Warm hospitality with helpful travel advice, fantastic breakfast and lovely cappuccino! Spotless room, set in an old apartment building with gorgeous marble staircase and lovely old ( tiny ) elevator- right on the Main Street of Travastere within steps of tram and bus stations. I’m so glad I returned here- warm welcome I received the first visit was double on my return trip. if I am lucky enough to return to Roma, I will stay again!

I could not have treated a guest in my home better than Constanza and Paola!

Breakfast was great each day with fresh fruit, pastries, cheese, coffee. Very helpful owner,.so friendly and accommodating. I would stay here just for the personal touch. Good food nearby and Trastevere is charming!

We choose this place on our last minute change of mind and it was amazing decision! Beautiful apartment located in Trastevere, walking distance from main attractions in the city, surrounded by dozens of restaurants, pizzerias and trattorias. Very friendly and helpful host, who will help You with all of Your questions. Breakfast is served on chosen hour by Yourself, and it's prepared especially for You. Ladies will ask for Your allergies or preferences to be sure You'll be satisfied. Room was spacious with private bathroom with huge shower and toilet. Comfortable bed, AC in room, great decorations. As we travel, we spend most of our time exploring, so time spent in room is minimal. Place is surrounded by restaurants, cafe's, pizzerias, wine bars, trattorias etc. For us stay in Rome was focused on exploring historical places but also food. Jackpot! Paola a Trastevere is place to comeback to. You feel here like in home.

The location was convenient, close to all the excellent restaurants and sights in Trastevere and adequate walking distance from the major sights in the centre. Good public transportation connections. Flexible check-in, later than the check-in hours with a small extra cost. Versatile breakfast, with savory and sweet options, incl. bread, spreads, meats, cheese, cake, juice, coffee, fruits etc. Good air-conditioning. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Friendly staff. Small fridge in the room.

There was a big bucket inside my bedroom where water dropped from somewhere (from the plumbing?) from time to time throughout the night.

Paola A Trastevere was a beautiful stay! Its perfectly located with several restaurants in Trastevere right below the building or right across the street. It’s also located near a pharmacy and bank which is helpful. The building is clean and has a very cool vintage elevator. My husband and I loved our room! It was spacious and had a great view of the area as well as a private bathroom, table, fridge, and TV.

There was a taxi strike on the penultimate day of our stay. Paola immediately understood the implications this had on our travel plans. Before we even asked, Paola had already taken it upon herself to arrange alternate transportation to the train station. This is the kind doting attention we received from Paola and Constantina, and it is what you can expect when you stay at this wonderful B&B.

Paola A Trastevere is in a great location in the heart of Trastevere. It is within easy walking distance of the very many bars and restaurants in this area and yet is within easy reach of the major tourist attractions of Rome, about 15-20 minutes walk over the river. The breakfast was served by Paola in our room and was more than adequate. There was a mixture of cakes, rolls, yogurts, fruit juice and coffee. We were provided with information on local restaurants.

The room was a little on the small side and would have benefitted from an in room safe but this was more than made up for by its location and welcome from Paola and her staff.

Great location and very easy to get around from there. A taxi stand is nearby as is a number of good restaurants. The room had good air conditioning and we could not hear any noise from the streets or neighborhood at night.

Paola a trastevere is located in the heart of trastevere, very close to the bars/restaurants/cafes, as well as the center of rome (Fontana di trevi is 10-15min on foot). The room was cleaned daily, it was warm and cozy (we were there in January, so it was chilly outside). Also, it was really quite and the noise from the street did not make it to the room. The breakfast was excellent (coffee, juices or tea, whatever your preference is, as well as different fruit every day). The staff was very polite, extremely helpful and answered willingly all our questions. They also adviced on some places to eat, which turned out to be top choices in trastevere. Frankly, I cannot find one reason why someone, who wants to travel to rome for vacation, would not stay at paola a trastevere.

The decor: The place was really beautiful, even the staircase and elevator. The location: Trastevere is a very cool place for nightlife, eating (otaleg, enzo, etc.), and it is close enough to the old city (the tram was not working but walking was a great solution - everything is nearby, also ). the nighborhood itself was pretty and usually is well connected. The staff were very nice and helpful especially with our late arrival, left a lot of written explainations.

The food: Breakfast is smaller than we'd have wanted (eg. one egg for 2 men). We've had bad items (one expired yogurt, one stale bun). Breakfast is served in the bedroom only (on a very small table for two), There is no dining room (I thought there was bc of the pics). This also means that not only breakfast is small, but also its size is fixed. The bed: was actually a twin bed that pushed together to form a double bed. During the night the gap was expanding and we had to push the beds back together or alter our sleeping behaviour (a bit uncomfortable).
