Best location every! Love the layut of this property on fabulous Negril beach… not too big and not too small. This is truly the perfect size resort for my husband and I. We got married there and all the staff made the entire event stress-free. They held us by the hand and it was perfect… can’t wait to come back here! It is now “our” place.

Only negatives… room I booked was supposed to have a balcony. It did not. The food was not the best here. It wasn’t bad at all, food just not chef quality and a little under seasoned typically. Also kept running out of things (fish sandwich, etc. but that must be challenging on an island.

Pool and activities

The staff seemed inconvenienced often when our group of 8 wanted to eat. We were very patient but they were not. The resort was run down and outdated. Our air-conditioning shut off in the middle of the night and that required maintenance to come reset it. Additionally, there was lots of condensation on our bathroom ceiling since they have no way to ahit the bathroom window. It's open/screened in, but open, and the air temps mixed from outside to our colder room. That also created condensation on the outside of our front door and kept deactivating our key cards (no, it wasn't from our cell phones). Overall, I was dissatisfied with how much I paid and got in return.

Staff were wonderful and eager to help and cater to us. Clive from the front desk in particular was fantastic, fulfilled our wishes to upgrade rooms better than expected, after we asked him to look into it! Location and the beach was great Loads of bars and restaurants

Where you swim in the sea in Sandals had seaweed so it wasn't too comfortable barefoot. The sister family resort - Beaches hotel (30m walk) didn't have the seaweed so we swam there a couple of times

The cuisine was second to none, absolutely fantastic food with variety, many restaurants with set menus, but you could not possibly get bored with the options. The staff in general, were very accommodating, warm and quick to sort out any problems "you think you have" and the overall execution of the activities were world class - it was absolutely a relaxing vacation. The bar staff were knowledgeable, I tested one, made perfect drinks every time - the house cocktails were refreshing, consistent and never ran out. And the beach, well, you have to go to find out - I was in it every morning! My wife and I will definitely be visiting other Sandals location, we really did enjoy it.

A few of the restaurants' staff seemed to have a bias (not sure if it was intended), however, there were instances I had to keep enquiring about our orders, especially when it was clear other guests were being served in ahead of us, another time, one of our waiting staff made options for us that was truly offsetting and I was not very pleased that night-fortunately, or maybe not, it was our last night, so it created a bad taste after having 3 nights at the other restaurants which were absolutely perfect, especially the Italian spot - Cucina Romana.

Everyone we met were so friendly and eager to help with anything we need. The beach was beautiful and resort was very well kept.
