- first and most impressive: THE OWNER AND THE CREW! Attention, friendly care, support - far exceeding my expectations! - location: the hotel is just perfectly located - in my opinion, this is the best possible location for the travelers in Venice with respect to distance to the landmarks, highlights and points of interest and also only a few steps to the boat station towards and from airport - facility: clean, modern, fully equipped - even dedicated AIR REFRESHER and spacious elevator to the first floor, so accessible for everyone

the only thing I dislike - our stay at this hotel was TOO SHORT! WE WANT BACK!

Definitely fantastic experience ! • very nice personal who prepared everything good and even made a list with restaurants/food places/sweets locations with explaining what is good to try where • SO BIG room! Very clean, bed had 2 variants of pillows : one firmer and one softer, tea and kettle in room , lots of towels and extra towels • Great location! Safe and easy to find and it has its own charm. Close to train station and center generally • Good sound isolation • Price was quite low when I stayed which surprised me in good way

• in breakfast could be more variety

The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean with a very comfortable bed. I'd say it's the best night's sleep I've had in weeks. The room had a private balcony overlooking the Ghetto and it was walking distance to everything. Private water taxis are available nearby and the ferry stops a short distance away. The hosts organised a porter to take our luggage from the hotel to the train station which made it so easy on our departure. (30€) Also the breakfast was simple and sufficient. I believe all kosher as well (there was dairy products but no meats served for breakfast which suits me perfectly.) The hotel is directly opposite a wonderful restaurant and is situated in the historic Jewish Quarter surrounded by synagogues. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Perfect in every way! The location in the Cannaregio neighborhood in the Campo di Ghetto Nuovo is outstanding; beautiful surroundings, away from the crowds, but close to restaurants, shops, canals, and bridges. Easy walks to anywhere in Venice. We had two rooms (a quad) that were separated but had a shared entryway. We thought we would be more together but it worked out fine! One room had a terrace with a table and chairs overlooking the campo and it was nice with families gathering, children playing soccer, and people walking through. The other room had two large windows with gorgeous wooden frames and metal shutters that you can open and see out to the campo. Both rooms had their own bathrooms, one with tub, one with shower. The hosts Anna and Emiliano were welcoming, cheerful and helpful! Highly recommend!

The staff who checked us in and out were wonderful, we were given a free umbrella when it rained. And when it was discovered that the bathroom radiator was not switched on, a member of staff fixed it straight away and everything worked. Breakfast was hearty, there were always boiled eggs, cheese, bread, butter, some tomatoes and cucumbers, yoghurt, portioned jams and honey, croissants, other pastries, fruit and fresh coffee. There was also a kettle in the room for tea. The heating was also working properly. The Cannaregio neighbourhood is the best to stay in Venice Island if you don't want to be amongst the endless crowds of tourists 24/7. Also go try the local cicchetti at the "Bacaro ae Bricoe" bar, it is delicious.

On the background of a wonderful holiday, there was one case when on a rainy day we checked into our room around 11am, put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, and the cleaning lady in the next room first turned on loud music on her phone and then started singing. I understand that cleaning to music is more fun, but if the room next door asks not to be disturbed, you can use headphones for music, can't you? By the way, as soon as I looked outside to find the source of the noise, she understood, apologised and there was no more noise.

The location was superb - quiet and interesting area, and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming; we arrived early but there was no problem in accessing our room. The room was clean and clear - no faffy cushions, bits and pieces or chintz! Breakfast was great - a help yourself buffet comprising fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries, juice, ham, hard boiled eggs, cucumber, tomatoes and bread. Fresh tea / coffee was served. There was one pillow each on the (very large) bed but Anna supplied me with a second one when I asked. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the square.

Nothing! I would definitely stay there again.

Everything! The location is away from the main tourist spots but still convenient for the train and bus stations, and the waterbus stop to take you wherever you want to go. The Locanda is beautiful - very clean and attractive. My room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is very good value at 9€. Best of all, Anna was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. She answered my questions and gave me lots of tips on where to eat. I’ll definitely rebook next time I go to Venice and will be recommending this Locanda to friends, family and colleagues.

Nothing.

It was in a quiet corner of Venice, close to shops, restaurants, station and vaporetto stops. Emiliano and his wife were most welcoming, kind and helpful to the extent of helping us over the bridge with our suitcases as we were walking to the station. The breakfast was varied, healthy and very tasty - and even supplied us with Oat milk. Everywhere was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The electricity was rather haphazard, and the furniture in the room was quite sparse.

I was pleasantly surprised. The accommodation offers a nice, safe, quiet place for a fair price (considering prices in Venice). My room was a good size, comfortable with high ceilings, the air conditioning was modern, the bed was comfortable, the cleanliness was exemplary, I was pleasantly surprised by the small fridge. The staff are kind and caring.

The breakfast options are limited, which didn't bother me, but I'm sure some guests would be bothered by the lack of a continental breakfast. The door could be better soundproofed.

The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly - my wife arrived ahead of me at 1am, and their communication with her before she arrived as to how to get to the property and how to get the keys was perfect. They had some good recommendations for the local area, and the continental breakfast in the morning was brilliant - a good selection of food. My only comment is that the bed was a bit on the hard side, but otherwise, cannot fault the stay - would certainly stay again

The harder-than-average bed is my only semi-negative comment for the stay
