The hotel Condor was a lovely traditional hotel. All the staff were lovely and welcoming. The location was great just off the main shopping street. Continental breakfast 5 stars both food, chef and waiting staff were lovely also the beautiful view just made our stay. Very clean. I would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a great value for money stay.

Although we paid extra for a sea view we were on the bottom floor, we did have a sea view however the flat roof underneath the balcony was an eye sore. We would have much preferred to be higher up or not directly above the flat roof. We would request a higher up room if we were to stay again.

The location is great, just outside the city walls near Arco dei Cappuccini. A little bit of a climb up to the hotel, but not far at all (250 meters) from the Arco. It’s down a flight of stairs to the lobby, but there is an elevator right in the lobby. The view from the rooftop terrace and many of the rooms is great. Very comfortable, pleasant place. Good breakfast.

Nothing. Very pleasant and easy to be there. Watch your step in the shower and bathroom— the footing can be a bit tricky, but not too scary if you are aware of it.

Short walk from the Main Street, great aircon, lovely terrace with amazing breakfast and lovely staff who gave great recommendations! The hotel have a cheap deal with la dolce vita beach club which includes transport to and from and a beach bed all day on mazzeo beach.

This is a beautiful & pretty little hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. We were a group of 4 staying in 2 adjacent rooms with one room & bathroom slightly bigger to the one next door, and one of the rooms had tea & coffee making facilities which the other didn’t. Both rooms had sea view rooms with balconies, and how wonderful was it to watch the sun rising over the sea in the mornings. Breakfast was eaten upstairs in a room/open terrace with similar views to our bedrooms. There was an amazing buffet style choice of both cooked and cold food which was replenished quickly by the lovely kitchen staff who were on hand cooking. All food seemed to be home made with a vast array of both savoury and sweet. Drinks were brought to your table by a really friendly lady with a great sense of humour. There was a terrace looking out over the sea, perfect for sitting out in an evening or afternoon, which we didn’t get a chance to use as we were out and about all the time as there is so much to see and do. The hotel is perfectly situated a very short walk to restaurants and Corso Umberto, the main walking & shopping street in Taormina, and it’s also a very short distance to a well stocked minimarket. All four of us had a wonderful 5 nights in Taormina and absolutely loved our stay in Hotel Condor. Thank you to all the lovely staff. We wish we were still there.

The hilly geography of Taormina made it difficult for us to decide on the hotel location, but fotunately we did a perfect choice! The hotel is very close to Porta Messina and the main street of Taormina, and at the same time it is located at a slightly higher point that offered outstanding views of the surroundings. The option of having a parking space for the car was also very convenient, as we could easily arrive to the hotel and then wander around the whole city on foot. Our room was very large and comfortable, with a nice balcony. The staff was very kind and helpful, answering all our questions.

I got a free upgrade to the apartment for most of my stay. It was large, peaceful with a lovely big balcony with a view towards the sea. The WiFi was excellent for the two days I had to work indoors, though I didn't test it with a video call. The staff were unfailingly kind and helpful. I had the hotel breakfast once and there was a wide variety of food, savoury and sweet and all very tasty.

The apartment could use a little TLC and repairs. Nothing that troubled me, but I might have been concerned had I paid full price. The one night I stayed in the hotel proper was also a little noisy at times, which made me very glad for the upgrade.

I liked the building itself, the style and the view from the rooftop terrace. The room was big enough, clean, the fridge had a mini bar, there was also a safe box, air con. The bathroom big and clean. The room didn't had a view but was not necessary, you can enjoy the view from the rooftop terrace at any hour of the day, is also the location for breakfast. But you can also upgrade to a room with a view. Our room was just behind the reception desk but the one next to us had a great view, I sneaked a look when the door was open for cleaning 🙂. Friendly stuff available 24h. The location of the hotel is up on the hill but is not that far from the city centre to walk, you have a minimarket on the way (ipercoop). Close to bus station, the one on the left of Porta Messina. And 15 min walk from Terminal bus (where you get the bus for Catania centre or airport). On the way to the terminal bus you have the point for cable ray (funivia). And to not forget about the breakfast. It was tasteful, quite different than what I met before, the usual style. It gaves us the feeling of a real sicilian family breakfast. And we had canolli 😍. Never in Italy we had canolli at breakfast. What a treat! Overall, a nice experience. Thank you!

Place was lovely! Room beautiful spacious and sparkling clean. The front desk associates were kind, professional and very helpful. They provided map and local restaurant recommendations that we found to be spot on. The breakfast superb! Lots of choices, cooked and raw fresh veggies, cappuccini, baked goods,etc. The server at breakfast was very kind and attentive to any requests. I know we will be back next year! They have a posted sign to book direct and save money. We will try that next year. Thanks Hotel Condor for a wonderful 2 day stay.

Everything perfect!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Hotel Condor from the moment we arrived, The Hotel accommodation had a perfect blend of traditional architecture and modern comforts. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean and well-maintained. The hotel's staff were very warm and welcoming, and a special credit to Sarah who went out of her way each morning, to treat us to a spread of local delicacies, fresh pastries, and aromatic coffee, all served on the charming terrace with amazing views of Taormina. The location was ideal, just steps away from Taromina most iconic sights. We can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return.
