We liked: 1) Contact initiated through whatsapp before check in with full instructions how to get into the building;2)Elena, the owner, met guests at breakfast;3) Location is less than 5 min walk from Metro Line A/Cipro station and the area is quiet but with the convenience of nearby formal and fast food type dining places, a lava secco on the ground floor, a couple of supermarkets and other services nearby;4)Room was relatively spacious, with options for full and low lighting, convenience of radiator supplemented by a remotely controllable heat pump, bathroom was also relatively roomy with a glass walled shower stall, a personal ref in the room and a reed aroma diffuser kept completed the sensory experience. Appreciated that the closet also had a lot of hangers for convenience. Wifi was strong and coffee was available in the kitchen most of the time (except when coffee pods ran out). Satisfying continental breakfast buffet style included in the stay.

Elena the host was so helpful and welcoming also suggesting best places to visit and eat in the local area. The breakfast were absolutely delicious and more than adequate. The location was fantastic within less than 5 minutes to the Metro and 10 minutes walking to the Vatican City. If you're driving there is private parking across the road at EUR20 per day. Great places to eat traditional Italian cuisine Trattotria da Zacca, it opens at 7.30pm for dinner and advisable to get there for their opening time as it is very popular with the locals too.

Elena was incredibly gracious and helpful. She organised a private transfer from the airport, and also booked a Vatican tour for us. The morning of our Vatican tour we had to leave before breakfast was available, so she arranged for us to have breakfast at the cafe around the corner. The location was an easy walk from the train station, which was only a few stops from the Roma Termini, and the nearby Bar Lupa cafe made the best coffee we had in Rome, for the cheapest price we found! There is a very well placed lavenderia (laundry) next door, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

The bed was a little hard for me, although my husband liked it well enough. If you are a larger person, the gap to get in and out of the shower is very small - not much wider than 30cm - and can be challenging.

Relaxing room, lovely balcony, the Cipri Metro very close as well as a good supermarket (Penny). Liked the area, a bit scruffy but not spoiled by tourists. A walking distance to Vatican city or if you're keen walker you can walk to all the important sights in the city. Nice breakfast, but as always: be early if you want it! But all and all everything was nice; it was like living in your own place in Rome as a local. Elena is very keen to please everybody and make their stay as nice as possible.

If you're very sensitive to odours, you might find the scent a bit too much.

We loved the room and the balcony with flowering pots to sit out on in the evening. Only about 5 stairs in entry then a lift up to your level. Metro is very close by and walk to supermarkets, fruit shops, cafes. We also walked to the Vatican. Elena, our host was helpful.As the pictures show the breakfast area is small but a great way to chat with fellow travellers.

There's a lot of pre packaged cakes and pastries at breakfast. Also cured meats and cheeses.Some stewed or cut up fruit would be great. I bought my own teabags as no black tea. I ate toast and a very hard boiled egg

Location excellent for visiting the Vatican. Metro 100m walk away for transport to Central Rome, in less than 20 mins. Found Elena extremely helpful in recommending places to visit. Communication regarding our booking and checking in process was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to dislike about our stay. One suggestion though, although our room had a great petite balcony there was only one chair. Maybe a second (possibly fold up one given size of balcony) might be good.

It is clean, with enough space for couple. Instructions from host were very clear. Bed is comfortable. It was enough space for our things. Very near is metro station and small beautiful restaurants and caffès with amazing food.

Very week isolation, we could hear almost all from another rooms. Hair dryer was not working. And in the morning it was very bad smell from bathroom.

Elena's place is a gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by warm hospitality. The room was charming and cozy, with a lovely little balcony to enjoy the fresh air. It was impeccably clean, and everything I needed was provided. The location was perfect, just steps from the metro, making it easy to explore all that Rome has to offer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome. Thank you, Elena, for a truly memorable experience!

Everything was perfect!

It was sufficient. Didn't have breakfast on my departure day, had paid for it but instead had been very grateful to have a snack available on arrival. Was grateful that owner advised beforehand that trains not working the weekend I was in Rome so she organised airport transfers for me. Very good service, drivers both arrived early.

The lift didn't seem to be working, but owner advised ... if lift doors aren't properly closed on exiting the lift it won't work until they are.

Beautiful apartment, loved our little balcony. The breakfast area was delightful, enjoyed access to the coffee machine. Traditional Italian breakfast was an absolute highlight. Elena was very welcoming and friendly. Great location for access to the Vatican. The underground station super close, too. The place had a beautiful smell, everytime we walked in, it smelt delicious and felt very feminine. Really loved it here and would highly recommend.

Current works on the local underground system mean the trains stop around 9pm. Didn't know this and got caught out on first night and had to catch a taxi back. Also, I would have liked a small safe in the room.
