk off Coloseum. Our host, Francesco, was really awesome. We had a good talk and he showed us multiple locations in the town where we can eat and drink.

The only thing(s) we disliked are thin walls. You can hear most of what your neighbor does.

Everything was great. All our questions were answered patiently. Moreover, in Rome it is a problem to order a taxi. After our unsuccessful attempts to contact the taxi operator company, a nice employee wrote down on a piece of paper what we needed and in the morning a taxi was at our service. On our next visit we will certainly consider this option as a priority.

Perhaps there is no such thing. There is nothing to complain about, and there is no desire :)

Mrs. Dainela was very kind and jovial, it was very pleasant to talk with hear. The room is very clean. The interior court where breakfast is served is very nice. The area is very nice and felt safe.

The wifi signal was very poor most of the time, so I had problems using internet connection. In some days even the telephony signal was poor. The gas cooker in the kitchen could not be used, there is a paper note on it saying "it is forbidden to cook" The breakfast has only sweets, like croissant, biscuits, jam, juice, tea. Would be nice to include also salted food like cheese, ham, salami, etc. The water radiator did function only between 18:30 and 23:30 - though this could not be the guest fault but the Rome's regulations for the energy crisis measures.

My stay at Gioia Guest House in Rome was quite enjoyable overall. The location was superb, with easy access to the Colosseum and Termini also from the location of the house to the metro line. The room was clean and well maintained and the staff was very friendly .

From the property I didn’t like the Wi-Fi. As it was unreliable and frequently disconnecting which was a bit inconvenient.

The room is really nice, well furnished and the high ceiling probably helps to keep the heat bearable in summer:-) The property's backyard adjoins a secondary school, therefore by the time some noise could be heard, we were already up (after 8 am) and clearly in the afternoon everything was quiet again. Furthermore, the B&B is located in a convenient spot, at a stone's throw from a tube's stop and with several dining options within a short walk distance. The owner is a kind and helpful guy and the lady who prepares the brekky is absolutely delightful!

Some remarks could be made in relation to the breakfast: I know that (we) Italian folks are not renowned for our love for breakfast (cappuccino e cornetto cannot be considered a healthy start in the morning). However, I think a savoury option (a bun/white loaf) would be appreciated, in addition to the sweet (brioche+nutella+marmelade). The breakfast room is a bit tiny, therefore when the guests are all there, it is a bit "squeezed". But it is a really nice pavilion, closed on all sides, with a view into the little garden. We couldn't really complain!

I appreciated the very nice staff of this family runed b&b. Many thanks to Filippo and his mom also to mrs Vera that made my stay just as I was at home. The proximity to metro and attractions that can be reached easily by foot or public transport. The room had a balcony from where you have access to the patio and breakfast area. You can use the electric kettle and microwaves and kitchen stuff.

Just to say something: the wifi signal must be improved as in my room it was very low.
