We stayed here because Cortina d' Ampezzo was quite expensive. In the end we preferred it because it was so much more local and although San Vita also quite a few hotels it didn't feel touristy. Our room was cosy, the bathroom a bit old fashioned but all very clean. The staff was very nice. It was a 15 min walk into the village for restaurants, along a footpath. It was very easy to get to via a big road. You have great views onto the mountains. I'd stay again.

My daughter and I had a great stay at Hotel Villa Trieste. The room was simple and clean and the beds were comfortable – we slept like babies after our hikes in the Dolomites. We also really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with many options; the only thing we missed were some vegetables. I also had a request to swap the double blanket with two single ones after the first night and it was done for the next night. The staff were very friendly and kind.

Perfect location, nice little village with everything you need - restaurants, grocery store, bars and in vincinity of many hiking trails. Nice staff, allowed us to have early breakfast on last day in order to make early start to Tre Cime hike. Hotel is old, but well maintained and very clean, with big parking space. Breakfast is served in beautiful dinning room with mountain view.

Cozy and good located hotel. The staff was very friendly and nice, altough not everyone from the staff spoke english they were helpful and nice. Breakfast were very simple but good quality.

The biggest disadvantage was sound isolation. We could hear every word from our neighbours room, so it didn’t give any privacy. It felt more like in a dormitory than in a hotel. So everything was very good, but I can’t give more than 8 because we felt lack of privacy there.

We are beyond love the place. My daughter loves the playground, tiny wildflowers and the meadows aside. The location is very great, close to Cortina d'ampezzo. We enjoyed the room and place around—excellent and delicious breakfast. The room we stay is a beautiful view. Very wonderful and kind staff with all the smiles :) Small hike in the area. The supermarket and Fruit shop are very close.

The location is central and close to the main hiking/trekking attractions in the area. San Vito is a quieter village than Cortina and parking was way easier. The hotel has plenty of parking spots.

The only thing which was a bit odd (it could be that it is just a regular practice in this area) was that there were no eggs for breakfast and nobody from the hotel staff offered them to us. Once we asked they did make them for us. I guess many of the guests never think of asking and just stay with the more simple buffet that is already provided.

Yolanda at the front desk was so friendly, warm and helpfull, she made the sun shine over our stay... The room was very nice and the view from the window was something you would want to paint. The hotel is at a beautiful building at a wonderful location. Breakfast was very nice, tastefully presented and served in a most beautiful stylish building with windows all around to enjoy the beautiful landscape. It was all pure joy!

The place has a nice look and garden. The room was fine, a little outdated. The breakfast is sufficient. The staff is good. There is a parking. The locatiocation is very good, cheaper than Cortina.

The mattresses is with spring and was not the most comfortable. In the morning the woman that was hause keeping was so noisy exactly in front of our door. The doors need lubrication because they are squeaking.

We loved staying at the Hotel Villa Trieste in San Vito di Cadore. The location was perfect - so beautiful and away from the busy streets of Cortina but still close enough to visit. And easy access to hiking trails, bakery, gelato and restaurants. The family and staff were absolutely wonderful and incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and lovely.

Nice and large room with a king size bed, a mini bar with free water and infrasauna inside. We loved to stay there. The breakfast was perfect, the coffee was very delicious. The staff was kind and always smiley. 🙂 There were a lot of space to park with our car. We stayed here just 2 night but next time when we will visit this area, we definitely choose this hotel. Absolutely recommend!

There were warm water only after a while, you have to let out a lot water. Some of the staff could not speak English very well (or not at all).
