The property was located very very centrally and right opposite the bus terminus. The walk to Taormina was short, slightly uphill, but very manageable. Swimming pool was amazing, after you navigated the 186 steps down to it from our room. Reception service was responsive and helpful, cleaning regular and thorough. Even after our check out the team at the front desk took care of our bags following a bus arrival crisis 🤪

The hotel location is superb. The building hangs over a cliff and has the most spectacular gardens, pool is large and pool surroundings are spectacular. Pool restaurant offers good and decently priced food. This makes up for the inside of the hotel that could use a renovation

The inside is a bit tired and the decoration is inconsistent and dated. My single room was quite small but had view of the gardens and sea.

Perfect view, lovely helpful staff , good breakfast, beautiful hotel in the best location. We loved that it had a slight “faded glory days feel.” The concierge advised us about transport and was really helpful.

Lacked a little atmosphere - bar was closed when we could have done with a pre dinner afternoon drink. The contents of mini bar was inadequate ( one beer?, a few spirits, a few soft drinks) .

Best location in Taormina even though you have to make many stairs to go to the Mandolia Beach (Isola Bella is just there as well) and to go back and climbing so many )) if you are sporty ok, otherwise easy to acces the city in 6-7 min and in 3-4 min funiculaire which brings you down to the beach. The room upgrade (without asking - Big Thanks!) from with balcony sea view to the one with huge terrasse (room at the level of pool number 301 - one of the best in this hotel I suppose ) was impressive and views were amazing!!!!! Room is stylish and comfortable. Super quiet location (beginning of September). The pool were perfect and good size, the breakfast and food overall were delicious ! If I would go again I will choose this hotel again and I will definitely come back to this place and hotel ! The staff at the Reception seem gentle and assertive however a bit more smiles should be appreciated ) Btw, the bed sheets were changed every 2 days and cleaning is very well done, the cleaning ladies were very gentle.

Almost nothing! Just as information to add the bed system is still with the ressors one but the pillows are very good and comfortable! This did not disturbe me (ressors bed is harder than another type).

Location was perfect, a short walk to the main area with restaurants and shops. Stunning view from the window although cost for a balcony was excessive so we just stuck with a sea view without. Pool was lovely too, lots of steps to it as we read in reviews before but it wasn’t a huge deal. Very polite and helpful staff, plentiful breakfast, great stay.

Cost of parking was €20 a day so for 4 days €80 felt like quite a lot! But no real option as the other car parks wouldn’t take hotel guests. The room was also pretty small in my opinion and felt quite dated aesthetically. Nothing that drastically impacted our trip though.

the property is in a great spot, easy to walk into town and short walk to the gondola. the pool is excellent and much needed in Taormina in August. the rooms were fine, we had a great balcony that overlooked taormina beach and the pool. the design is a bit outdated and wacky but it adds to the charm.

there was one really lovely man working on reception but one other guy was incredibly rude. our friends were able to check in to their room until 5pm and he was unapologetic about it. also we requested a taxi to be booked which he confirmed then he forgot about it and didn’t try and help us or let us know there was a taxi rank less than 50m away. obviously just doesn’t like working in hospitality. also be aware if you need disability access, I wouldn’t book this place.

The view was beautiful from our room. The hotel was also in walking distance of the main shops and restaurants. You can tell they have done upgrades in the lobby area. Other areas are still beautiful but a bit dated.

The 'king' bed was 2 twins pushed together. They were not very comfortable and I kept falling into the Crack between them.

The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and had a great location right at the local bus stop (great for taking trips elsewhere). The staff was very kind and helpful. The view from the room was magnificent. Breakfast was nice. The pool was great, a very nice area with view of the garden and the sea. Overall, we had a great stay, thanks to everyone at the Hotel Miramare!

The pool water was too cold. It would have been nice to have a restaurant for dinner as well.

Location, location, location (close to main street with restaurants and shops and at the same time quiet place). Sea view from the room :) Nice room with good AC and fridge. Rituals cosmetics in bathroom. Good breakfasts on the terrace.

Some minor things like no tissues or flip-flops in the room. Swimming pool open only till 6:30 PM. In general hotel could use some TLC (tender, love, care).

We liked the outstanding view and the swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent, providing a wide variety of food. Very friendly and welcoming staff at all times. The location was perfect too - a 5 minute walk to the start of town and the possibility of walking down to the beach if you like steps!
