The staff were extremely helpful and caring. They kept in contact with me before the booking, left me clear instructions and even a video of how to access when I arrive. They messaged me good cafe to visit in Rome and even kindly left a map in my room marking all the major attractions to visit in Rome. Kasimo was very helpful.

It was a little bit noisey, but I think it it was a coincidence with the other guests staying at the same time as me.

Rome is such a tricky city to pick a decent location, and this one did not disappoint. We appreciated the fact that this wasn't in the overly expensive tourist areas which meant restaurant prices nearby were really reasonable, but you are only a short walk away from the usual tourist spots and if you don't fancy walking, the metro station was a few minutes walk away. The shuttle direct to the airport stops at the end of the street, purely by coincidence did we discover this and it saved us a fortune on taxis. The staff were amazing, we had to self-check in due to the arrival time which was super easy, the staff provided loads of recommendations and we tried a few of the restaurants, one of the roof top bars and the breakfast spots across the road. The room was clean, had everything we needed and whilst being on the small side, was good enough.

The size of the room and the view, our room faced into a rather ugly courtyard, but we didn't come to Rome to look at it out of an hotel window, so this wasn't too bad.

The staff was WONDERFUL !! It was like visiting the home of an old friend. Cosimo at the front desk was very helpful in recommending local "non-tourist" restaurants and bars - in fact we took most meals at 3Quarti (right next door to hotel) and apertivo (Roman "happy hour") at Gracchi bakery down the street. When I return to Rome Hotel Roma Vaticano will be my destination. Neighborhood - the hotel is located in Prati - a residential area between the Vatican and the Tiber River - quiet with good amenities; 15 minute walk to St. Peters and 8 minute walk the Metro Orange line to central Rome

Not enough time to spend in Rome.

Great location! Close to everything. Close to metro and delicious restaurants. Clean room and bathroom with basic facilities like hair dryer and fridge. Daily cleaning and fresh towels. The staff were lovely, we spoke mostly to Mr. Cosimo. He gave us many tips, was super helpful and gave us a map with locations to visit and where to eat fantastic Italian food. He was a real superstar!!! We loved our stay there and would return!

Room is too close to reception so you can hear every conversation, so we were little worried during the night. But it was actually quiet during the night so we had nice rest!

First time in Rome - so I typed in "best area to stay for a first time visit".. That's how we ended up in this region. It was great & Hotel Roma Vaticano was the icing on the cake for us. The staff, facilities and the room were faultless. There's an excellent place across the road for breakfast (order at the till, pay and hand your reciept to the waiter). Lovely muffins and croissants. At the back they have a grill at lunch times. We found the prices in this locality to be around the same price as the UK - not extortionate. The Taxi to and from Rome we booked in advance - which saved money. Getting a taxi to the hotel was great as the driver pointed out the entrance to us. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was not easy to.find. it is located within a block of mixed used commercial premises. Hotel Roma Vaticano taking the whole of the 3rdfloor.. It was not well sign posted, probably council restrictions and due to the other commercial let's. I have attached a pic of the front door. I know it sounds a bit pathetic but just 1 TV channel in English would have been nice? Just CNN even?

Amazingly located, this boutique hotel offers nice and comfortable rooms a step away from the Vatican. The staff was very friendly and helpful. After the first night we asked to change room and they immediately moved us to a quieter. In fact our original room was located next to the reception and it was rather noisy, due to some guests that arrived very late at night (2 am) and some others that left very early in the morning (6 am).

I liked everything and I recomend it a 100%. Both the receptionists, the girl and the boy, were truly lovely and helped me with all my requests. They gave me a suggestion to go to the airport and even printed the shuttle bus information. The bedroom was big and clean, and the bed pretty much confortable. I also loved the bathroom and shower. The location suited us, because we wanted to stay in a place near Vaticano, but if your thing is the center of the city, I would suggest a near place, since the public transport in Rome is a C A O S. Loved all! Thanks for everything. I will be back soon.

The location was perfect. The room was clean modern and comfortable with access to a shared tea/coffee area. The antique lift was amazing.

Everything was lovely

This hotel was so much better than I expected. It is SO clean, completely spotless (I read some horror story reviews online for some other hotels at this price point in Rome). If you are a tourist there isn't a better place to stay at this price guaranteed. The locationion for sightseeing is amazing and there are great things close by and within walking distance. Multiple close subway stations in the area. Joseph, the concierge, was so helpful. He was in communication with us on WhatsApp and was very helpful with anything we needed. We could have even booked taxis and restaurants with him at a discounted rate. I have stayed in many budget boutique hotels in Europe and this was one of the best and it looks exactly like the photos. Entrance to the hotel is very secure and felt safe leaving our things there.

The staff were very helpful and our room was very clean. Our room looked as it had recently refurbished The security was excellent.

The fact that we requested 2 single beds and on arrival found that this request had not been fulfilled as Booking.com had confirmed it but not passed this request to the hotel. So one of us had to sleep on a sofa bed which, considering the price of the room was unacceptable.
