This small boutique hotel is perhaps the best place to stay in Syracuse, as it is within walking distance between Ortigia and Neapolis Archaeological Park. Spotlessly clean large room and possibly the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on. We have a welcome drink on the roof terrace with a nice view of the surroundings and the park. Very useful stuff.

It was hard to find a parking place close to the hotel so we parked at a paid parking.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the city center, making it ideal for exploring the beautiful city and its charming attractions. The cleanliness throughout the property was commendable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and street parking nearby was a convenient option for guests arriving by car.

While the rooms were pleasant, they had a slightly classic charm, and the view was limited to the light well, which may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, the whirlpool came with an extra charge, but it could be a worthwhile addition for those who enjoy relaxing spa features. The mattress was on the firmer side, which might suit guests who prefer extra support.

Gluten free selection at breakfast was not great and a lot of food was gone early! However, staff made a good job in providing options. The valet parking at €30 seemed excessive, expecially that there were more kilometres on my counter when the car was brought back then I thought there should have been. However, staff do make you aware of the charge before you pick the option, but unless you get lucky with parking it is the only option to choose in the area!

Very clean and stylish centrally located boutique hotel. We really liked the decor with the various artwork around the building. Good rooftop terrace although not open for our visit The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and we were given an upgrade to a duplex suite which was a great room, very spacious with dual aspect balconies.The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet although we were in a central location for bars and restaurants.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for our visit. Breakfast seemed a little lacking as there appeared to be only one of every item but maybe we were the latest guests and had missed everything. It's a shame not to have a proper bar operating, I don't know if it was because the restaurant was closed but the drinks we ordered were served in the lobby which felt a little strange, a dedicated bar with maybe some lite bites if the restaurant was shut would have encouraged us to stay longer.

Staff and location are great. People that work there make the hotel experience 5*. Everyone and especially Melania at the reception: We can’t thank her enough for her help. Absolutely professional and super kind!

I have to admit that the hotel facilities are not at the 5* level. However, due to its staff and location, I would stay there again

In the St Lucia neighbourhood adjacent to Ortiga but free from the crowds and cruise ships surrounded by great restaurants and services in a beautiful neighbourhood near the marina overlooking a grand park and public square. 5 min walk to the train station for day trips to Noto, Ragusa and Catania.

The prices for the dinner were too high compared to comparable restaurants in the area.

Everything was incredible. Above all the people. What an amazing team. The hotel is stunning, the location could not be more perfect, the architecture (and I am an Architect) is truly beautiful, the rooms are beautiful, and I stayed twice, so I have seen different room, and then the breakfast - great choices, all fresh, and everyone so super friendly and helpful. Always smiling and always professional. I have had the best time and cannot thank you all enough. A presto, Sabine

A Boutique hotel is every sense of the word without the price tag ! beautiful interior, lovely rooms, a panoramic roof terrace (book an evening sunset in the jacuzzi with Prosecco is a must). some of the most amazing staff we have ever met in the world (who go beyond to ensure that you feel special, welcome and have everything you need). Amazing breakfast and 7* Service. Do not miss the opportunity to dine in their Il Tiranno restaurant, an amazing chef who cooks with pure passion and innovation to deliver Michelin star quality at local prices. the food, preparation and service is just incredible (so if you don’t stay here, make sure you eat here!!). we are so thankful to the staff for one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had! This hotel is a gem, in the city centre and within walking distance of all attractions. A truly wonderful experience, thank you Caportigia !!

Room was spacious and comfortable and particularly liked the terrace snd the patio next to our room which was the only room on the third floor

The only reason we gave this hotel a 9 instead of a ten was that there were just too many sweets for breakfast and not enough items that comprise a more normal breakfast . Breakfast needs to be a healthier endeavor and not filled with so many items that are really not appropriate for breakfast and seemed to largely be wasted as the hotel was not very full from what we could see. But this did not detract too much from our stay and hopefully is a helpful comment.

Close enough to walk from the Siracusa station. The room was clean and neat. The staffs were super kind.

The ventilation system in the bathroom didn't work. The shower head that wasn't fixed also didn't work. It's not a big deal, but it would have been better if we'd been told at check-in. We received a room on the first floor, and we could hear the noise from the reception or the streets. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend that you bring earplugs.
