Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is amazing! Such a wide variety of choices. The staff offers eggs freshly made just how you prefer. Also a wide variety of hot drinks is offered and then freshly prepared for you. In summary absolutely the best breakfast I ever had in a hotel! The location is perfect. Close to the train station, surrounded by less crowded canals. Especially in the room with a window to the garden have no noise and no problem to find a quiet and relaxing sleep in the comfortable bed. The room was perfectly clean. Free water in the mini bar, free coffee and the offer to have free Italian food in the „Happy Hour“ is absolutely amazing. The option to store bags even after checking out is really useful if you wanna go on a small last journey through Venezia before you return home. Overall I can absolutely recommend to stay at the Moresco, this level of hospitality is a rare find, especially at this price.

The room had small minor damages like a squeaky door and a bit loose door handle, also the shower was leaking a bit after a long shower. But these are only minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of this amazing hotel.

Great view and location

The staff were extremely hospitable and friendly. I was quite comfortable in my room and the breakfast was nice. Also, the location of the hotel was close enough to the bus station where I didn’t have to carry my luggage for too long. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back on another visit.

Breakfast was a delight every morning. A wide variety of food choices, wonderful coffee and delicious hot options. Superb service by the staff too. The room was quiet, big thick curtains to block out light and noise, the bed was very comfortable. The shower has coloured LEDs which was a pleasant surprise. Great shower too. Staff are incredibly helpful, so do let them know if you need advice for where to go or when to go to avoid crowds. The secret garden for smokers is something to see. I'd go back tomorrow if I could. A beautiful Venetian jewel.

The only problem I had was a small problem with my credit card when booking. Took a few attempts to resolve, that's the joys of international banking. Wouldn't put me off coming back though.

Air Conditioning for the room was very poor. It was very hot in Venice during our stay, and the air handler was basically a very small puff of air into the room. The room never cooled down - even overnight.

Good quiet location close to many shops and restaurants. Staff friendly. Very clean and excellent housekeeping. Good breakfast selection. Nice buffet in evening if you are around the hotel. Excellent arrival process.

Just service at times, particularly in the garden area. Nobody would ask if you wanted anything even when they knew you were there. Even if they could see your drink was finished you would have to walk back into the hotel to get further service. The response from reception staff to this, at times, seemed a little irritated which was possibly because it wasn't their job. At the same time feeling you're a nuisance is completely contrary to the expectation you have for such a highly rated hotel. Similar issues at breakfast at times. It's a really solid hotel and a good choice, that you wouldn't go wrong with, but for me not exceptional.

Beautiful space. Love rooms and decor

it’s away from the tourist madness ( as much as one can be in Venice ) which is a good thing. But if you want to be close to Piazza San Marco then this is not the place to stay

Wonderful boutique hotel. Great base as five mins walk from the bus station but quiet peaceful area with lots of great restaurants nearby when tired at the end of the day sightseeing. Great amenities in rooms, Nespresso machine, kettle, supply of bottled drinking water. Toiletries including body lotion. 7am start for breakfast - freshly prepared eggs of choice - attentive service. As would expect, excellent bedding. Staff friendly, great attention to detail all of which makes an excellent stay.

An exceptional hotel with an extremely professional and welcoming staff. Every detail of the hotel has been thought of, and everywhere you look there are fine mirrors, paintings and generally stunning decor. The room was a reasonable size, and actually a good size for Venice where space is always at a premium. The bed was very comfortable, and all the details such as lighting were exactly as you might wish. The bathroom was great, with a brilliant shower. The staff didn't say we had been upgraded but our room had a view of the canal and also it's own small but delightful outside space, neither of which we were expecting. Free coffee pods for the nespresso machine were a very nice touch, as was the stylish metal water bottle and carrying bag we were given on checkin. Breakfast was amazing, with some of the best sausages I have ever eaten (Lucanica?) and eggs and coffee prepared freshly to your taste. We will definitely return to this fabulous hotel. One morning we ate breakfast outside in the peaceful garden - again, a real rarity in Venice.

Obviously this standard does not come cheap, but it's fair to say you get what you pay for, so not really a negative.

The hotel is exceptional, we loved it! It was clean, well appointed and the staff, especially Roxana on Reception, very friendly and helpful. You feel as if you are in a 5-star hotel. It is well located, within walking distance (over a few bridges) from the train station, which is ideal, because you check-in and are then luggage-free to explore Venice. Although the breakfast room isn't very big, in good weather you have the option of sitting out in their beautiful garden to eat, which was wonderful. The staff couldn't be more attentive, they were all excellent. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the room clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
