The location was brilliant, the room large, bathroom very large, we were very impressed with our stay very friendly, everyone we talked to spoke English or had a very good understanding of it so made it much easier, breakfast was very good and staff there attentive and friendly, good options and very well presented. Would most definately pick this hotel again, really close to train and bus transport five minute walk max. Plenty of eateries around and a supermarket next door, tea and coffee facilities in room and beer water and soft drink available at bar inside hotel for cheap prices.

Couldn’t find any faults to be honest. Maybe breakfast could go longer so I could stay in bed longer ha ha it goes until ten which is more than reasonable but can’t think of anything to change really.

hotel location is fabulous. close to old town, to marina and train station. staff, including hotel manager, were very helpful and supportive with all our tasks, they organized a festive cake and prosecco for our anniversary. most of the hotel breakfast ingredients are local. rooms are very comfy and clean. a major plus for the windows, don't know who is the producer, but they insulated the room very well, considering noise and activity on the min street. maybe a little pricy, but this is the standard price for Sorrento and having all the above.

Great breakfast!! Lots of choices. Love the different flavored croissants, eggs, grilled veggies, coffee and juices.

The hotel is centrally located and this is the third time I have stayed there. The staff at the desk and in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful.

Got the last room last minute. Staff was nice and held our luggage ahead of check-in. Room was clean, wifi had password. Breakfast had eggs, bacon and sandwich meat along with bread and pastry. Hotel had been renovated nicely but is small. Did have elevator. Price we paid was very good for location which was close to ferry, train and car rental.

Room was very small and balcony faced interior wall you could almost touch. Roof deck was a bar- you couldn't sit up there with your own beverages. Didn't have that great a view due to higher buildings around. Mattress was uncomfortable. We didn't spend much time in room so it worked out ok.

Hotel Sorrento City was Spectacular!!! We enjoyed our stay and everything about this hotel- great location- we could walk to shopping, eating, site seeing, train stop, the water-front.... The Staff was wonderful, helpful in guiding us to restaurants and the breakfast each morning was so wonderful- fresh in-house baked goods, fruits, eggs, cafe, juice,etc...

Maybe the shower could have been larger...there really is not much I would change--the rooms, the hotel is just that great!!!

Location absolutely perfect. With few mins walk of main square. Hotel decor so nice. Size of hotel was great. Breakfast was lovely. Rooftop bar we enjoyed one night and it was very nice. Our room was just what we needed. It was small but so clean and well presented. The balcony and view of Main Street was fabulous. All the staff were wonderful. Friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. You are in middle of city so busy street but the double glazing kept most of noise out at night. Would highly recommend.

Our only minor point and this is personal preference, that both of us found the bed quite hard and tried all pillows but also not comfortable for us personally.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION..... 2 Minute walk to Piazza in Sorrento where there are plenty of cafes and shopping. There is a very nice grocery store next door for convenience. Hotel was very clean and staff was fabulous. Breakfast was very good for most hotels in Italy. We return to Italy every year and this will be our hotel in Sorrento. SO CONVENIENT TO EVERYTHING YOU WOULD WANT TO SEE. Walking distance to Ferry to Capri. Short 25 minute trip to the island of Capri. Try this hotel you will not be disappointed.

Rooms are on the small side, but most rooms in Italy are. We were happy with everything this hotel had to offer.

This hotel was FABULOUSO! We loved Sorrento and cut our time short in Positano to go back to Sorrento, but did not like our 1st hotel, so we decided to come here and it was the best decision!! If I could give it 10 stars* I would! First of all it is IMMACULATE, absolutely gorgeous, exquisite design, beautiful décor with a fantastic roof top bar! Great view of the city main street, yet our room was quiet. Upon arrival they have chilled lemon water and also made us a cappuccino! The breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff could not have been better! The owner and the young lady receptionist were exceptional, they helped us so much with directions and even made calls to help with our train travel. This is beyond 5* for the price, I will recommend this hotel to everyone wishing to visit Italy and this magnificent town with great people, shopping and restaurants!

Not one thing!

I got exceptional service from the staff at the hotel. Everyone was friendly and professional. They answered questions i had, got extra towels when needed it, got coffee from kitchen before they open for breakfast. It was very clean and at great location closecto everything. I loved that room had balcony with table seating overlooking Corso Italia. Everthying was provided in room as listed. Breakfast was included and it was buffet style with everything you would eat for breakfast, it included fresh fruits, milk, juice, several types of pastries, sweets, eggs and cheeses, salami, breads,..all fresh and yummy. Drinks included coffee which was made fresh to order. I highly recommend this hotel as I will be staying at the same next time I come.
