The location was perfect. I could walk to everything in town within five minutes. Love to the rooftop pool.

The rooms are small so just be aware that you don’t have a lot of space

Fantastic hotel! The location is second to none, with amazing views across the marina and very close to the shops, bars and the ferry to Portifino. The train station is only 5/10 minutes away by taxi. The hotel is lovely, the staff were extremely professional and helpful and nothing was too much trouble - they genuinely cared. The rooftop sun terrace is great for relaxing and watching the boats. The hotel has a nice little gym with running machine, bike and cross trainer, as well as free weights and a multi-weight training machine. Breakfast was lovely and you had a great range, from continental to full english. We would most certainly stay at this hotel again. Thank you to all of the lovely staff for making it a very special stay!

There wasn't anything not to like about this hotel!

central location with magnificent water views. Very short walk to fantastic restaurants and shops. Access to parking was perfect and lift access was important as no need to drag luggage up stairs.

The staff is amazing! Very helpful In every way. The location was absolutely perfect! Location, location, location!!! The view from our huge balcony was stunning!

The room was plain and basic. Very clean but just had 3 twin beds lined up in a row. Beds were very firm and uncomfortable. Like a pull out. A little loud during the day with all the traffic.

All the staff were incredibly nice and helpful and the location is literally perfection in the center of everything with views of the port. There were such incredible views from our room we spent the evenings people watching from our patio. The local food was great as well everything within a very short walk and it is hilarious to watch the younger crowds come out in the late evenings. No videos or photos of the area did it justice. If you're looking for a Portofino experience without the price tag SM will not disappoint. We also did not feel like the area was overrun by tourists so if you're looking to stay within arms reach of Cinque Terre this is a great choice.

The breakfast was great other then ordering a cappuccino every morning and never receiving it, ha. I did think it odd that the hotel held our passports for as long as they did "to enter it into the system" which made me nervous after having it on my person for two weeks while traveling. With that said, they made it back to us safe and sound!!

Outstanding Location for this hotel - right on the marina at Santa Margherita. Lots of cafes and bars nearby. Easy access to the ferry terminal. Our room was clean but small, however we had a lovely balcony overlooking the waterfront and a good sized walk-in shower. Buffet breakfast was included in our tariff and was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you :)

Staff - every single one was friendly and helpful. Room - well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Breakfast - everything you could want, and more! Location - beautiful view and close to all the amenities of the town.

AC - would like to have been able to control this ourselves, rather than centrally controlled.
