The staff is really friendly and helpful, also the hotel location is great — only 5 min walking from Porta Nuova, which was a lifesaver for my trip, I arrived really late in the evening and had to board a train back at 6 am. The room was relatively small, but had everything one might need. Perfect for a short stay for those planning to walk around the city center a lot. I’m not a picky traveller, my must have for a hotel room is nice fresh sheets and a clean bathroom, both of those requirements were met. The breakfast zone is a bit small with the food that isn’t that variable, but has everything you need to start the day (coffee, tea, juice, eggs, pastry, ham, cheese, fruit, dairy).

The water in the shower could have been hotter. I felt like there was a tiny water heater somewhere which lasts for about 5 minutes and after that the temperature goes form relatively warm to outright cool. So no nice relaxing showers in the evening. Also the bed didn’t have a proper blanket, only two thin sheets. It was fine for the time I was staying, but I hope they add something thicker and wormer for the winter.

Very friendly and supportive staff. Assisted with everything that we asked for and gave some great guidance what to see and what to try. The room was very tidy. Great location! Highly recommended for a "sleep-in and move through the city" type of travellers. Will definitely return for a quick stop. Best regards to the staff!

The room seemed a little bit too small at the beginning but we got what we booked. I have only one point for improvement after spending the night: Breakfast could have an addition with hot/warm meal option (not only croissants and cold pancakes/bread/sandwiches).

The best plus point is the location. Few minutes walk from the Porta Nuova station, with a bus stop just outside, its so convenient for travelling to the Piazza Castella & even Veneria Reale. A nearby bus stop is serviced by bus 68 which takes you to Sassi Superga, from where you can take the train to the beautiful Basilica Superga. Staff was very helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good with hot & cold items. We stayed 4 nights & the rooms were cleaned daily. The air-conditioning was very good.

We missed a tea kettle.

Spare and functional, room was clean and tidy if a little rough around the edges (doors looked like they had been clawed by a dog at some point). Cleaning staff always came in and provided fresh towels and neatened everything, beds were clean and radiators were hot so room was warm. Some staff were exceptionally lovely and friendly, went out of their way to help us.

A couple of staff members were standoffish and rude, young kids on first day and gentleman on night shift when we woke early. Wasn't a very friendly city in general though. Woman running breakfast room was terrifying, slamming and banging and raising eyebrows amongst a few guests each morning.

Great location and breakfast. Downtown and easy to walk from train stationn (porta nuova). Breakfast had cereal, juice, coffee, tea, yogurts, various types of bread plus toppings (butter, jam, nutella), meat, and cheese, plus hard boiled eggs. So breakfast is very filling. Place is aging but it is clean and there is a lift to access upper floors. Nice hot water but pressure wasn't consistent during shower. Friendly staff. a little bar area downstairs to sit with a drink is nice.

Odd layout of the rooms and aging of the property - both of which are mitigated by the size of the rooms and that it's clean. All that to say, no real issues unless you want a modern property.

The location was perfect for us. We went to the Esperanto Conference at the Politecnico. It was a 20 minute walk. We arrived by train at Porta Nueva. It was a 5 minute walk. We ate at the Sardegna Ristorante, a 10 minute walk. We also ate at the Kebap kiosk 2 blocks from the Politecnico. - Everything was perfectly clean. They insisted on tucking the sheets even though every night we pulled it out. Who cares! :) The morning breakfast was more than at most. It's not gourmet, but it was absolutely great for our needs.

There was a storm and the power blew out the elevator one day. No big deal because it wasn't a travel day for us. The air conditioner was a bit finicky... we were cooler than we wanted. But that was a whole lot better than the heat outside.

The breakfast was very good and the location five minutes from the train station was excellent. It was only fifteen minutes' walk to the Egyptian Museum, my principal destination. It was affordable and a good value for the money.

The Wi-Fi, though free, was sometimes unstable. Route maps of the public transportation system could help visitors with limited skill in using smart phones, but having such maps available is clearly outside the control of the hotel.

It was clean, we had AC and balcony, the breakfast was very good, service was great. Not far from the city center (15min walk to Piazza San Carlo, 20min walk to the Palazzo Reale), 2 min away from the main train station. Great place to spend night or two while visiting Torino. Checkout up to 11am but we could leave our luggage up until the evening.

One guy at the reception desk could not say a word in english. I had to demonstrate my words because poor guy didn't even know the words 'luggage' or 'backpacks'.

A greatly budget hotel in a convenient location, although internal fixtures and fittings are dated, this is the cleanest hotel stay ever. The house keeping team are superb. A lot of care and attention is taken.

Tram noise during the night, but I am from the countryside so it was to be expected. The double glazed door and windows were effettive at keeping out the noise.

The location is great, near to the city centre and the railway station Porta Nuova. It was a bit cold in the city but there was a radiator with the temperature controller, which is great. The breakfast is quite good with tea/coffee, different types of buns, cereals, fruit, meat and cheese. There was no teapot in the room, but the staff was very nice and gave us hot water and cups when we asked for it.
