Their breakfast was excellent, with a lot of variety to suit many different tastes. Normally in Europe I'm just expecting a continental breakfast with a few sweet things and coffee, but this spread had scrambled eggs and little sausages and many different types of breads, and cheeses and meats along with the normal sweet things! It was great! I know the hotel was reasonably busy during the five nights I stayed there, but except for breakfast I almost always felt like I was the only guest there! Very quiet for being right downtown! Everything in the room was well organized and easy to figure out and perfectly clean. I loved the daily housekeeping service!

The ONLY thing that made me laugh was the size of the juice glasses at breakfast! As an American I forget how accustomed to oversize portions we are, so their TINY little glasses were just SO European!

The hotel is ideally placed for walking to the museums, shopping and train station and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The rooms are large, clean and well furnished. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and the shower was good strength and it was easy to control the temperature. Shower and hand wash and even toothbrushes were provided with plenty of towels. All the staff we met (reception, room and breakfast) were really friendly and helpful. We had a late flight and could leave our cases in a locked room until 8.30pm which was very useful.

The only thing I can think of is that there is no kettle in the room. To be honest, I don't think a kettle is normally provided in Italy anyway.

The location was excellent - within walking distance of the railway station and the bus service to the airport (without any intrusive noise), and within walking distance of the significant attractions in the city, shopping, and some good eating places. Our room overlooked the park, and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was substantial.

1. Staff interaction ranged from mechanical disinterest to warm engagement. A smile and a bit of attention can make the world of difference to a weary traveller and sadly we didn’t get this on our check in. 2. There is a terrace area where guests can sit and have a drink. In order to get a drink, we had to phone the reception area and were told someone would be up immediately. We waited about 15 minutes but no-one came to get our order. We left, as did some other guests who had been given the same advice. It was a pity because the terrace was comfortable and inviting.

Booked a hotel parking space ahead of arrival which turned out to be in a locked and secure underground carpark with pedestrian access close to the hotel. Very good value and piece of mind compared with street and other parking options locally as we were travelling round Europe with a car full of items we did not need to take into the hotel. Hotel location was excellent also in terms of access to the Metro and walking options to Palaces etc. Would highly recommend.

Nothing important. Room was spacious and comfortable but perhaps lacked a little character perhaps but that would be me being very picky. I'd very happily stay in the same room again.

-The hotel was very clean with nice decoration, creating an appealing ambiance. -The room size was good, and having a balcony added to the overall experience. -The room was peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful stay. -The breakfast provided a fantastic experience with a great selection of options. -The Wi-Fi service was reliable and provided a good internet connection. -The hotel's location was excellent, enabling easy access to various attractions. I was able to walk everywhere, averaging 20K to 30K steps per day. Also super close to the airport bus! -The presence of water stations on the corridor was convenient for refilling water bottles.

Unfortunately, the AC unit in my room did not work despite my attempts to operate it. Additionally, the light beside the bed was not functioning, although the other lights in the room worked fine. It is worth noting that I did not report these issues to the staff. However, it was not a major issue for me, as the AC unit started working again the day before I left. Perhaps they fixed it while I was out.

Very convenient location next to the main train station, and friendly staff, it is a family owned hotel for 6 generations. Generous breakfast on the 1st floor with nice options. Parking is a small problem, as their reserved spots in the public parking are just four, so you'd need to compete with the public street parking (blue lanes; free in Summer) or with the paid public underground parking "Roma-San Carlo" that costs approximately EUR 2/hour (overnight rates slightly reduced; I paid EUR 25 for ~19 hours). The room was in classic style matching Turin downtown, spacious with a high ceiling and even an (unexpected) air conditioning. The balcony led to the internal patio, nice but nothing outstanding. The hotel and rooms are all very clean. As was the city. very nice experience.

Parking can be a bit of a concern, we had to park in the underground public garage, which fortunately was not crowded. Tip: if you enter the garage in -2 (red), drive to park in -1 (blue), close to the San Carlo exit (not Roma exit), so as to be closer to the hotel. We got the other way, Roma exit, and we lost for a bit until we found our way to the hotel, some 2-3 blocks away.

Superb hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights as a kick start to a mini tour taking in Verona, Milan, Bergamo, Treviso, Venice then back again for one more night (we were so impressed we came back here rather than book into a different hotel) before flying back to London. Very well located - the bus stop to and from the airport is literally just across the road. Our room was spotlessly clean, quiet and beautifully furnished in a classical Italian style. The reception staff were wonderful, professional and spoke excellent English. The breakfast facilities were extensive. I recommend the cakes, breads and cold meats and cheeses as well as the healthier options.. I would have no hesitation in booking again when next in Turin. A relaxing and comfortable experience.

The location was excellent, building full of character and the staff were so helpful and friendly. As it was out of season, some repairs and renovations were being made but only between mid morning and late afternoon- no impact on us at all other than being curious to see what they had achieved when we were out and about!

Initially we missed having a hospitality tray and glasses in the rooms but we simply asked at reception and in no time at all lovely pots of tea and coffee were brought to us along with wine glasses (we had to sample the local wines after all, to know what to order when we went out 😉)

I did enjoy everything, very nice looking room, clean, with a very comfortable bed, very well situated in a nice location, next to the center and the metro. The breakfast is very good and offers a great variety of choices. The value for money is very good considering the prices and the quality one can experience in this area. The staff are very kind. Last small but very nice detail, the (free) cool/flat/sparkling water dispenser available and accessible at any time by the customer, with the possibility to get water to the room.

The location was great, just across the street is Porta Nova Train Station, that was fantastic. Even the bus station to the airport is across the street. Also the center is very near, 5 minutes waking so I would definitely stay there again when I will be in Torino. The room was huge, clean, with old furniture but still in good shape, with comfortable bad and big bathroom. A cute balcony with a nice view at the park and at the train station Porta Nova. Very good breakfast that you can enjoy on a beautifu typical Italian little terasse . Loved it! Recommend it!
