It was brand new and very modern. Also very clean and the staff was helpful when needed. Loved the wireless chargers next to the bed and electronic blinds that make it extremely dark in the room :)

It was a bit too minimalistic - nowhere to put the suitcase, no kettle or bathrobes (although I expected them to be there since they were listed as included in the room). Two hooks to hang towels ant that’s it - was kinda annoying, especially since we were staying for 6 nights, so it was a constant problem where to hang the towels. Finally, the breakfast was quite disappointing. No vegetables, no butter/Mayo or any other spread. The only warm food - scrambled eggs and bacon all the time. I was pregnant when I travelled, so I really wanted some quality fiber-rich low sugar/fat breakfast, so fruits were the only option for me

We loved the location. Neighborhood is really nice, with shops and restaurants around the corner, also walking distance from many city attractions, but not in the middle of the crowed touristic areas. Room was modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and served at the top floor with a very nice view. Staff was very nice and helpful. Restaurant is great (and expensive), in the terrace with an awesome panoramic view. Only open for dinner and reservation is needed cause it is usually fully booked.

They asked for full payment at check in before I even got to see the room. No room service and the restaurant (which is great) was fully booked most of the days with no priority for hotel guests. Very small closet and no drawers but this is common to many hotels in Italy.

During my unforgettable trip to Rome last week, I had the pleasure of staying at Orazio that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality from the friendly staff. The hotel's location was nothing short of perfect, allowing me to easily explore the city on foot and immerse myself in its captivating charm. My mornings were off to a delightful start with a scrumptious breakfast spread that catered to all tastes. The room itself was brilliantly spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. Overall, my stay at this hotel was a memorable and enjoyable experience, and I cannot wait to return in the future. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay in Rome.

My stay at the hotel at Orazio was nothing short of fantastic, and there is very little I can fault about my experience. The staff, location, and room size were all impeccable, contributing to a truly memorable trip. However, if I were to pinpoint a minor drawback, it would be the prices of the drinks on the rooftop. While the rooftop offered breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, the steep costs of beverages made it difficult for me to fully enjoy and indulge in the experience as much as I would have liked. Consequently, I didn't spend as much time on the rooftop as I had initially planned. Despite this small concern, the overall stay was exceptional, and I would happily return to the hotel during my next visit to Rome.

Very nice hotel. Staff are helpful & very service oriented. Room is clean and quiet. I had breakfast included in my stay, which is great. It's a buffet style complete with eggs, bread, salami, pastries, and coffee. Great location. 15 min walk to Vatican. Also subway station is 15 walk which can take you to other parts of Rome.

Standard double is strictly for two people. I mistakenly assume "Standard double" was double (two) beds in a room like in the US for a family of four. If you intend to book for your family, you'll need to book a larger room which has more beds. Or, book two rooms that are Standard double.

Quiet road off Via Cola de Rienzo and quite close to the Lepanto Metro station and the Vatican. The rooftop bar has fantastic views for which you pay for! Service at reception, breakfast and rooftop bar all good.

We got room 12 which is linked to 14 by a door and for two nights had the noisiest Italian couple in Italian history! Also the lift shaft is directly behind the headboard so you won’t get much sleep before midnight. Reason I didn’t complain was that my wife was feeling unwell and couldn’t be bothered to move rooms. For €873 for 3 nights the breakfast was pretty basic but did the job.

the hotel overall was really nice. spacious room with nice bathroom and good staff who tried to help with any questions. overall good but for the price you pay should be bit higher standard

- breakfast was a bit standard. for the price you pay I would expect bit better products than Lidl basics - not fully fault of hotel but left a bit sour taste in our mouth was our experience in hotels restaurant. we only wanted to have a drink on rooftop and staff kept forgetting about us and we were treated not good at all compering to people who were dining. waited for drinks 40min and staff was bit rude upstairs

The overall design and look of the hotel was exactly, if not better than the pictures. the location is brilliant and away from the busyness, but not too far that you feel like you’re missing out. the staff were brilliant, excellent service. i wasn’t able to get the name of all the individuals working at the reception but they were really great one of the highlights about the hotel is 100% their staff and the room cleaners, they are so polite and welcoming. We extended our check out time by a few hours and Giada was amazing helping us out with this. Orazio palace hotel should be aware that my encounter with their staff was absolutely amazing, really nice people from the minute we walked in.

it was clean and modern. the reception were nice and spoke English fluently.

the only downside is that the payment policy is not the best. I payed with different credit card when I reached the hotel because I forgot to bring the one I booked with. and they refused to give back the suspended payment from my initial credit card and said it will be refunded within 30 days. meanwhile in other accommodations they were happy to make me pay only the rest of the total amount. the buffet is ok nothing fancy to expect.

Clean and new hotel in nice location in district of Prati. Rooms are modern, spacious and very comfortable, big bathroom with window. Breakfast was also very nice with friendly staff and wonderful location over the roofs of Rome. Rooftop terrace with stunning views to Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo.

Our room was on 6th floor and did get a lot of noise from the bar on 7th floor at the weekends and from the breakfast preparation in the mornings. If you like it more quiet, stay below floor 6.

We absolutely loved our stay at Orazio Palace. The staff were incredibly welcoming and were friendly and helpful throughout the duration of our stay - assisting us with our needs and answering any questions. The room was lovely, great size and accommodated all of our needs. It was cleaned daily, a note was even left on my friends Birthday which was a nice touch (and very much appreciated!) we could not fault the facilities within our room. Breakfast was good, varied choices and frequently replenished. Again, the staff were very helpful. Great location, easy to access public transport and surrounding areas. We would definitely return to Orazio Palace and would recommend to all. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We cannot fault our stay at Orazio Palace.
