Location was excellent, quiet but convenient to everything, including the bus and train stations. We had a canal view which was magical! The staff (owners?) were so kind and welcoming. The (common) terrace was a peaceful spot to relax in the afternoon. The hotel had a charming old Venice feel to it.

It was quiet tight and the bed was not very comfortable. A desk and large armoire could be replaced with more thoughtful small-space storage to make the most of the small rooms. Also we lucked out with the canal view, which they could not guarantee - if we didn’t have it, I don’t know that I would give the place as high a rating.

Fantastic location, about 10 minutes from the train station and in a bit of a quieter area compared to the main spots. Lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby. Breakfast was simple but nice and included eggs which was a nice bonus. Staff very friendly and gave some great food recommendations. Clean room with a nice view.

Only one shared bathroom per floor, I think 4 rooms per floor, so sometimes we had to wait quite a while to get in to use the bathroom.

Staff very friendly. Very clean. Situated by a canal in a quieter part of the city, but not too far from main areas. Fantastic value for money.

Only a couple of minimal things; a couple of extra towels and pillows would have been good (although I’m sure they would have provided them had we asked). And the shared toilet and shower was a new experience, but we knew that we would have to share when we booked it - it wasn’t too bad in the end, just a case of listening out for the shower to become free in the mornings. The breakfast room was quite small and could get quite busy around 8am, so perhaps the option for an earlier breakfast time slot would be an idea for those that have early excursions booked. However, there wasn’t really anything that we ‘didn’t like’.

The location is perfect, clean and quiet. In front of the building in the street there is amazing place to eat really really good italian dinner. The room 10th had amazing view and was big enough. On breakfast there was boiled eggs, tea, coffee, milk, cereals, jams in plastic, nutella, bread, croissant and all the necessary things.

We had the room with shower, and while taking it, water from the walls was coming out so the floor was full with water. Also the floor is all stoned and little bit cold. The BEDS - I guess it was twin beds room and not zipped, while sleeping me and my husband were slipping with mattresses and it was totally uncomfortable. In the room there is no kitchenette or little fridge, we were in another building from the kitchen, also don’t know if we could use that or not, would be better to add these things in the room.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations! I loved the location, only 10 minutes walk from the station and 15 mins from Rialto. In a lovely neighborhood with a few cute restaurants and bars but also much quieter than the crowded central area. Our room was right on the canal, so typical of Venice! Really lovely! Everything was spotless, from the common area to our room and bathroom to the breakfast room. The room was not huge but just the right size for a short stay. Breakfast was simple but with everything you need, mostly sweet with some savory options. The owner (or manager) was welcoming and helpful. Overall, a beautiful stay in Venice - totally recommended!

- amazing location in a quite neighbourhood in a quiet part of the town - the rooms are clean, comfortable, warm, and provide a nice view - the breakfast is pretty good - Italian, so mostly sweet, but there are a lot of choices - the hotel is easy to navigate, and the staff is helpful and polite - although we had a shared bathroom, we also gas a sink in the room, which was very useful - the bed was very comfortable

- the hotel is on the older side, so it could do with some renovation, but, in general, it's well kept - the floors are a bit creaky and the rooms are not sound-proof - there is a bit of smell in the bathroom (maybe from the canals) and the showers take a bit to warm up

To be honest, I expected much worse. But I really liked the room, the hotel and its staff. Everything is simple, but very elegant, fitting into the style of Venice. The room is not large, but clean and cosy with a view of the canal. The room is clean, there are shower towels, shower gel, soap. There is a large terrace, although it is open only from 10 to 8, which is illogical when most residents are walking around the city. Breakfasts deserve special attention: coffee, juice, cereals, jam, croissants. Quite a lot for a hearty breakfast. To summarise: given the location, price and service, this is a great option for budget tourism.

As a one-star hotel, it has no TV or fridge. And you need them

I didn’t expect it will be that good )) Good location, clean big room with all the necessary things you might use! And we paid to small for this property!! Wow!! It was really nice option! Also we got an amazing view on canal)) it is so close to bus station and public transport, so if you don’t like walking much just go to Piazza Roma and get the water bus))

We stayed in the room 15, so it was a little bit noisy when someone used the toilet. You can hear everything in your room)

Good location, 15 min walking distance from main bus station. It is a charming old building, big room with AC which it helped cooling down the temperature in the room as in august it is very hot in Venice. The cleaning was done daily :)

The breakfast was limited : boiled eggs, 1croissant and 2 small pieces of buns-bread per person, butter/philadelphia cream cheese/gems/milk/juice, cofee, tea on request from the kitchen. There is a nice terrace (opened between 10am-8pm ) however it was closed at 11am, we asked the key from reception and we were asked to close it and bring the keys back once we were done with the terrace.

The price I paid for a room with internal shower and external toilet at Hotel Dalla Mora was excellent for the location in Venice. It's easy walking distance from so much of Venice, in a nice area with lots of restaurants and not the most touristy spot. The room was great, spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a nice atmosphere.

The free Wifi stopped working after the first day - I had mobile service so will admit I didn't bother to try and get this fixed with the front desk, but it was inconvenient. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast with nice looking croissants, but not great for a gluten free diet. I appreciated the hard boiled eggs that were offered.
