The room was nicely equipped with mini-fridge, kettle and coffee/tea supplies, ample wardrobe, plenty of electrical outlets (on both side of bed), a lots of lights. The windows were multi-paned, so the room wss very quiet, and opened, the large window had shutters that allowed in air with shade, or wide open with a bustling street view. The bathroom was fully equipped and the hot water was quick and plentiful. Everything was immaculately clean. For our purposes, proximity to Termini was vital, and the trains were only a few steps (one block) from the station. Nice restaurants around the corner. The units are on the 3rd level, and there is a small elevator, so you don't have to walk up. There are a few stairs up from the street level to the elevator. I always am concerned about gaining access, but that was no problem: in two different stays, we arrived in the evening, easily found the buzzer at the main door, and Signora Lucia both times answered promptly and let us in with no problem. Your own set of keys get you into the building, the BnB, and your room.

Nothing. The furnishings are very comfortable, although not super modern. This is not a Hilton, but that's not what we wanted to expected.

The price cannot be best! The wonderful and delightful elderly woman who runs this property speaks very little English but is deeply committed to making sure you have a wonderful stay. The rooms are large, the building feels safe, and the units are comfortable. There is air conditioning, fans, and many lights in the bedroom. This was a wonderful place to stay before leaving Rome and needing to go to the airport!

The property is very close to the train station, which means at night it doesn’t always feel like the safest walk to the building. Just be careful. Like most Italian showers the shower is very small so just be aware of that.

The location is a 5 minute walk from Termini station which was very convenient. Was given 3 keys to the street door, main door and my room. There is a tiny lift which was useful with bags. The room overlooked a busy road but the windows kept most of the noise out. The double bed was comfortable and there was a kettle with tea/coffee sachets. The bathroom has a handshower instead of a bidet which was very convenient. Was given an early checkin and just left the keys on the table for a very early morning check out. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby including a little cafe just around the corner of the building. The area was always busy even late at night and I felt very safe here. Airconditioning was charged extra at E4 per night but I was informed about that in advance and paid for it because the weather kept going from hot to cold to rainy and it was nice to be comfortable. The aircon charge and city tax have to be paid in cash.

The elderly owner speaks no English and I speak no Italian so there was some confusion about my booking and early checkin request. Another person Silvia spoke a little English and fortunately she understood and managed. Was given a single threadbare towel and a single napkin for 2 days with an extra towel on the third day.

The host does not speak English, but we got along very easily. The room was cleaned every morning. After check out we left our luggage for almost a whole day for a small fee. The location of the apartment is very central, you can easily reach any place in the city by public transport or even some on foot. There are also good restaurants nearby.

Our room faced the street so it was very loud during the night and early morning. To be able to sleep we had to close the windows. The bed and pillow could be more comfortable (to hard for us) but for a short stay it was not a problem. Sometimes the Wi-Fi signal was lost.

The location is very convenient; two minute walk to the Termini station. There is a lift in the building. The neighbourhood was so quiet, and I did not feel unsafe when I returned at night (though it is not a clean district apparently). The hostess was so nice, though she did not speak English. She even cleaned your room every day, even though I tried to tell her she did not need to.

The bathroom is sort of outside the room (like connected by a balcony space). So in the winter it was quite cold when you had to step outside your warm room to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was cold, too. The heater seemed not to work. So taking a shower at night was quite freezing. But it is no big deal during warmer days, and it is only a small flaw of the room.

I stayed 2 nights before my trip to the Northern Lakes and 1 night at the end of my trip. Pleasent surprise at my return, fresh towels and calme owner! Keep in mind the highlights: Distance to Termini, strong cold and hot water pressure anytime, good wi-fi and fridge, silence and good vibe in an old historical structure. You need a good physical condition, there are 12 high steps to climb to the tiny elevator, and I had a 23 kg trolley... Just pray to a good working of this elevator, another case you'll have to arrive on the third storey carrying your luggage. Fortunately, I was lucky, as in my entire journey with a railway strike, God saved me! Complimenti to the aged and brave lady owner, I was in full respect for her strength and power to keep this business, supposed my mother is the same age, so I understood many things...

The traditional room is exceptional value for money. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Perfect location for us very near Termini station and an easy walk around most of the main sites. A fridge and kettle provided. Opposite a decent supermarket with cafes etc nearby. Lucia the host speaks very little English but is kind and keeps the place spotlessly clean. It is not smart or modern and the towels are worn but at this price point it is an exceptional and spacious room.

Rome itself is incredibly busy. There is traffic noise everywhere including in the room.

The location was very close to Termini station. There were easily accessible restaurants and corner stores right in the area-easy to purchase water. The small refrigerator in the room was a nice bonus to keep drinks cold. The shower was spacious compared to most Italian BnBs.

Keep in mind the apartment is on the third floor, and the only elevator is located up 6 steps, so you have to push and lift your luggage to reach the elevator. Air Conditioning is an additional 4 euros per day, just be sure to inquire about it upon your arrival -otherwise its the open windows to the street.

Value for money - cheap, clean. Fridge and kettle. Very close to the train station. Great restaurants nearby. Neighbourhood felt quite safe.

It was very difficult to find this place! Walked past couple of times, still had to ask a near-by bar. There is no sign but you just have to check the bell buttons on a normal residential looking double door. When Lucia buzzes you inside you need to turn right, up some steps into a tiny lift with double doors. Get off on the 3rd floor. Place is more like an apartment with rooms rather than a hotel.

Very convenient to the train station, excellent restaurants nearby. (Hostaria Da Bruno excellent). Reasonable walk to Castro Pretorio (Blue Line) just to stretch the legs. Termini (both lines).and Leonardo.Express. Slept extremely well, mattress 'Firm' but not hard. Everything is kept extremely clean. I was in the single (purple) room. Don't be too surprised by the bathroom, it worked well for me...even at 6'8" the bed was long enough. Only.1night, but would.stay.longer.if.needed. Keyed access,.good security. Lift worked well. One of the CLEANEST Porticos I've seen. Don't forget to leave your keys on depature!...I forgot and needed to return them.

Bathroom was like playing Tetris...but I'm a big dude.
