It is a hotel in the very heart of Udine, with friendly staff, and excellent and rich breakfast. Comfortable bed in the room of a decent size. The hotel offers private parking, nevertheless, there are plenty of public parking spaces in the Piazza Garibaldi.

Nothing related to the hotel itself and its staff. Just a warning, the City of Udine recently changed its Z.T.L. policy and has not been included in navigation maps. Please be careful, some of the traffic signs are insanely small so you have to be very cautious not to enter the prohibited zone. It is better to find the Z.T.L. map (with its three zones) on the webpage of the municipality and check the route. I hope, that the municipality will solve these issues soon.

The hotel is perfectly located near the city center and is charming, clean and comfortable. But the staff is the true value of this place: Carlo, Michela and Paola were friendly and kind. All of their advice and recommendations for restaurants & activities were exactly what we were looking for. And the rest of the staff were smiling, friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

I had a delightful stay at this hotel, which beautifully combined the charm of an old building with modern comforts. The room was impressively spacious and impeccably clean. Quiet location even though next to the heart of the city, and a 10 minutes walk from the train station. Very friendly staff.

The only small issue was the shower, as the water wasn't quite as hot as I would have liked.

I love this Hotel where I return each time I visit Udine. Rooms are newly renovated, clean and quiet. Staff at the reception is very nice, welcoming and ready to meet custom's request. Breakfast has a delightful variety of salted and sweet offers for all tastes. Being in the old center of udine, means one can find lots of restaurants and shops all at walking distance.

A modern family-owned hotel located within walking distance of the historic center. Lots of great caffès and trattorie in the area . Staff was most welcoming and helpful. The modern room was spacious with a comfy bed and large bathroom including amenities. The tasty buffet breakfast included a large selection of both savory and sweet.

The location was a bit too far to walk from the train station with luggage, maybe 15 minutes or so. A taxi costs @ 9 Euros.

Al Vecchio Tram is my favorite hotel in Udine. The rooms are quite stylish. The furnishings and hotel terrace have character, and everything has been arranged with much love. The breakfast is just great. And the owners/staff are just wonderful. Being located 5 minutes from Piazza Matteotti, this hotel is as good as it gets.

Great comfortable hotel centrally located in Udine, easy walk to good restaurants and the gorgeous central squares as well as to the railway station, friendly helpful staff, great breakfasts, comfortable, quiet rooms. This was my fourth stay and I'll certainly stay again the next time I come through!

It is an interesting, very thoughtfully renovated building very central, short walking distance to the train station and the center. The bed was super comfortable. The room was lovely, a very good renovation. The breakfast area had both indoors and outdoors space, and the breakfast offered many choices. The coffee was excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful. When I came back in the evening, there were rose petals on the floor all along the way, including he lift, maybe they had a couple on honey moon staying! I was born and raised in Udine and I visited to see friends, and the place was very conveniently located. We had dinner at a great restaurant a few minutes walk, Il Marinaio, great local specialities at incredibly affordable prices. I will certainly stay on further visits, [and dine at Il Marinaio too :-)]

One of the reasons I chose the hotel was the spa shower, but the pressure isn’t great, so it isn’t really that exciting, but still good as a shower. Also if you are a portly person, the door to the shower is rather narrow. There is a rail for hanging one’s clothes but I would have preferred a closet, but it is not a big deal, and in a way, it is more hygienic. The lighting was very dim. If you need to do some reading or working at night it is not ideal, but it creates a lovely atmosphere :-)

The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast had great options with local specialties. Value for price is quite high since a lot is included (bottled water in the room, breakfast with coffee). The rooms were super clean, a kettle and teas were also available. Location was easy to reach from the train station and the old town.

The bedding was quite thin

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was superb, we ate outside which was nice. The room is a good size and the bed was comfy. There was a/c and really dark curtains. There was safe storage for our bikes and the Ciclovia Alpe-Adria wasnearby. The walk to the city centre is about 10 mins, so we’ll located

The road our bedroom window looked out of was busy but we opened the window in the bathroom which went out to an inner courtyard and the noise level was acceptable then
