The staff were so helpful, polite and happy. The breakfast was lovely and room was very clean and well maintained.

What a wonderful stay! The hotel room was just like the photos, it was very warm and cosy and lovely. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. There was vegan croissants available and breakfast and gluten free options too! Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the Arena and easy to access everywhere. Close to the bus station too for Lake Garda trips etc

Another vegan option at breakfast in addition to the croissant would have been great, perhaps a dairy free yoghurt and something savoury like a vegan cheese or some cooked vegetables. We couldn't find the door to access the hotel initially, so maybe a little bit of advise about where it is on your booking information could help (it was very easy to spot once we had found it).

Really loved this hotel. The entrance was through a huge wooden door from the main street into a courtyard and then lift to reception - the whole place felt quirky and different and perfectly complimented our experience of visiting Verona. We received a very friendly and informative welcome - provided a town map and marked out the places to go and excellent restaurant recommendations. Room was unexpected; chandelier, balcony, swagged curtains, wooden shutters, lots of natural light, very comfortable bed; surprisingly quiet considering it was facing the main road. Bathroom was functional - designed for wheelchair use. Air con worked well. Cleanliness over three night stay was great. Excellent location - ten minutes walk from the train station, ten minutes walk to the Coliseum and twenty five mins taxi ride to airport. Fabulous breakfast buffet with personal, cheerful service and happy atmosphere. Everyone we met spoke fantastic English which we were grateful for.

The apartment was beautiful, clean and specious. It was conveniently located, walking distance to both the train station and central Verona. Breakfast was held in a little room near reception and was a lovely spread of a mix of sweet and savoury, and open till 10:30 (which is great for people who like a lay in like me lol). The staff were also incredibly friendly, polite and helpful.

No complains, we had a lovely stay. Only thing is the outside is a little difficult to find on arrival as the sign for the hotel is a small plaque by the side of two large doors.

Relais Empire Verona is a beautiful small hotel, situated in a renovated old building on Corso Porta Nuona. Very close to the city center, 5 minutes from Piazza Bra and around 10-15 minutes on foot from the train station. The personnel was very polite, helpful and accomodating. There is even a remote reception service so they can accomodate you when the staff isn't there. The room was spotlessly clean with towels changed every day. The breakfast was amazing with many things to choose from, savoury and sweet, perfect for starting the day. Our room was spacious, very quiet, and beautifully decorated making you feel like you stay in an old palazzo. Very good value for money as well. Thank you Relais Empire Verona we had a wonderful stay!

The temperature of the room was too high for us and even though we tried to lower it, apparently there is a central heating system so this wasn't possible.

Upon arrival staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, I felt they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The bed was comfy and extremely big, we had plenty of room for the one night and everything we needed in the room. The hotel is situated a short walk to all local sightseeing destinations, restaurants, shops and the train station. The receptionist offered us a map upon arrival which was very useful! Breakfast was good in the morning, they had Gluten free & Vegan options clearly labeled which was great being wheat & lactose intolerant (all the GF items were packaged so no cross contamination) checking out was easy and they let us keep our bags there so we could continue to site see before catching our train. I'd highly recommend this hotel, very welcoming and comfortable, perfect location and very good value for money.

Nothing - everything was amazing!

Wonderful staff, they gave us a fan when requested and were very kind and helpful. Lovely room and lovely bed.

No air con in March and can't turn off heating in bathroom so boiling unless the window is open. Tiny lift so had to fold up mobility scooter every time, would have been a massive problem if I had a non foldable one! Noisy until 2am on weekends. LED filament bulbs so had to use small light only as the strobe effect made me dizzy and can trigger migraines. These are quite niche disabled people problems, generally it was an amazing stay!

Everything, fantastic value. Great location to see and explore Verona including the old town and the hotel was in a secure and beautiful historic building. An easy, flat 15 minute walk from the train station. The room was lovely and the bathroom huge. The staff were so friendly and helpful with any request or information. The breakfast was outstanding and so beautifully presented and the service was excellent. We booked for one night but wanted to stay so much longer but had to return to Australia.

Location perfect 15 min slow walk from porta nuova train station and a ten min walk to historic centre. Go out of the station turn right, walk past the puorto nuova landmark and straight up the road, Hotel is on the left. We took the train to Padova Mantova and Venice. Breakfast really good. Tea, coffee, juice, cakes pastries, toast, amazing pancakes fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon. Very clean, staff helpful and friendly. Room warm with fridge, kettle, hairdrier,safety deposit box, toiletries, tv. Towels changed if needed and room tidied daily. Very tastefully decorated. A bit confusing getting in at first to get out of the front door there is a release button on the wall.

I really liked this hotel. It is located on one of the main streets - between the train station and the old center. Super close to the bus stops - to and from the train station. But you can walk to train station, too, if you dont have lots of luggage (10 min). There are very nice restaurants and bakeries around. The room was not that big but that was not importantbto me. At the same time the hotel has good lighting in the room and is warm in the winter months. Arena is 5-7 min on foot. Breakfast was abundant and had choices, especiallybthe pastries - the croissants were ones of the best i had. Last but not least, very friendly personnel. Thank you Team Relais Empire!
