the location was very great - nearby metro/subway station that connects to the rest of the city. Some lovely restaurants nearby as well. As a tourist, I did not feel like I was either too far away from the sights I wanted to see or so close that I wasn't able to experience the real Rome.

The bed was stiffer than I would've liked, but that's it really.

The location is placed very close to the metro station and buses but you could reach attractions like Colloseum in walking distance( 20min). The Termini train station is close as well. The building is recently renovated and looks great ( still work in progress when we have been there). Isabel Guesthouse is situated at the first floor of the building. The place has 4 rooms with bathroom and a separated corridor with common kitchen/place to eat some breakfast or late dinner. The room had two beds : one small and other big. They were confortable. The bathroom was clead and well equipped. Even if our windows were close to a small street ( 2 rooms have view in the interior garden and 2 to a small street outside), there was no noise during the night. The wi-fi is strong mainly in the kitchen but was decent in the room as well. The communication with the property was great from the moment we placed our reservation and during our stay. This is not a luxuorious place but a very good value for money location if you are planning o visit the wonderfull city of Rome. We would comeback and reccomend the location to whoever plans to visit Rome.

It was a bit cold at night during our stay and the AC with inverter was good but very noisy so you could not keep it on at night.They have provided with a smaller heater but this was noisy as well.

The location of the property, the cleanliness, the hospitality of the owner (willing to help with local recommendations if needed), value to money.

It'd be nice to be able to do laundry, especially if a family is traveling with kid(s). Adding laundry capabilities (washer and dryer) will be a nice addition to this already recommended location.

As a Finnish family, we decided to stay in this guest house for 5 days. We were looking for a good price with a good location. We got both and more. Owner of this guest house was very friendly and helpful. She offered us help to travel to the guest house. When we arrived, she offered us a map, went through it and suggested places in Rome for us to visit. She explained how the guest house operated clearly, she showed our apartment and we felt like she trusted us. While we were in the guest house, she was quick to reply via Whatsapp whenever we needed to ask for and inform about something. She understood English very well, so it was easy to communicate. Location is great. There is San Giovanni metro station nearby. It is also handy to travel by buses/trams to, say, Colosseum and Vatican City. There is a little market called Pam, some restaurants and also a park for children near the ruined wall to visit nearby. There are 3 of us in our family with one child, so for us, our apartment was good, simple, big enough, offering basic things we needed. Apartment was warm. Bed was good. Shower was fine. Sockets were compatible with Finnish chargers. Shared kitchen was fine. Location was relatively quiet so we slept fine.

There's a Wifi, but it didn't quite work right, it was very slow occassionally. Also our our mobile data connection was sometimes slow for some reason. When you put on a light in the toilet some humming sound in the toilet turned on. We got used to it, it was not a big problem, but it was wierd.

The hostess was very warm and she cooperated very well with us. We fell sick on the second last day and she was kind enough to extend our stay, She was just a text away.

Considering the price, everything was good.

Excellent host who made our stay very comfortable. Rooms were nicely furnished, good location close from San Jiovani Metro Station with lots of buses options too. Great Indian restaurant near by named Kerala. Kitchen and dining area at property was good to have. Host was very caring and helped us connect to good local tour operators and do our tour bookings which saves our precious time. I would definitely come back here if staying in Rome and recommend it.

We liked the location very much. It is really close to metro station. Nearby there are places for groceries and a good restaurant. Colosseum is in 20 minutes walking distance, the city center & vatican are in 15-25 minutes with metro. Great communication with staff.

I like everything there..from the nice lady witch was very kind and explained me a lot for the city and places ,to the room and the location. Very close to the center ,metro is like 3min away. Near has a shop and coffees ,also has a great old church. Room was clean and smells fantastic. Thanks again for the great time Isabella ☺️☺️

- Location and closeness to Metro was perfect. - Value for money, we booked quite last minute but the price was still very good for 3 adults. - The hosts were very nice and accommodating.

Close to metro station. Communication by host was perfect before and during the stay.

Water from tap does not look clear. Not sure if it's common in Rome.
