The location of the hotel is great - just a little way out of town (say 500m - which is welcome because the town centre gets very busy in summer)and with panoramic views across the bay. The hotel is styled in ‘Italian chic’ decor I.e. many lovely pieces of furniture and marble floors. We stayed in a suite with a terrace and jacuzzi pool. The suite was modern, private and kept exceptionally clean with daily linen change etc. The food was fantastic, great choice at breakfast and evening meals easily at the standard of anything you’ll find down in the town. The aspect that needs special mention though is the staff - I cannot speak highly enough of the warm, friendly and professional service where every need of the guests is catered for. The roof top pool and bar area is really nice and kept immaculately clean. I thoroughly recommend this hotel as a base location if you are travelling to the Sorrento area

Nothing - fantastic place with brilliant staff

Elegant, classy, and luxurious accommodations await you in this exquisitely decorated hotel. The view is to live for, and the dining is exceptional. They catered to my gluten-free food issues. Giuseppe, for their delicious breakfast and dinner, took amazing care of us. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We loved it so much that we ended up staying 2 more days. I highly recommend the glamorous experience at Hotel.Bristol.

Fantastic hotel. What made it most special for me was the staff and I mean ALL the staff. Francisco greeted us as our car pulled up. He was gracious and most genuine. Grace helped us with our day and night trip to Capri. The view from our room was gorgeous. And the pool and grounds are stunning. Very relaxing and the picturesque Italian movie experience. I don’t generally return to the same place twice but this hotel will be a must again. The walk into Sorrento was about 20 minutes give or take 5 and yes there is a bit of an incline on the way back and a narrow sidewalk. It was not an issue at all for us however people with mobility issues may not enjoy this. Thank you Hotel Bristol, and see you again.

The location was great and only a 10 minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was very spacious and clean. We had a wonderful view of Vesuvius and the sea from our balcony. The swimming pool was lovely and warm with sun loungers to relax during the day. The food was absolutely brilliant during our stay. Giuseppe and the bar/kitchen staff were so friendly and accommodating and really made us feel welcome.

We had booked a room with a hot tub on our balcony for our honeymoon and when we arrived it wasn’t very clean and it didn’t feel particularly private with a neighbouring restaurant terrace having a view of our hot tub and balcony, which was off putting. We had a late flight home on check out day and politely asked if we could check out late or have access to another room to freshen up before leaving for the airport. We had been told that we could use a courtesy room and this would be no problem at all. On the last day, we asked what the earliest time would be to access the room and the response we received made us feel as if we were being an inconvenience. This then impacted the way we felt when we left.

Every morning was a delight to be having the breakfast in the dining room with a spectacular view. The Staff - all of them - with a special mention to Luca and Gaetano as I cannot remember all the names - were exceptional. They could not do enough for us.

Okay that I will share. Being Irish we love our tea boiling hot and unfortunately it was not very hot at all. Also we were very shocked at the prices of the food, the starters and main courses were somewhat overpriced. We did not realise that dessert was an additional cost. An example was a Main Course - omelette - the charge for that was 24 Euros - a wee bit steep!

Our stay at the Hotel Bristol was exceptional. I cannot emphasize enough just how lovely the staff are and what a beautiful hotel this is. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean, with a truly breathtaking view of Mount Vesuvius and the sea. The hotel breakfast was excellent (and so was the dinner we took there on a rainy day). The staff were so helpful and accommodating to my celiac disease, and they had a ready supply of gluten free options and the chef even prepared me separate food to ensure there was no cross contamination from the breakfast buffet. I am very grateful for how kind everyone was overall. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else next time I'm in Sorrento!

Fantastic setting, west of the town centre atop the cliffs. Far enough outside of the centre that you aren't disturbed at night, while still only a 5-10 minute walk to the main street. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Views from our room were amazing, looking directly over the Bay of Sorrento, with clear views of Mt. Vesuvius. Included breakfast is quite good. Highly recommend.

The location is great, very easy to get to places Our suite was beautiful, excellent views and the outside bath was great!

The food is terrible, very outdated and the selection leaves alot to be desired. The drinks are massively overpriced for what you get, cocktails come in really small glasses but cost €13 each The pool needs alot of repair work, the small kiddy type pool had really sharp edges when your walking in it, I actually cut my foot on a peice of tile adhesive or cement that was blobbed on the bottom. The decoration is very outdated, feels like a retirement home In the most expensive room you don't get a double bed, instead you get 2 single beds pushed together and they're rock hard, hard to cuddle your loved one in bed as you fall between the two single beds.

We had a fabulous 5 night stay at the hotel. The location is perfect with the most wonderful views over sorrento and the bay of naples. We had breakfast which was varied fresh and tasty with a selection of hot egg dishes available cooked to order. A special thank you to luca and all the dining room staff who were so friendly and helpful ensuring everyone was looked after. Reception staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It was our wedding anniversary and it was lovely to find a bottle of fizz waiting in the room! Perfect stay and would definitely return.

From the moment we arrived Hotel Bristol was outstanding! We were welcomed and then escorted to our room and advised of all of the amenities. We stayed in Villa Blanco and our room was just stunning .. immaculately clean .. beautiful to look at and a view across Sorrento that was just breath taking. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and offered to help on every occasion. The location of the hotel is set up on the overlook of Sorrento but the walk in is very easy and didn’t take long at all.

There was nothing I didn’t like.
