At the price we paid we cannot complain! We came from staying at Paris, Las Vegas hotel and they allowed us to check in early for only $25, I'm a hotel receptionist and that is unheard of at my work so we were beyond thankful. We are not fussy people so this was very ideal accommodation for us. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Continental breakfast is included and consists of cereal, Crackers and coffee - a few of the other guests were unhappy with the breakfast busy as I said we are not very fussy and we're happy we were offered cereal and coffee :)

The things I didn't like did not relate to the hotel itself, just 1 undesirable guest who was yelling at the receptionist though not hotels fault

This was my second time booking here. I love this little hotel. It's really pretty with the silver and grey blue ..the rooms are comfy and the bed I had ...OMG THE MATTRESS AND PILLOWS ARE SO SUPER COMFY AND PLUSH. That was definitely a plus with me having arthritis up and down my spine. The staff are really nice and pleasent. I'm still trying to understand why so many disappointments on this hotel, when I've had nothing but beautiful experiences each time!!! Thank you VIP for the awesome rates right in the center of Hollywood!! This is my favorite hotel and the only one I'll book at each time I visit!!

A microwave in the rooms would be awesome, although they are equipped with mini fridge

Great location from the main strip (Hollywood Blvd.)...the room (Rm #104) was spacious, functional, affordable and practical...the batheoom had minor issues but besides not having a kitchenette, the use of what was in the room (Microwave and small fridge) worked...the morning Continental Breakfast was not very impressive but available and at least there was something to eat and drink (Bread, Juice, Instant-Coffee, Milk, Cereal)...the location was secured and locked at all times (Good security protocol measures in place but could be improved), etc.

No laundry facility, my room key kept needing to be reset all the time, the 1st day before check-in was a challenge but resolved.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Although the price is very good, the quality of the room and bed are satisfactory. The WiFi worked well and I appreciated the TV selection. Unless you're spoiled, I would recommend this hotel to you.

Minor issues with the sink faucet being loose. I would like a mat in the shower to prevent slipping and falling. Early morning coffee is important. A real coffee maker instead of instant would make the breakfast more acceptable.

Staff was wonderful and welcoming, very friendly and helpful. The room and restroom were super clean. It smelled like it was just cleaned that same morning. Price was reasonable. Security cameras were excellent. They have surveillance at all times for security purposes. Very secluded area, great for family and friends

Tight parking, and they served continental breakfast late.

Location is pretty much next to the mall and Hollywood Blvd w Hollywood bowl within walking distance.

Entering alley to Parking was very tight, limited parking which you have to pay for every night, only one way to get to location, parking in front requires city permit which I believe is for the residents of the city not for out of towners

parking is extra 25dlls and that I was charged twice. I had already booked thru booking.com and got charged right away and when I got to the hotel they said they only had a reservation under my name but it wasn’t paid yet so the charged me at the hotel again and they said to talk to booking.com to solve the problem and I’m still trying to get my money back

Great experience for its value! The Hollywood VIP, located in a quiet street in the heart if Hollywood you will find this refurbished Hotel from an old vintage building were the superstars M Monroe and Ch Chaplin used to rent rooms at some point. A proper gem in the heart of Hollywood. 10 Points to the warm and helpful staff. Great atmosphere, large rooms. sunny terrace and great location. I lierally came one night cause everything inn the city was booked and stayed 2 weeks! ill comeback with no doubts. M

Hotel is very cute and staff were amazing, very friendly and gave us tips of the area and how to gey to the strip. Location was close to every thing we needed walking distance to many things including hollywood blvd and lots of food. Room was really big and beds comfortable

The property was comfortable and hospitable. It is perfectly situated within walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood boulevard; plenty to see/ do on foot.

The hotel needs to replace the outdoor furniture.
