It was close to the Vatican but you can also walk to other monuments. It’s close to metro and also near a bus stop to Fiumucino Airport. Breakfast is include and it’s really good.

Great location. Clean and tidy with very pleasant staff too. Accommodated our late check-in and also arranged airport transfers too. Also, very efficient at communicating with the Booking messaging laptop too. Overall, can't really complain and enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Would probably look at staying on the other side of the river next time where there is more bars and restaurants and activity etc

Breakfast hot food was questionable with rubber frankfurter sausages, microwaved scrambled eggs and ham like bacon which tasted off on the first morning so skipped that until the following day. Could have done with a few boxed cereal options like muesli etc. Very good location, but felt that it was slightly on the more expensive side compared to other options in the area

Very friendly service. Great location. Cosy cafes and restaurants in the surrounding quarters. Unfortunately we were not able to use the rooftop, just briefly, because of rain and cold. It was nice anyway.

We heard normal speech from the corridor when staying in our room. A more isolated door would have been nice. The toilet didn't work well.

It may look like you are walking into a hotel that hasn’t been renovated in a while but don’t judge the book by it’s cover. As you go up the vintage elevator to the 4th floor everything changes. The reception and the rooms all have been renovated. The rooms are spacious and modern with comfortable beds and great looking bathroom. We stayed in Italy for 17 Days and this Hotel had the best A/C unit. It worked so well that the room got cold in just minutes (very rare in Italy at least in my experience). The staff were super friendly and helpful at all times from the Guy waiting at the Lobby to the cleaning crew.

It’s not that I didn’t like it but the breakfast area was very small to accommodate guest but they tried their best for sure knowing that it’s an older building. If you can’t find spot there is a Cafe 2 mins away and not expensive. Just in case. Our room did not have a “Do Not Disturb” door sign so maybe adding one will be helpful.

The staff at this property was professional and friendly and the room was extremely clean, comfortable and with most-up-to-date features! You can also have a drink on the roof bar with a relaxing view! The only disappointing thing was that we have had the same bottle of shampoo for all the 3 days that we stayed,they didn’t provide us with any more.However,they made up the room every day and they replaced our towels as well.The location was great in a quiet and posh area, with many nice restaurants near by and the most important thing is that the hotel is just a few minutes away from the Vatican! Overall, we have had a great experience at the Hotel Relais de Papi, it was a good value for money.

The fact that they didn’t provide us with any more shampoo/shower bottles.Just a single bottle for a 3 nights stay,it’s quite disappointing.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was fantastic, really easy to get to wherever we needed to go. They were able to store our bags for us for a few hours on our departure day and the rooftop bar was a real bonus.

The toilet seat was loose and the air conditioning was a bit flakey - turned off a couple of times in the night. When it was working though it was great. Oh there was a screw missing from the inner door handle in the bathroom too, noticed it on the last day, didn't really effect anything but caused the handle to flap around and suggests they may need to inspect their rooms a bit more carefully

Charming family room that was a perfect set up for our family of 4. Staff was fabulous. The included breakfast each morning was just enough to tide you over to lunch . Location was walking distance to Vatican and a Metro stop for easy transfer to most other locations you might want to visit where you don’t want to walk longer distances.

Breakfast room was small so it can get crowded at times. Old fashioned elevator so some people may complain about tight quarters and the fact that only one person at a time can fit with luggage. But it’s part of the charm of the place!

Perfect location with easy access (within 2-3 blocks) to several bus routes (70,81,87,280) and Lepanto Metro Station. Vatican museum within reasonable walking distance. Our room was very quiet (window located in an inner courtyard) Breakfast was excellent (scrambled eggs, ham, croissants, cereals, orange juice, various coffees, tea, etc.) with plenty of tables in which to sit. Staff extremely helpful and personable. Lift was in working order. Would highly recommend staying here and plan to in the future.

Had a problem with our mattress. Staff resolved it in a quick timeframe. Otherwise, a perfect experience.

Awesome deck, cool vibes, music and view of the church! Very beautiful at night, awesome to just hang and have drinks. PERFECT location, close to the Vatican which is what we wanted. Great Roman neighborhood, lots of restaurants and gorgeous architecture everywhere, great neighborhood. Parking was available in front of the hotel, but I can imagine this is not always the case, we may have lucked out. Staff was awesome , super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy.

Parking could be more convenient for people with cars, and they could have a small bar inside, they just had a little fridge with drinks, which is fine too, but sometimes its nice to have a hotel bar!

I’d stayed at this property a few years ago and was very impressed with the rooms, service and location that when I was going back to Rome for a visit with a family member I recommended we stay at the same hotel.

I would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room. Also some little things in the room needs to be redesigned as they weren’t practical - ie nowhere to hang towels, a few shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries, toothbrush etc which are to hand. The bedside tables not big enough to put personal things on. Nothing major, more annoying issues.
